Chapter 754: Play with her in the sky

Connor then added, "It’s as if the tower knows what we need the most. That’s really awesome!"

Kevin couldn’t help but smile too. "Indeed, it is awesome! Now I just need to become a priest, and I could wield one of those future divine weapons that you will craft."

"Leave this to me!" said Connor, full of enthusiasm.

Elias and Miguel had already given Connor a lengthy list of weapons to produce, but that didn’t faze him. Derek was with him most of the time, and crafting weapons from ordinary ore—even ore from the red dungeons—was very easy for him and didn’t burden his mental state. It was only when he had to create a new ore, like Damantium, that he felt tired. However, thanks to Ashton’s remedy, he could keep going without too much issue.

After a few more talks, Kevin then joined his other friends, who were all chatting while watching the kids play. Sora, Lena, Solomon, and Altas were with Peter and Maya, so he let them enjoy their family reunion and went with Liam, Ian, Axel, and, curiously, Roman, the king of the Drakonits, who was with them.

Even though Kevin didn’t know how to feel about the fact that Roman was Willow’s soulmate, at least he knew that Roman was a great man, a great leader, and that, like them, he and the Drakonits he commanded were fighting for their freedom and to protect the Universe. That was enough for now!

Roman told them that starting tomorrow, all divine creatures—be they shapeshifters, demons, Drakonits, angels, gods, or their most powerful allies—would train with the Warrior Spirits in the red dungeons.

Elias would inform them of the four teams that would train each morning. They had increased the number of red dungeons from two to four, but they had to be careful since Miguel, Mykael, and Colin weren’t there right now to watch over the teams.

They were all very excited to try the dungeons, and now that Roman and his Drakonits had tried the purple dungeons, they were also eager to try the red ones, as the purple dungeons were a little too easy for them; only those with summoned creatures posed a challenge for the weaker among them.

Roman then said that training in this world was very fun and that they were all happy to have come here. Plus, with the coaching of the Warrior Spirits, they had all made a lot of progress, and already, six other Drakonits had become divine creatures.

As Kevin and Axel were catching up with their friends, Roman went to see Willow, who was playing tag with the black elf kids. When she finished touching them all, she let them regroup with their parents and went to see Roman, who cheered her on.

While she was still flying, she asked him if he wanted to play with her, and he agreed without hesitation. Willow wanted to try to catch him, so he transformed into his Drakonit form to play with her in the sky.

He had noticed that it might be too easy for her to play with the other kids, and even though she had fun with them, she wanted someone more powerful to make the game more challenging.

Once they were high in the sky, Roman said to her, "OK, Willow. You can use any ruse or trap to try to catch me. Use all your powers; don’t be afraid. Even if I’m not as strong as your dads, I’m strong enough for you to give it your all."

Willow’s smile widened, and she said to him, "Let’s play then!"

And so they played!

Willow knew that Roman was fast enough to evade her easily, and for once, it was very fun to play in the vast blue sky, far from the surface. She didn’t use her wings much, so it was a great feeling and excellent training.

At first, she wasn’t as fast as she wanted to be, but Roman gave her some pointers, and her flying speed improved. She could change direction more easily, and once she was satisfied with her training, she told Roman, "Now I will play for real; be careful! I will use some tricks to see if you are as fast as you say!"

Roman just smiled at her and started to fly opposite her. He was now accustomed to her flying speed, so he adapted his speed to match hers. Willow then had this creepy smile on her face, much like Kevin before a fight that excited his battle spirit, and when Roman saw it, he felt like something was wrong. His body started sending him alert warnings, like when he was fighting against a powerful foe.

’Weird,’ he thought, but he soon understood why!

Willow then disappeared and reappeared right next to him. He moved aside to avoid her and flew in another direction.

She again disappeared and reappeared on another side of him. Thanks to his hyper-developed senses, Roman could still cope with this strategy of hers, but he was wondering how she could do that.

It was too quick for her to teleport into a dimension and come back here; moreover, teleporting into a dimension and reappearing so close to him was impossible because she would lose track of him.

While he was using his senses to detect her and avoid her, his mind wasn’t completely alarmed as he was pondering how she could do that. Besides instant teleportation, he didn’t see how it was possible.

Just when he was coming to this conclusion, Willow disappeared again, and he sensed her reappearing on his right. But he felt a danger on his left side. His face became serious, and he caught Willow in his arms before slashing with his sword at an orange ball that had appeared out of nowhere and seemed very powerful.

The shockwave from the destructive orange ball was indeed powerful, and Roman winced in pain when his wings were hurt by it. ’Gold particles,’ he thought immediately.
