Chapter 350 350: Possibilities

"He tried to kill me, so he's dead." Michael did not try to give any explanation, just stating the facts.

Despite the misunderstanding having been cleared, Michael did not feel guilty of killing Gregory. That guy had the intention to kill him from the start, so, he deserved to die.

And considering the fact that Bob was involved in the death of his parents, Gregory taking action like that, it seemed that it might have been Bob's plan all along?

Back then, Michael had not really paid much attention to Bob's reaction when Gregory was attacking. So, he was not really sure if Bob's reaction was genuine or not.

Regardless of all of that, since it had already happened, then so be it. If he was again faced with such a situation, he would obviously not hesitate to kill him off.

Michael's response left both Newton and Matthew silent for quite a while. Even though they had kind of anticipated this, they still felt quite shocked when they really got the response.

Since they had already been informed by Michael that Bob was the one that was involved with the death of both Zachary and Cynthia, they had anticipated such a possibility.

It was just that they could not understand why Michael had allowed Bob to go back, despite killing Gregory.

But as the old man thought about it, he realized, from the way that Michael had been talking, it seemed that he had only realized now that Bob was the one who had been involved in the death of Zachary and Cynthia.

"Ha! Okay, he deserved it. Since he dared to try to lay his hand on a member of the Santos family, then he did not deserve to live." The old man sighed as he responded, but his eyes were filled with coldness.

At the same time, the old man thought, when he went back, he would definitely have to deal with Bob. That scoundrel, having been taken in by the Santos family, being provided for, only to end up as a traitor, he deserved more than just a simple death.

As for Newton, even though he was also shocked by the fact that Gregory was dead, and he felt a little pained, he felt that that guy deserved it.

So, the thing that they had to make sure of right now was that nobody was supposed to know about this information. Good thing though, it seemed that Bob did not remember what exactly had happened during the time that he was here.

Since that was the case, it implied that as long as they kept things confidential, and looked for another solution, they might be able to get through this situation.

"By the way, about that Bob guy, I would like you to leave him for me to deal with. In fact, I have already sent someone to take care of that." Michael commented, not long after Matthew had spoken.

Matthew and Newton looked at each other, before they eventually nodded. Clearly, Michael held much more hatred towards Bob as compared to them.

As for Michael claiming that he had already sent someone to take care of that, they did not doubt it. After all, not long ago, Michael had communicated with someone through the earpiece, obviously receiving the information on Bob.

This implied that there was someone else who was listening to their conversation. So, it would not be much of a surprise if that person had immediately taken action after delivering the information.

Despite the goal that had brought them here having not been achieved, Matthew stood up as he prepared to leave.

It was a good thing though, considering that they had already clarified all the misunderstandings. The hatred that Michael had towards them, it was no longer there.

While he had not agreed to go back with them to the Santos family, at least, he would no longer blame them on the death of his parents.

As for him being indifferent to them, that was only a matter of time. They believed that as long as they gave him the attention that he deserved, and maybe help out when he needed them, Michael would eventually accept them.

With that, the two departed.

After the two of them left, Michael did not bother with the issue concerning Bob any longer. He had already instructed the bio human that he had sent to look after the Wilson family, to go and get Bob.

For the bio human, of the same model as Adrian, it was not much of a problem for him to be able to get someone if there was a need to. With quite a large number of expert level skills mastered, it would not be much of a problem to be able to get to Bob, before taking him away.

Michael did not give the instruction for Bob to be killed. He wanted to do this personally, to avenge his parents. Therefore, he wanted that guy to be taken away, before being brought over.

As for him, he focused on something else. That was on the possibility of bringing back his parents.

As he accessed the system store, he eventually managed to find some of the abilities that could allow him to be able to bring his parents back.

Of course, Michael had no intention of bringing back zombies. He wanted them to be back, possess their own personalities just like before their death, not be like completely different people.

As he continuously browsed through the system store, a few minutes later, he finally found what he was looking for.

But as he looked at the description of the ability, he was left disappointed. Even with this grade SSS ability, it was not possible to be able to bring them back to life.

Advanced Time Control: This ability allowed the user to accelerate, slow, rewind, or advance time within a selected target or area. With enough energy, the state of an object, structure, or living body could be reversed back to how it existed up to one year earlier, repairing damage or undoing physical change.

The ability could also push time forward, causing rapid aging, decay, or structural breakdown. Larger targets and longer time reversals consumed enormous amounts of energy and placed extreme strain on the user's body and nervous system. Price: 150 SP.

If Michael had obtained this ability just one year after the passing of his parents, then there was a possibility that he could have brought them back to life.

But now, it was already over 4 years since their deaths, making it impossible to use this ability to be able to bring them back to life.

This was something that left him extremely disappointed. But he was quite hopeful about the future possibilities.

If really there existed other civilizations, then there was a possibility that there was a higher level of technology or abilities that could allow him to be able to bring his parents back to life.

Within the system store, of course, there were other abilities that could allow him to be able to bring people back to life. It was just that they could not help out in this situation.

Some of those abilities required someone who had just died within a few hours, or a few days at most. Additionally, they required either the solution or serum to be injected into the body of the deceased.

But for his parents who had died over 4 years ago, they should have already become skeletons by now. So, where was the serum or the solution going to be injected to?

Other abilities could allow people to come back to life, but they would no longer be themselves. Additionally, some of their actions would not be like that of normal humans.

In some situations, someone could be brought back to life, but eventually, they would just be bodies that could move and talk. But they would not have their own personalities, and their own ability to think and make decisions of their own.

In simple terms, they would not be much different from robots, who would be waiting for instructions on what to do.

Michael was not willing to have his parents to become emotionless walking corpses. Additionally, who could tell, maybe, if they awakened, and were not themselves, he might not be able to use any other method on them.

And more than that, it was pretty clear that those methods could not be used on the skeletons.

Just as he was disappointed about this, he received another notification from the system.
