INTERSTELLAR ERA: MY MIND IS A LIBRARY

Chapter 59: AXIOM

Chapter 59: AXIOM

"Welcome to the Order of Truth Virtual Server."

The words rang in Silas’s mind as he appeared in the wide, expansive white space.

"Identity is being verified, please wait a few moments."

After a few minutes, a screen appeared in his face.

[Elite Tier 3 researcher Silas Lancaster]

[SSS Tier Talent]

[Leader of the Sovereign Garden: SSS grade potential company]

[Disciple of Vice Tower master Sebastian]

[Prospective Candidate for top hundred in the Imperial Academy]

[Potential is being calculated, please wait a few minutes]

Silas nodded, his eyes going through all the titles displayed on the screen.

He could not help but shake his head at how up to date they were.

Even something that had happened in secret, like Sebastian becoming his master, was documented.

But as he read the line, Prospective Candidate for top hundred of the Imperial Academy, he could not help but furrow his brows.

"How can they calculate that one too? I have never even displayed my combat power in public before."

As he continued to wonder, the screen flashed again, updating with new words.

[Potential has been calculated. You have been given the highest tier 10 Privilege in the Order of Truth.]

Silas read the list, nodding calmly.

He was already used to seeing such outrageous benefits, especially after he had advanced to tier 3 Researcher.

[You will be sent to the Order of Truth Complex now.]

As those words flashed in Silas’s face, the space began to twist until it distorted.

Silas was slightly disoriented and closed his eyes.

But it was only for a second. By the time he opened them again, he was standing in a complex full of life.

Several people of different kinds walked around, each one draped in robes of different colors.

Silas looked at himself, and sure enough, he was wearing a robe.

The robe was a bright indigo one, with platinum linings along the collar.

Silas looked up again, only to see nearby people looking at him with awe.

But looking closer, Silas could see they were more focused on his collar.

"Rion, why are they looking at my collar?" Silas asked with a thought as he maneuvered his way out of there.

"The Platinum Collar symbolizes Elite status, and the ten stars on it show your tier 10 privilege in the Order of Truth," the reply came, calm and stoic, eerily similar to Rion’s voice, but Silas knew at once it was not Rion.

"Where is Rion?" Silas asked.

"I am here, Master Silas," Rion replied.

"Then, who answered me before?" Silas asked with furrowed brows as he entered one of the biggest libraries in sight.

"I am Axiom, Master Silas," the voice answered. "I am the AI in charge of the Order of Truth server. As a Tier 10 privileged Scientist of the Order of Truth, I am assigned to assist you whenever you enter the server," Axiom explained.

Silas furrowed his brows slightly. ’Well, this could be helpful,’ he thought as he strolled through the library.

Passersby constantly stopped to look at him, but Silas did not care. He had only been flustered because he did not know the reason before.

"So, Axiom, how do I get the models for the life and matter branches?" Silas asked as he stopped, his hand brushing through the books on the shelf.

"You would need to pass the verification test at the central plaza. But your authority has bypassed that. You can purchase them freely at any of the spires for 10 truth points."

"So, if I were to pass the verification, I would still need to purchase the models," Silas replied, leaving the book as he delved deeper into the library.

"No, passing the verification grants you one of the two models. The Order of Truth does not want to make things too easy, so they request points from those with enough privilege to bypass the verification," Axiom replied.

Silas nodded slowly. He picked a book from a new shelf and began to walk towards the counter.

"This book, how much is it?" Silas asked Axiom.

"Three hundred points," Axiom replied instantly.

He nodded, putting it into the robot cart that had been following him since he entered.

After strolling through the shop for a few minutes without finding anything of interest, Silas finally sighed.

"That should be all," he muttered.

The robot chimed, a screen appearing over it.

[2890 points]

The screen read.

Silas nodded, checking his balance of a hundred thousand sitting quietly in his Truth bank.

With a thought, he transferred the payment.

The books disappeared immediately, appearing in Rion’s database as pure data that he could extract at any time.

"So, next stop is the spires," Silas said, turning back.

"Can I get some techniques there?" He asked Axiom.

"Yes. You can also access the hidden archives of the spires with your authority. You only need to ask for it," Axiom added.

"How many things did that screen not list?" Silas could not help but mumble to himself.

Axiom had been speaking about authority. It sounded like what Silas could do here was boundless, as long as he had enough points for it.

Silas stepped into the open fields of the server again, properly taking in its sight now.

The place was majestic, like it had been brought straight out of a fantasy story.

The buildings were made to mirror each other, bungalows painted in silver.

The only things that stood out were the library he had just exited, which had a gate with pillars supporting it.

The pillars had depictions of books and scriptures carved into them.

Various unknown writings were drawn on them too.

The other thing that stood out was a single tower, built like a castle with several floating platforms around it.

The tower was a little far from where Silas stood, but he saw it clearly.

"So, that’s the Solarion Spire," he muttered.
