Chapter 101: The 5th Member Part III
Chapter 101: The 5th Member Part III
“Orn!” Maysa was the one who started, her tone sounded curt.
“Y... yes?”
“Vincent told you to meet him in Dores tomorrow. Contact him when you get there. And he would be a little bit late because he still has a long way to travel.”
“Really?” The dark eyes were sparkling with joy instantly.
“But!”
“But?”
“I’m going with you guys, too. I hope you don’t mind.” Hearing her words, Warunya and her friends paused, catching eyes with each other in no time. And of course, those words made the one who was rolling on the floor just now, get up to join in as well.
“Hey! Why do you suddenly want to follow them to find Wis... Vincent?” Manoch yelled loudly.
“It’s my life. I can go wherever I want. Do you have a problem with that?” Maysa talked back smoothly.
“No, I don’t, except that you have a schedule to help me discuss some businesses here, don’t you remember? Why are you changing your mind to go to the boss instead.”
“Because I’ve changed my mind! Discussing business is for a merchant like you. But I’m more like a fighter, so my job is to farm for EXP. The reason is just this simple.”
“More like a sloppy reason, I’ll say.” The young merchant yelled. “How are you going to have me do all the jobs? Come on, give me a hand. Don’t be so sulky. I know you’re jelou... ARGH!!” He did not finish his sentence, before getting sent back to the floor again by the same attack in the eyes.
“Shut your foul mouth, Ae.” Maysa yelled at him with an angry face. Her cute face was as red as a ripe tomato, and it was hard to tell if it was from anger or shyness. But she then turned to smile at Warunya.
“It’s not going to be a problem, right?” It was like she just dropped a bomb. And the one whom the bomb was dropped on, looked at her friends awkwardly. The duo just shrugged as a reply, in unison as usual.
“N... no, it’s not.”
“That’s good.” Maysa smiled widely. “Then, you guys go get ready, and we’ll meet up again at 6 p.m. We’ll get on the airship at Athenia tower before the time we go offline today, okay?”

DRRR!!
The signal was cut off, and Wisana had to cover his ears from the loud blip, which looked like the other one did it on purpose, leaving him extremely confused.
“What is up with her?” The one who just unintentionally provoked her, scratched his cheek.
“How was it, Na? Did May allow Angie to join our guild?” Waree asked from behind, drawing the pair of golden-brown eyes to look at her. The slender figure was sitting on the soft grass with some brat clinging onto her arm closely and tightly.
“She said ‘do as you please.” He drawled in reply, sounding so bored.
“That’s great, Na. Then, can you accept Angie into our guild, too? Please, I’m begging you.” Wisana just let out a sigh as he was glancing at the new member of the guild.
Angie, or Angela, Waree’s friend from the U.S. Every time Wisana looked at her, he would somehow get annoyed. Even though she was kind of cute from the look, who would have thought that this girl could get on his nerves like this!
“It’s okay, Nam. I don’t care about his guild.” She said monotonously. “I never want to be in a poor class guild with a poor-skilled leader like this, anyway. He couldn’t even kill that noob T-ranra, how would he be able to protect you? So, please, come back to the U.S. server with me.”
“Come on, Angie...” Waree said wearily, while Wisana’s eyebrows had twitched at the word poor twice, already.
The brat is a true nerve-wrecker!!!
“I don’t know, Nam. I started to not want this little one in our guild now.”
“Come on, Na.” Waree turned to send the begging look at her brother again.
“Good. Don’t accept me. I don’t want to play the game with a poor player like you, either.”
SNAP!
It sounded like some nerves in his brain had been terminated. He could figure out now that it was not her sarcastic words that hit right to the point. But it was the cold eyes and the emotionless face when she was insulting people so casually like she was talking about the weather!
“Nam, you should tell your friend to watch her mouth sometimes, especially, with a person she just met like this. It’s not like she can say anything she wants, just because she’s a minor.”
“Na, well...”
“You’re mad about what I said?” Angela cut in, making the girl beside her flinch.
“Angie!”
“What I said were facts. Your body is indeed surprisingly flexible, and your reflexes are incredibly good. But your bad decision-making and impulsiveness that lowers your attention to your surroundings will bring you down to hell.”
“That’s enough, Angie!” The one beside her just pulled the girl’s arm a couple of times, but Angela pushed her hand away, unbothered.
“Earlier, didn’t you realize that how you ran off to the front by yourself disrupted the party position? I know that you did it out of a good intention to draw all the attacks to yourself and lowered the enemy’s pressure on Nam. But that was where you were wrong. You were overconfident about your skill and forgot to trust your party mate. That was the real disaster, because what if you actually made a mistake and things went wrong? Don’t you think that Nam, who doesn’t have many attack skills, would have died with you, too? Next time, think more before you act, or people around you will get screwed up, just because of your craziness someday...”
Waree caught the little girl’s mouth before she could finish speaking. The sweet face turned to give her brother, whose eyes were bulging in shock, a dry smile. This was the first time he got insulted by a girl like this. Moreover, it was such a straightforward criticism that he could not even find words to argue with her.
Yeah, she was right, he could be crazy like that sometimes. But the critic lacked sympathy and consideration for the listener’s feelings, too.
Was there really a person like this in the world!!?
“Na, uh... I really apologize for Angie’s manner.” The same pretty sister was the one who reconciled them. She smiled gently, while she was covering Angela’s mouth tight, making the small figure wriggle like someone who could not breathe.
“This girl... what’s controlling that mouth though? Satan?” Wisana narrowed his eyes.
“Well, Angie is still a child. Can you forgive her? Please?”
“A child? She’s capable of insulting people like that, no she’s not a child anymore.”
“Come on, Na. She’s only 10. Also, she might be talkative like this, but actually, she’s a genius. So, she can be saying mean things sometimes.”
Not sometimes, but always! Wisana cursed in his mind but chose not to speak it out loud.
“What do you mean by genius?” The man chose to change the subject instead.
“She’s 10 years old, but she’s my friend from high school from the U.S.”
“A friend from high school?!” He repeated, eyes bulging like an egg. A 10-year-old kid could study in high school?! Well, he heard that there were some geniuses who got their PH.D. by the age of 15-16, too. But when he actually met one of them, he could not help, but get a bit surprised.
He could see now. Those with a high IQ would have an EQ as low as the sea level like this!
“I’m not going to try explaining it anymore.” Angela finally could get Waree’s hands off her mouth. “There’s no point wasting my breath. This person won’t be able to understand what I say, anyway. Guys always have some false confidence in themselves. I’ve seen a lot of people like this.”
“...” Hearing this, even the smooth one like Wisana was speechless.
“Angie.” Waree could only scold with a weary voice.
“Forget it.” The silver-haired girl cut her off. “I transferred to the Thai server because I wanted to play with you, Nam, just like when we were in the U.S. it’s okay if he doesn’t accept me in his guild. You just quit his guild and form a new one with me. The problem’s solved.”
