Chapter 755: I catch you !

He looked at Willow in his arms, which were protected by his wings, and she was smiling proudly. Just to be certain, he lifted her right in front of him and turned her right and left, making sure she was alright. Willow then laughed before putting her hands on his cheeks and said to him, "I caught you!"

He then remembered that she had already shown him that orange ball, which was made of sacred fire energy, and he couldn’t help but say, "That was just a trick! Wow, it was so powerful! My wings still hurt from your attack."

Willow then looked worried and said hurriedly, "I didn’t mean to hurt you! It was just so you would change your trajectory, and I could catch you. It was never meant to attack you. Did it hurt a lot? I can heal you; I know how to do it."

Roman then, in turn, laughed heartily and told her, "It’s nothing, do not worry about it; I’m not that weak! We Drakonit have strong healing powers. My black particles have already taken care of the gold ones that were hurting me. There is nothing to worry about. Didn’t I tell you to go all out?"

Axel suddenly appeared right in front of them and asked them, "Is everything alright? I felt Willow panicking."

Roman’s eyes widened; he didn’t expect Axel to feel Willow’s thoughts, even though they were playing far away from where he was. After all, they had flown quite far while playing.

Axel then told him, as he could read his mind now that he was close by, "It’s not me. Willow created this link between the three of us. She had another one with her grandpas. Fortunately for you, only one is here right now, and he told me to go check first... So, what happened?"

Roman broke out in a cold sweat and said honestly, "We were just playing, that’s all!"

"Just playing?" Axel looked at Willow, who then told him everything.

Kevin appeared next to Axel just as Willow was explaining how she had tried to catch Roman using the new rune that Axel had engraved on her left wrist.

Kevin and Axel were impressed that Roman could still evade Willow, even when she was using the rune of instant teleportation. When Willow told them about her ruse and how Roman got hurt, Kevin praised her, telling her that was a good trick, which earned him a glare from Axel.

Axel then asked her, "So I guess you got anxious when you realized that you hurt him, right?"

Willow nodded, and Kevin, taking her in his arms to reassure her, said, "Come on, baby girl, Roman is powerful. He can’t get hurt just by a small ball of sacred fire energy. Show us the size you used!"

Kevin could sense that Axel wasn’t too happy that Willow had used her sacred fire energy because it was a very powerful and dangerous energy. He wanted to show Axel that their baby girl was aware of that, but when Willow showed them the size of the energy ball she had used, Kevin was speechless. "My goodness, Willow, you could have hurt him badly with a ball of that size!"

The energy ball was the size of a basketball!

"Are you alright?" Axel then asked Roman, who immediately replied, "I’m totally fine. It’s also my fault. I forgot that only Willow could produce this kind of energy, so I slashed at it when I felt the danger coming from it... Of course, I shielded Willow with my body before slashing at it, so she didn’t get hurt!"

"If she had been hurt, we wouldn’t be talking to you; you would already be crashing to the ground!" said Kevin, a golden glow appearing in his eyes.

"And just so you know, Willow is not the only one who can use that energy!" Kevin then activated his Warrior Spirit stage 2 and created a ball of sacred fire energy twice as big as the one Willow had just used.

Axel placed a hand on Kevin’s shoulder to calm him down, and Willow then said, "Daddy, enough! I got carried away because I couldn’t catch him. I know I was in the wrong, but if I had used a smaller ball, Roman wouldn’t have felt threatened, and my trick wouldn’t have worked... Well, I didn’t expect him to slash at it, but I didn’t have time to cancel it before he did... He is very strong!"

Kevin reverted to his usual appearance and said, "I know he is strong; I was just showing off so that he knows that your dads are very strong too!"

"I just assured Elias that everything was fine!" Axel told them before looking at Kevin, who still had a naughty smile on his face. He added, "Next time you transform without warning, I will let you explain to your dad why you did that!"

Willow giggled, and Kevin smiled at her before kissing Axel. He then spoke to Roman using a communication stone, ’I’m sorry, but I’m like this, and you will have to get used to it since you will be a part of our family.’

Roman looked at him before responding through the same means of communication, ’Willow’s safety will always be my priority; you have my word. If she gets hurt while I’m watching over her, you can dispose of me as you see fit.’

Kevin just nodded and then said aloud this time, looking at Axel, "If Roman can counter your rune of instant teleportation, then the Titans could probably do it too... Damn, I really thought we could gain a huge advantage from that rune."

Roman then asked them, "You mean that what Willow was using to disappear and reappear was a rune? Can it be engraved for everybody?"

Axel nodded and asked him, "How did you know where she would reappear?"

Roman smiled at them and said, quite excited by this discovery, "I didn’t know; my hyper-developed senses were warning me of a presence close by."
