Chapter 752: This universe will be mine soon!

"Sir, yes, sir!" all the men replied in unison.

As they were entering the tower, Brice asked Mathias, "Who do you think is stronger, our boss or his husband?"

But before Mathias could respond and tell him to shut up, Kevin spoke up, "My husband, of course! He has already reached God level 10, the maximum level a Divine creature can be. So, as he said, stay focused because you will all experience what it is like to fight against the most powerful creatures in our universe."

"So cool!" Brice couldn’t help but exclaim, only to be slapped on the back of his head by Mathias, who silently moved his lips to really tell him to shut up. All the shadows could read lips, but it wasn’t effective against someone like Axel, who could feel their thoughts.

Still using his link with Kevin, Axel told him, "If you wanted to scare them, you failed! They are even more excited now!"

Kevin just smiled as they passed the first three floors without stopping. After that, Axel made a rune on their forearms to temporarily grant them access to an unlimited energy reserve.

This rune could be activated for 1 minute every hour, making it perfect for ascending the upper floors of the tower. Without a substantial energy reserve, it was impossible to gain access to those levels. This rune would provide his men with the freedom they needed to train here. He was sure that as soon as they were expelled from the tower, they would want to experience it again.

Before entering the tower, he checked their levels; they were all between 165 and 175. He guessed that Lucas had continued to train them when he had the time, as he was the one in charge of stabilizing his home world.

They had less than 10 days before the war, but it would be enough for his shadows to reach level 200.

Since he wanted to meditate tomorrow to become a Priest, Axel would be in charge of them, and he would present them to the Shapeshifters and the demons as Elias wanted.

So even if these were their last days, at least it would be fun. For battle maniacs like them, intense training like this was the best!

In the world of the Titans, in a secret laboratory hidden deep beneath the surface, Chaos and Diana were watching intently at a machine where the first of the scepters was almost complete.

"It took so long to make just one... How are we supposed to make the second one in time for the war? As you said, in 9 days, we will free ourselves from the force shield that cuts us off from Cassandra and Lilith. If the God of War chooses to attack us, we would be vulnerable without those two weapons," said Chaos to his wife, Diana.

The war was imminent; they knew it thanks to her visions, but her visions were so fragmented because of the warrior spirits that she wasn’t sure when it would begin. However, one thing was certain: the war would take place in their world.

Even if they couldn’t create the cannon that would have been able to destroy a world in one attack, the scepters were even more amazing because, thanks to them, they would be able to draw energy from the cradle of magic itself.

Fortunately, she had inherited the knowledge of the first God of their universe; otherwise, she wouldn’t know that a place like this even existed. A place where the spiritual and the Divine energy were being created and spread throughout the universe. An unlimited source of power!

Just thinking about it made her hands shake with excitement. She would finally possess the power to exterminate the warrior spirits that had caused the fall of their reign.

"Now that the first scepter is almost finished, I will use it to make the second one more quickly. I can reduce the time of its creation by half with it. But it won’t be enough, though. If they attack us right after the force field is destroyed, you, Lilith, and Cassandra will have to buy us some time; I will need at least 10 days to craft the second scepter and a day of rest afterward to regain all my powers," said Diana, who seemed troubled.

"Great!" then said Chaos, before adding, "There’s a chance that they won’t attack us right away; they should also need time; otherwise, they wouldn’t have trapped us here. After Lilith comes back here and merges her army with us, we will be able to buy you enough time to finish the second scepter. Maybe Cassandra would be able to help you finish the second scepter faster; after all, she has both our bloodlines now. With her aid, you should be able to regain your strength while finishing the second scepter."

Diana smiled at him and said, "You are right! Cassandra is strong enough now. They don’t even know that, thanks to their force field that cuts us off from the rest of the universe—even from them—they are giving us the time we need to win this war."

As Chaos caressed her face, she told him, "Once we have both scepters, I, with Lilith’s help, will be able to break the punishment rule the Creator imposed on the Titans. Our people will finally be free to roam everywhere in this universe."

After kissing Chaos, who looked very pleased, she thought while watching the first scepter being finished, ’This universe will be mine soon! Just you wait, God of War, I will kill your husband before your eyes once again before ending your poor life.’

While their people finally brought the first scepter to Chaos, who handed it to Diana right away, she contacted Cassandra using their psychic link. She told her that she would need her aid to finish the second scepter and that, while they were busy here, Lilith and her army would need to help Chaos keep the warrior spirits in check and, more importantly, deal with this Priest who had given them so much trouble!
