Chapter 753: Divine-grade dagger

Chapter 753: Divine-grade dagger

Back in Kevin and Axel’s world, once the shadow team exited the tower, they immediately requested to go inside again, but without Kevin, Axel, and Willow.

Well, the resaon was obviously that what they had experienced was completely different from what they had heard about Julian’s group.

In contrast to Julian’s group, which had been fighting against God-level 4 warriors at most, and that the army on the tenth floor was composed solely of fighters and mages with levels between 180 and 200; they had truly been in hell.

They had fought against an army of the undead, facing countless skeletons of all kinds, including dragon skeletons. There were also zombies and summoned creatures... a lot of them! They hadn’t been battling normal fighters and mages; all the creatures they encountered were incredibly powerful, and the minimum level of those holographic God-level beings was level 8.

If they had made it out alive, it was only thanks to Kevin’s golden chains, which kept them safe from most of the attacks. It had been a terrifying experience, even for them, and only now did they understand what awaited them in just a few days.

They were elite soldiers, and fighting alongside Kevin, Axel, and Willow had broadened their horizons. However, now they needed to fight without their protection. They needed to improve themselves without someone who would babysit them.

As his men seemed more frustrated than traumatized by this experience, Kevin agreed to let them continue their training inside the tower without him. Before leaving them, he instructed his men to be on time for the meeting with the Warrior Spirits the next day at 7 a.m.; otherwise, what they had just experienced on the tenth floor would be child’s play!

Just as his men were entering the tower for the second time, and while they were pondering what to do next, they received a message from Sora, informing them that the black elves, the Paladins, and the Angels had just arrived.

Willow immediately asked if they could go meet the others, and Kevin and Axel didn’t have the heart to refuse her.

Axel opened a golden portal so they could go meet them, and Willow’s smile widened when she saw that the black elves had brought with them the children she played with during their mission.

Kevin and Axel let her go play with them while the adults organized a meeting. Solomon, Sora, Atlas, and Lena were already there, but Ian and Liam couldn’t be present as they were training in some purple dungeons with the rest of the demons and shapeshifters who would participate in the war.

Elias finally arrived a few minutes later, and it was decided that the black elves would fight alongside the demons and shapeshifters, under the command of Kevin, Axel, Ian, and Liam. Meanwhile, the Paladins and Angels would fight with the Warrior Spirits.

They were free to choose where they wanted to reside, and most of the angels and paladins chose to stay in the royal palace of the human territory, while the black elves would live in the royal palace of the demon territory, especially since Peter and Maya’s daughters were living there.

After giving his instructions for the next day, Elias left as he was very busy organizing everything. Since they were currently in the royal palace of the demon territory—thanks to Sora opening the portal for their allies to come into their world—they all chose to stay here for dinner.

A huge banquet was being prepared, and soon the demons and shapeshifters who were training finally joined them.

Kevin was happy to see them all after their few days of absence, and he chose to check on Connor and Derek first.

Connor had been improving greatly and continuously over the past few days; since he began training in the tower, his confidence in his own strength had returned, and he finally felt like himself. Derek was smiling like an idiot, pleased to see Connor finally recovering, and it was a bit strange—but also comical and very sweet—to see him like that.

After discussing the formulas that Kevin’s system provided them, Connor, with a proud smile on his face, finally gave Kevin the first two daggers he had crafted using them.

Connor then told him, "The ore I used to craft these daggers is Damantium. I didn’t infuse them with any elements, so feel free to choose which one you want to add. It’s really easy to make Damantium, so I guess I will focus on that ore to create powerful weapons for our army."

Kevin then checked the stats of these new weapons and was dumbfounded; they were so powerful!

[ARTIFACT]

Divine-grade dagger: +20% of the total Strength points, +20% of the total Agility points, +10% of the total Stamina points.

0/3 elements, 0/1 Divine element: +400% damage with the chosen elements, +100% damage with the chosen Divine element; energy points required to activate depend on the level of the spell launched.

Note: This weapon crafted with Damantium can only be wielded by Fighters and Mages who have reached level 200.

So, if these daggers were already so powerful, what about the other new ores they could produce thanks to the formulas the system provided them—especially the ore that only the Priests could use!

"What about the Tullium? Do you think you will be able to make that ore?" Kevin asked, knowing how difficult it was to produce. Moreover, considering the different ores needed, Connor’s energy reserves might not be enough to craft such an impressive and powerful ore.

But contrary to his expectation, Connor smiled at him and said, "The different ores I need to create the Tullium have already been collected by Miguel and Elias. I just need to increase my energy reserves a bit more, and I could start making it. Thanks to the training towers, my energy reserves have increased considerably, and while Derek’s rewards from completing the trials in the tower are always levels or bonus stats, mine are always energy points."
