Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend

Chapter 354: He Is Warm-Hearted

Chapter 354: He Is Warm-Hearted

After Margaret returned, the Andersons became busy.

In addition, the children could barely stand up, so Hilla was exhausted from taking care of them.

As soon as she finished breastfeeding them, she asked the servant to take them to rest.

Margaret came forward, wrapped her arms around Hilla’s waist, and pulled Hilla into her arms with an evil grin. "Bruce is a sex master. Has he exhausted you?"

Hearing this, Hilla wanted to cover Margaret’s mouth. On second thought, she glanced at Bruce and Julian, who were not far away, and said to Margaret, "What about Julian? You waited three days before coming back. You must enjoy it to the full, right?"

Sometimes, the fight between women was the cruelest.

Hilla exploited Margaret’s weakness, so Margaret let go of Hilla guiltily and took a step back. "I don’t understand what you are talking about."

Hilla glanced at Margaret with disdain. According to Margaret’s flushed face, Margaret must get what Hilla implied.

Probably Margaret even overthought it and was too bashful to admit it.

"You’ve just got married. You should be temperate and take care of yourself. I’ll ask Mother to prepare some nutritional supplements for you. Take them when you go back."

Hilla said with a meaningful smile as she raked Margaret fore and aft and finally fixed her eyes on Margaret’s high collar.

Hilla raised her eyebrow slightly and lifted her chin. "Is there something hidden inside it?"

Margaret was so nervous that she quickly covered her chest. She looked at Hilla, vigilantly took two steps back, and then muttered, "You are a woman. You should pay attention to your image, or you will humiliate Bruce."

As she spoke, she moved closer to Hilla and said in a low voice, "Bruce was torturing you upstairs just now. Have you been worn out?"

Hilla thought, ’Why not tell this to Bruce?’

But Hilla didn’t say anything. Seeing this, Margaret immediately flashed the victory sign, walking happily to the living room.

Bruce and Julian were drinking coffee and talking about the business deal.

Margaret’s face darkened. She glared at them and said fiercely, "Are you going to sell me for the sake of your companies?"

Julian looked up at her with a gentle smile, which sent a chill down her spine.

Bruce replied straightforwardly, "Believe yourself. You are more valuable than these."

Words failed Margaret.

Hilla stepped forward and quickly pulled Margaret to take care of the children. Bruce and Julian always talk about business, which Hilla and Margaret knew little about and sometimes overthought.

Before Margaret was pulled away, she glared at Bruce and Julian and said through gritted teeth, "Shame on you!"

Bruce used his sister as bait while Julian used his wife as a bet, so both of them were bad.

Hilla held Margaret and persuaded, "Well, don’t be angry. They always talk about business. They can’t talk about clothes like us, right?"

Hilla’s words didn’t release Margaret’s anger. Margaret stared at them indignantly until Orlenna came.

"What’s wrong with your eyes?"

When Orlenna saw Margaret’s look, she couldn’t help but want to teach Margaret a lesson. As a married woman, Margaret should behave herself.

When Margaret turned around and saw Orlenna, she repressed her anger at once and hugged Orlenna’s arm with a grieved look.

"Mother, I have told you. I don’t like Julian. The Anderson family’s and the Jorgansen family’s shares have gone up. Can I divorce him?"

Orlenna looked at her with a sneer and said expressionlessly, "Then, the share would drop to the bottom.

"Margaret, are you out of your mind? Stop thinking about this and get on with your life. Then, I can be relieved."

As Orlenna said in a fury, Margaret felt much wronged. "I should live with the person I like. I hate Julian very much."

Every time she saw Julian, she treated him as an enemy and wanted to bite him.

Thinking of what she had suffered in the hotel these days, she was angry that she couldn’t defeat him. She gritted her teeth and hugged Hilla. "Between you and Julian, who does better in boxing?"

Hilla was stunned. Looking at Margaret’s irritated face, she pursed her lips and said, "I’m more flexible than him."

"That means you are more powerful."

Hilla smiled and added, "Of course not. Julian has learned more than I have. What I know is all taught by him. Besides, he comes from a long line of boxers. They have

secret techniques that are only taught to their descendants. Even the sons-in-law or daughters-in-law can’t learn those."

As Hilla spoke, she could see that Margaret got more furious. Margaret said reluctantly to Hilla, "That means even you can’t beat him."

Margaret thought, "This damned man threatens me with force. How despicable!"

Hilla nodded and replied calmly, "Yes."

Margaret was lost for words.

"What are his techniques? He can’t be unmatched in the world."

Hilla thought, ’You know well about it.’

"Margaret, Julian is very nice. If you try to get along with him, maybe you will soon fall in love with him."

"Impossible. I like Lucky more than him."

Margaret said righteously, so Hilla had no choice but to remain silent.

She hoped Margaret wouldn’t get married to Lucky in the future.

Orlenna glanced at her and snapped, "Ignore her. If she gets a divorce, I will break her legs and kick her out of the family."

Hilla was shocked. ’This is a bit ruthless!’

After Bruce and Julian finished talking, they all sat at the table.

Because of Orlenna’s words, Margaret was a little depressed, but when she saw the two envelopes that Orlenna took out, she got spirited.

She was not tired anymore. Instead, she was full of energy.

Orlenna handed the envelopes to Margaret and her voice became gentle.

"Now that you are married, I hope you can take the marriage seriously. Don’t treat it as the interest of the two families. You should cherish each other. Julian, Margaret is willful. You should be nice to her."

Orlenna’s voice was soft and gentle, but she said it very solemnly.

She also looked at Julian seriously and sharply.

"Mother, don’t worry. I will bear with him for the sake of the Anderson family."

Margaret replied cheerfully as she reached out to receive the envelopes. However, Orlenna gave them to Julian and said calmly, "I’m entrusting Margaret to you. You must take care of her and don’t annoy her. She has never cried."

Seeing that Julian nodded and accepted the envelopes, Margaret muttered, "Who said that? I want to cry now!"

...

Orlenna handed the envelopes to Julian.

She handed both to him, one of which should have been given to Margaret.

Margaret immediately frowned and looked at Orlenna. "There are two envelopes for two people, right?"

Orlenna nodded. "Yes, they are from two people."

Margaret was even more anxious. Julian took her envelope, but the others just watched and stood by.

"Mother, you gave both to him. What about mine?"

Margaret pointed at herself and thought, "Mother, I’m your biological daughter, I beg for justice."

Orlenna frowned slightly. "I don’t need to give you money. You’ve grown up."

"But you gave him two envelopes, and one of them should be mine."

Margaret stamped her feet anxiously and decided to book a plane ticket and escape tonight. She must burn the bridge to him.

"Neither of them is for you. Your father and I prepared them for Julian."

Margaret didn’t know what to say. Her father died twenty years ago, so Orlenna shouldn’t have prepared money for him.

After the meal, Margaret was almost mad with fury.

She lost the money from Orlenna, and Orlenna even gave the money from distant relatives to Julian.

Looking at his bulging pockets, Margaret touched her pockets and felt fortunate that she had two left.

They were from Hilla and Bruce, so there must be a lot of money in them.

Margaret had a hard time coming back, so she had intended to stay at home for a few days. She wanted to teach Julian a lesson so that he wouldn’t dare to bully her anymore.

However, Orlenna frowned and said, "The hotel isn’t far from here. You can go back tonight."

"Mother, I know you want me to stay here tonight."

When Julian was ready to go back to the hotel, Margaret hugged Orlenna in an instant. She didn’t want to go at all.

"No. It’s too crowded here. We don’t have any extra rooms."

Margaret thought, "What a poor excuse! The mansion is big enough to

accommodate me."

"I’m not leaving. I want to stay at home."

Margaret hugged the door frame and insisted on staying here.

She was the youngest in the Anderson family and she was Orlenna’s beloved daughter.

Seeing this, Hilla thought that she should stick up for Margaret, only to see that Julian lifted Margaret and carried her into the car.

"This is not the Julian I know.

"How imperious!"

Bruce frowned and coldly said, "Going too far."

Hilla turned around and glanced at him. ’What does he mean? Who went too far, Margaret or Julian?’

Orlenna watched them leave and muttered, "How troublesome!"

"Mother, let’s go back."

Although it was not hot outside, Orlenna would feel dizzy after standing for a long time. Seeing the reluctance in Orlenna’s eyes, Hilla comforted, "Don’t worry. Margaret is so smart, she won’t be bullied."

Hilla must admit that among all the rich young ladies she knew, Margaret was the toughest and the most capable. No matter how unfavorable the circumstance was, she could well protect herself.

Even if she had no good choice, she would choose the one that hurt her the least.

Orlenna stood in place and did not move. After a long while, she sighed and said in a hoarse voice, "It took me twenty years to bring her up, but now, she has been taken away."

Although she said so, she looked in the direction of the car and didn’t look away for a long time.

She added, "I don’t know if she can take care of herself. She is lazy and gluttonous.

She always runs around. It is worrying. Whoever marries her will be unlucky.

"I don’t know if she will be divorced for causing too much trouble."

Nonetheless, she kept staring at the car. Even though the car was out of sight, she stood in place and refused to enter the room.

It was as if she was waiting for Margaret to return.

"Mother, you don’t want Margaret to go, right?"

Hilla pursed her lips. Orlenna was in a daze, totally different from the one who had insisted that Margaret should go.

Looking away, Orlenna sighed and smiled. "I’m getting old and sentimental. I will be very happy when she is not at home.

"I would appreciate it if she won’t come back and disturb me."

Hilla smiled and felt somewhat sad.

Parents were almost the same. Seemingly, they hoped their daughters could get married as soon as possible, but in fact, they didn’t want their daughter to go, even if they never admitted it.

Unfortunately, her parents passed away. If they were alive, they would probably be standing at the door and watching her leave.

After nightfall, colorful neon lights began to light up the entire city.

River City was beautiful and once again full of different vitality and charm.

On the contrary, the outskirts were always empty and sparsely populated.

Everything there looked cold.

A black car stopped in an abandoned factory. In the wild grass not far away, a tall man was waiting in another car.

"Mr. Anderson, they are here."

James stepped forward and respectfully opened the car door. The man in the car did not get out. Instead, he tilted his head slightly and looked at Fred, who fell in front of the car door.

Lori looked at Fred, who was beaten beyond recognition, and took a step back uneasily. She nervously grasped the corner of her clothes and whispered, "Fred, why are you here?"

Mystified, she looked at Bruce in the car.

In the dim light, she couldn’t see him clearly but saw his hands.

His hands looked good with slender fingers. Holding a dart with his fingertips, he was playing around with it.

His facial features were completely submerged in darkness, and the air around him was freezing cold.

"Why did you bring us here? What are you doing?"

Nervous, Lori got into a panic and anxiously looked at the people around her. She was surrounded by the expressionless bodyguards who were in black and she even saw a few before the car door.

For a moment, she realized something, but she did not dare to further think about it.

The entire factory echoed with Fred’s groan of pain. Besides this, everything else was deadly quiet.

James motioned with his eyes for a bodyguard to bring over a laptop, which was

showing what happened in the hotel that day.

There was no sound around. The light from the screen fell upon Lori’s pale face.

When the atmosphere was extremely tense, Bruce slowly said in a cold voice, "Have you seen it clearly?"

Now that she wanted to know the truth, he was willing to do her a favor. Anyhow, he was always warm-hearted!
