Chapter 585: Floating Moon City.

After the situation in the North Star City, Hao Ren and the rest of the people came back to the ruined city and when he reached the city square and then stomped his foot and opened a hole in the ground. Then he squeezed out a drop of blood from his index finger and dripped it on the jade seal in his hand before placing it in the ground and covering the hole back again. Then after a few minutes the people sensed a wave of energy flowing around the city and it grew to the diameter of thirty kilometers.

The next minute a shallow barrier appeared in a dome shape. Hao Ren took a deep breath and sensed the connection with the barrier. He said, "Jian, you have the command, I am going back and bringing over Xiao Mei and the worker bots."

The man nodded and Hao Ren rushed towards the first house that he could see and then he placed the artifact shard on the window and left for the Crescent Moon Palace. The first thing that fell in his ears was the crying sound of the little ones. He frowned and directly rushed over to see that Han Lingshi was holding the two children in her arms and was rocking them gently trying to calm them down.

She appeared to be very distressed, suddenly Hao Ren appeared before her and took over Yanling from her arms first and patted her back while she cried against his shoulder and he asked, "What happened to them?"

Han Lingshi sighed and said, "They are teething and so they are irritated by such things. I have tried the teethers but these two just don’t like it. They want to bite on my palms."

Hao Ren frowned and said, "You two goblins, if you tried to trouble your Ma, I will spank your butts into pulp. Do you understand?"

The children suddenly calmed down, and then Hao Ren sighed and coaxed them, "Okay how about we get you two a couple of dragon scales and see if you like them?"

Han Lingshi was shocked and asked, "You want to ask the protector for her scales?"

Hao Ren shrugged and said, "I am sure that she can lend some, if not that I might have to go and find Ulupi."

Han Lingshi sighed and shook her head, "None of those would work, we need to get them to Ma, and find the answers from her. My mother tried something but it didn’t work."

Hao Ren nodded and then he took Xuanshen from her arms and then he said, "We are flying full throttle."

Han Lingshi nodded and placed her hand on his shoulder and then Hao Ren took off, it was as if a meteor had flown off to the space.

They reached the old secluded courtyard in the north after a few hours, and when they landed, Hao Ren said, "Ma, where are you?"

Tang Zhen replied from inside the house, "What are you yelling for brat, have you not learned how to talk decently even after growing so old?"

Hao Ren slumped his shoulders because he knew that no matter what he does the people in the house, specially Empress Dowager would never respect him. He led the trio inside while Han Lingshi chuckled. The moment they came to the living room, Tang Zhen looked at her son and said, "The kids are giving you trouble?"

Hao Ren wanted to say yes, but he shook his head and said, "No, they are teething but we cannot get them to0 chew on anything they might like."

Tang Zhen shook her head and stood up from the chair and said, "You got lucky with the first three and you thought you are an awesome father, in truth, you are a punk and that is all."

Han Lingshi was covering her mouth, trying not to laugh and then looking at the expression Hao Ren had on his face she said, "Ma, he is doing very good."

Tang Zhen shook her head and said while going towards the kitchen, "I still wonder what sort of Meng Pou soup he fed you to be this much in love with him."

Hao Xinyuan, Hao Ren’s father was sitting on the chair on the side as well, but he did not say anything and just closed his eyes to lean back and relax. He knew that the more these mother and son loved each other the bitter they talked to each other, this has always been the dynamic in the house. After a few minutes, Tang Zhen came back with a bowl full of honey and a few spices mixed in it. She said, "Cover the pacifier or the teether with this and they would be fine."

Hao Ren nodded and Han Lingshi cam beside him to help the children and when the teether was placed in their mouths, this time they didn’t cry and even began to chew with a hint of smiles erupting on the corner of their lips. Han Lingshi sighed and said, "Ma, thank you."

The old lady glared at her and said, "If they are your children they are my grand children so what are you being all formal about? Learning to be bad from this brat, are you?"

The young lady chuckled and Hao Ren said, "Ma, why don’t you move back to the royal palace? You might be able to help Lingshi managing the kids."

Tang Zhen raised her brow and asked, "What are you busy with?"

Hao Ren sighed and replied, "Ma, I have to go and handle things in a different realms, they lack spiritual energy there, and it is not good for children so Lingshi is also staying here, because she needs to regain the power she lost during the brith."

Tang Zhen sighed and said, "I will think about it and then tell you what I can do."

Hao Ren nodded and then he exchanged a few small talk with the elders and flew away for the second time. Then after a couple of hours they landed in the courtyard of their residence and handed the Children to Han Lingshi as he said, "I will need to take a few things back and have Xiao Mei plan the deployment of the worker bots and create a city. We have to be quick because the barrier around the new city is bound to attract demons, and with a city commander the protection aspect will fall down significantly."

Han Lingshi nodded and reached in to kiss him. Hao Ren pecked the foreheads of the twins and then told them to be obedient and he will bring them out to travel. As if they could understood his words the two of them smiled and giggled. Hao Ren didn’t wait for long, and headed to the underground lab where Xiao Mei was working and then found her mini version and asked, "Xiao Mei, I need you to develop a city for us, like the diameter is thirty kilometer and it is a ruined city in a circular shape."

Xiao Mei rolled her eyes and said, "Boss, do you know that Circle is the worst shape to defend? If we want a city we will develop a triangle and I will handle the array formation layout as well. Shall I prepare a batch of quick worker bots and construction supplies?"

Hao Ren sighed and said, "Thank heavens that you are so smart or I would have had to kill some brain cells to finish this project."

Xiao Mei chuckled and said, "You didn’t waste your time refining me over the years, how can I let you down? What else do we need?"

Hao Ren shrugged and said, "Once we get there, you can handle the assessment and then tell me about it."

The young lady nodded and then she said, "Give me a couple of hours, I have already contacted the vendors they are gathering the material and I will get it all ready."

Then she sent text to Han Lingxue who was residing in the city and the later quickly organized the staff members to move around and handle the situation. In a couple of hours, they have gathered a lot of things, Hao Ren paid for the things out of his own pocket. He didn’t use the money from the treasury, after all, it was not his property.

Then Hao Ren led Xiao Mei in tow, the worker bots have been placed inside a space ring, and then using the same window that allowed him to come over, they went back to the city.

Xiao Mei appeared in the city and sighed, "This place lacks spiritual energy and we would need to establish a high level spiritual herb farm in the city, then we would need to use some defence array and hold back the threat outside, some killing arrays, and some spirit gathering arrays in combination. As for that half sword there, it can be used as the center of the city."

Hao Ren nodded and Xiao Mei asked, "What are we going to name this city?"

The young man smiled and said, "What else, Floating Moon City, and I am sure you can tell what I mean by that name."

Xiao Mei smiled wickedly and replied, "Boss, you are going to make people want to die."

The two of them chuckled with a spark of evil in their voices and it shocked the rest of the people before they realized who these two were and sighed before shaking their heads.
