His Hybrid Mate

Chapter 263

Chapter 263

Alina cried and threatened Lucas that she was going to jump off the window.

However, the window was locked, and people were guarding outside. Even if she wanted to escape, she couldn't do it.

Lucas stayed in the same room with Alina every day. He ate and slept with her, yet he didn't talk to her.

In the second month of Alina's house arrest, there was finally another person entering the room.

The family doctor came to draw Alina's blood.

After the doctor left, Alina felt unsettled.

She asked Lucas, her voice getting gentle, "Lucas, what do you want to do?"

Lucas sat in his wheelchair reading, without even looking at her.

Alina got out of bed and squatted down beside his wheelchair.

"Lucas, please. Don't torture me. Tell me what you want to do."

This was the first time in two months that Alina had spoken to Lucas with a normal attitude.

Lucas put down the book and stared at her. "I want you to get pregnant again."

Alina stood up and looked down at him, stunned.

Lucas raised his eyebrows and said, "Your ovulation period should be coming soon."

"I don't want to." Alina shook her head and said, "I don't want to have children."

Lucas grabbed her wrist, forced her to bend over, and pinched her chin.

"Do you think you can still make decisions now? Alina, if you don't want to end up homeless, you'd better obey me."

A long time later, Alina closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I promise you. But you also need to promise me one thing."

Lucas let go of her chin and pushed her away. "You don't get to negotiate with me."

"If you don't say yes, even if I get pregnant again, I will try to kill the baby."

Lucas stared at her and finally smirked sarcastically. "Say it."

"I can give birth to a child for you, but you have to promise me to drive Annette out of the Blood Moon Pack."

Lucas's fingers tapped the edge of the wheelchair.

Alina said, "She comes from the Black Thorn Pack. You don't want to see her either, do you?"

After staring at her for a moment, Lucas said, "Deal."

Alina clenched her fists. She didn't mind having a child with Lucas as long as she could defeat Annette.

Recently, Lucas did not appear again, and Connor thought his words had worked.

Connor and Annette stayed at the seaside villa for less than a week before returning to the Blood Moon Pack.

  Their life was peaceful again.

Connor went to the company, while Annette went to school to work.

After work, they would spend time together.

They had dinner together and stayed in the same room after it, one studying by reading a book and the other dealing with work by looking through documents.

After being intimate, they often hugged each other and chatted.

Time passed quickly. It was getting warmer and the flowers were blooming.

On Friday afternoon, Alanna returned from the cafeteria and said to everyone in the office, "Do you want to go to the lake together tomorrow?"

Eden said, "You want to go on an outing, do you?"

Alanna asked Annette, "Annette, will you go?"

Annette nodded and said, "Yes. I want to take my baby to breathe some fresh air."

She touched her belly tenderly as she spoke.

Sara smiled, "Shall we meet at the school gate at 8 a.m. tomorrow?"

  Everyone agreed with Sara's suggestion.

The next day, Annette got up early.

After she greeted Connor, she left.

When Leonard drove Annette to the school gate, Alanna and Sara were already there.

Annette walked up quickly. Alanna clapped her hands and said, "Okay, everyone's here. Let's go."

Everyone was about to leave when an RV parked at the school gate.

  Then, Connor got off.

He looked at Alanna and Sara and said, "Good morning. Do you mind if I tag along?"

Alanna waved her hand and said, "Of course not."

  Sara nodded at Connor.

"I arranged an RV, and there is everything we need inside. You guys can get into it first."

Annette walked to Connor and asked in a low voice, "What brings you here?"

"You go out alone today, and I am worried. So, I decided to follow you at the last minute."

Annette glared at him with contempt and thought, 'Liar.

He got us an RV, yet he said it was a last-minute decision.'

After everyone got into the car, Connor asked the driver to set off.

On the way, the usually chatty team of three became much quieter due to Connor's presence.

Sara looked out of the car window and couldn't help wondering, "Isn't the route wrong?"

Connor said, "We need to take a detour to pick up someone."

Annette was surprised and asked, "Really? You invited someone else?"

Connor frowned and said, "You and Sara both know him."

Sara didn't react yet, and she heard Annette say, "Are you talking about Zachary?"

Connor curled up the corners of his lips proudly.

  Sara suddenly blushed.

Annette gently nudged Connor with her elbow.

The RV stopped at Zachary's house, and Zachary was waiting at the door.

After Zachary got on, Annette introduced him to Alanna.

Later, the RV stopped by the lake. Everyone got off and was immediately attracted by the scenery there.

The lake was huge, with blooming flowers at the bank, making it look like a painting.

Annett and the others walked toward the lake with their belongings.

Connor asked the driver to set up the tent.

Zachary walked over and took over the tent. "Alpha Connor, leave it to me. I'm good at setting up tents."

Annette noticed it and nudged Sara. "Why don't you go help Zachary?"

Connor stood next to Annette and whispered, "What do you think about my decision to invite Zachary here today?"

Annette praised, "Great job! Go and set up the folding chairs and sun umbrellas."

Connor came, and Annette was actually quite happy.

She would have felt regretful if she had to appreciate such beautiful scenery alone.
