His Hybrid Mate

Chapter 28

Chapter 28

The driver started the car and drove away from Connor's villa.

Thinking of what had happened today, Annette sighed gloomily and covered her face with her hands.

Connor turned to look at her and asked, "What happened? Are you feeling unwell?"

After she heard his voice, Annette could no longer remain calm.

She said to the driver, "Leonard, please pull over."

Leonard thought that she was not feeling well and hurriedly stopped the car by the roadside.

Annette got out of the car, put her hands around her mouth, and shouted forcefully at the passing cars.

Connor held back his laughter and thought, 'She probably wants to beat me up.'

Just now, Annette wanted to embarrass him, but she didn't expect herself to fall into a dilemma instead. Connor understood why Annette had a breakdown.

He stayed in the car and watched her shouting.

After that, she opened the door of the driver's seat and said to Leonard, "Leonard, let me drive."

Leonard turned to look at Connor.

Connor waved his hand and said, "You are off duty now."

Annette got in the car. She started the car and stepped on the accelerator.

As she drove, she asked, "For that one-night stand, how long do you plan to threaten me with it?"

Connor replied casually, "It's hard to say."

"I didn't offend you. Why do you always bully me?" Annette said through gritted teeth.

"Because you were careless and I happened to get the goods on you. You can't blame me for this." Connor shrugged.

Annette glanced at him from the rearview mirror and said, "Alpha Connor, I am driving the car and your life is in my hand. Promise me that you will stop messing with me."

"What if I don't agree?" Connor said.

"Then I will drive the car down the cliff. We will die together."

"I didn't know you wanted to die together with me. My wolf can get me out of any danger, but since you can't leave me, I'll stay," Connor said with a chuckle.

  How shameless! Annette was speechless.

Connor looked at her angry face in the mirror and put on a smile. He said, "You are the first person who dared to threaten me. Congratulations, Annette. You have managed to attract my attention."

Annette said discontentedly, "I don't want your attention. After today, I won't have any contact with you. So, Mr. Norman, please..."

"Don't call me Mr. Norman anymore," Connor suddenly interrupted Annette.

"That's what I called you and Lucas."

"When I am with Lucas, no one knows which one you are calling," Connor said.

Annette said, "You are brothers and have the same surname. Why can't I call him Mr. Norman?"

"In short, change the way you address me and think of a unique name to call me. As I said, I don't like being treated casually," Connor ordered.

"I can't!" Annette said impatiently. She felt that Connor was a little difficult to deal with.

Connor suddenly stepped past the gap between the front and back seats, sat in the passenger seat, and pulled the steering wheel.

The car drove to the roadside.

Annette was frightened. She quickly stepped on the brake and shouted, "Are you crazy?"

"What? Are you scared? Didn't you want to die with me just now?" Connor chuckled.

"I don't want to do it now, OK?" Annette said grumpily.

Connor pulled up the handbrake and looked at her. "You don't want to?"

"That's right. I don't want to." Just as Annette finished her words, Connor kissed her lips.

She wanted to struggle, yet he put down the driver's seat skillfully and pressed down on her.

"Are you crazy? Go away." Annette struggled.

"Didn't you ask me how long I wanted to threaten you with what happened that night? Just now, I thought of a good way to free you."

Annette looked at him in disbelief. She knew that it was definitely not a good way.

"Let me mark you. And I'll forget about our one-night stand. How about that?" Connor said.

"You owe me. You said that I didn't make any requests that night, so you owe me one," Annette said.

Connor suddenly laughed. She wasn't stupid.

He returned to the passenger seat and regretted it a little. He almost succeeded.

Annette quickly sat up. She lowered her head, only to find that he had unbuttoned her shirt.

She buttoned up her shirt and thought, 'I should never see him again. Forever!'

Annette drove back to the community where she lived. After getting out of the car, she said, "Thank you for taking me home. Goodbye."

She was about to enter when Connor suddenly said, "Do you want to drive me away again? I've said that I won't go back tonight."

"Mr. Norman, I hope you won't push me too far. There's a limit," Annette said.

"You sent my driver away. I can't drive because I had some wine." Connor shrugged.

"So, you insist on staying at my place tonight, right?" Annette said.

Connor pondered for a moment before making the request. "It's fine if you want me to leave. Now, think of a way to call me that makes me happy."

Annette turned around in a fit of pique. "I can't. How would I know what kind of name you like?"

"Then I'll take it as you are trying to keep me here," Connor said as he walked over.

Annette immediately said, "I will call you Mr. Norman."

  "No."

"Then I'll call you Alpha Connor."

  "Still, no."

Connor looked at the angry Annette and said, "You can choose between honey and Coney."

Annette did not speak. She did not want to choose either of them.

"You don't want to choose? Then open the door," Connor said.

  "Coney," Annette said hurriedly.

Connor said with satisfaction, "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and call my driver."
