Nia blinked, "What's that got to do with Liam?"

Jimmy: "They think my constitution could be inherited by our child. I'm already an adult, so naturally, I can't join the church as a formal exorcist, but Liam, my child, likely has the talent to become a top exorcist."

Once Nia calmed down a bit, Jimmy continued, "I won't allow the church to send him to religious school for training. He will live a normal life like any other child, without any difference. Trust me."

Jimmy pulled Nia to sit on the bed, "Nia, you already know the world isn't safe, but with the extra care from the church people, at least Liam will have a lot more security than others. It's not that I don't love him; I'm doing this to ensure he's safer and starts with a higher point than others."

Jimmy had considered how to deal with this situation long ago, but when the moment came, he still couldn't make Nia calmly accept this arrangement with just a few words.
