From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 419: A New Divine Pantheon, Celtic

Chapter 419: A New Divine Pantheon, Celtic

After a unique Great Cataclysm came to an end, what naturally followed was a period of relatively peaceful global development.

Every country in the world had been terrified by that dreadful disaster and thoroughly baptized by the endlessly emerging Transcendent Power!

Now everyone knew one thing: Transcendence was no longer just a tool for those religious sects to absorb Divine Faith, but a reality that every nation had to actively advance!

If they did not want their countries to be destroyed in future Supernatural Crises, they had to rely on Transcendent power.

Because of this, in the Parliament of England, the Legislators were arguing loudly:

"I believe we should bring in the Catholic Church. We have believed in The Lord for so many years; there is no problem with going back to that faith!"

"Exactly! The current Catholic Church is no longer the same as it used to be. They will not go around clamoring for subsidies. Aren't they better than those greedy Pastors?"

"Yes, a faith with no barriers is ideal, otherwise we would have to spend time getting familiar with it again..."

A group of people was praising the benefits of the Catholic Church, trying to persuade the others to abandon the Protestantism they had believed in for so long and turn their eyes back to the embrace of Catholicism.

To these people, preserving their lives was the most important thing. As for the various Precepts and rules of the current Catholic Church, it would not be too late to discuss those after they arrived! However, another group clearly held different opinions:

"Your Family might not have historical records, but ours does! Do you remember how those people ravaged Europe back then? You still want to believe in the Pope? When they send out the Crusaders again someday and come to collect taxes from you, you will know how terrible they are!"

"That's right, during the Roman era, our region suffered the most!"

"Exactly! A bunch of High-Sounding hypocrites. They speak nicely, but when it comes to collecting the Tithe, they have never shown any mercy!"

"I think we should believe in the Aesir God. They do not have complex Doctrines or rules; you only need to offer your Divine Faith!"

"The blood of the Vikings also flows in our bodies. In the past, no one minded calling them Barbarians, but now that their Gods have arrived, why not acknowledge them?"

"Believing in our own ancestors is always better than believing in the ancestors of the Hebrews, right?"

The people of the Nordic faction naturally had their say as well. The composition of this group was complex, possessing the Germanic bloodline, the Viking bloodline, Anglo-Saxon roots... they truly had a bit of everything.

Some even had the blood of Barbarians, such as the Slavic bloodline, the Caucasian bloodline, and even the blood of the Steppe people.

When the Mongols invaded Europe back then, they caused no shortage of devastation among the people here. Coupled with intermarriage among various Royal families, the lineage became even more chaotic.

Both sides stuck to their own arguments, neither able to convince the other. Amidst this endless debate, a fierce quarrel suddenly broke out:

"You consider yourselves Germanic? Does anyone else recognize that? You are just inflating your own worth!"

"And you're any better? Just a while ago you took money to slander the Catholic Church, and now you want to go kiss their asses?"

"You filial sons of Germania, you have completely disgraced the British Empire!"

"You worthy grandsons of the Hebrews, I bet your pictures are pinned up at the Wailing Wall too!"

"Hey! Looks like you guys are trying to restore the Third Reich! Why don't you go resurrect the little man with the mustache while you're at it?"

"Looks like you're very fond of concentration camps! We can build those too!"

As they argued, it devolved from an Ideological dispute into a Personal attack. They began to raise the issue to the level of principle, resorting to Labeling, Stabbing in the back, and Catching someone off guard!

This was an everyday occurrence in Parliament, amusing many onlookers who even took out their Cell Phones to record the spectacle.

Ultimately, the Speaker could not stand it any longer. He stood up and ordered them to temper their anger, telling them not to turn the chamber into a Marketplace.

"Stop arguing! Do you want to Act Up like the French?"

That single sentence yielded immediate results. Everyone calmed down and resumed their seemingly endless discussion.

Hearing this debate, a few Legislators from Scotland and even Northern Ireland exchanged glances before one of them suddenly spoke up.

"Since we are talking about Bloodlines, why not try calling upon our own Deities? Our land has its own primordial Gods, does it not?"

Hearing his words, many Legislators turned to look. Seeing his red hair, they let out incredibly loud scoffs of disdain, then turned back to continue arguing their own ideas.

That sound of contempt caused the faces of everyone with Irish blood or the Celtic people's lineage to flush bright red!

They were indeed despised by these people—it had been this way from ancient times to the present. That was why Northern Ireland was still engaged in constant Rebellion, and why Ireland's worst relationship was still with this neighbor of countless years. But they never imagined that these people of England could go so far!

Mocking them to their faces and completely ignoring their opinions—these people were just as disgusting as they had been for hundreds of years!

Unfortunately, aside from harboring resentment in their hearts, they had no way to resolve the situation.

The Irish people, or rather, a portion of the native Scots, all had the blood of the Celtic people. They were the true Populace of this land, yet now they were reduced to being nothing more than Vassals of the Anglo-Saxons. Naturally, they were far from happy about it.

But over the centuries, aside from the Irish people who successfully rebelled and established their own nation, the rest of them were still failing, leaving them with nothing to do but sigh in vain.

"Sigh..."

Indeed, the resistance of the Irish people had been built upon the Death of millions on this land. That was a Price they simply could not afford to pay again.

...

These discussions, however, were heard Crystal Clear by Bai Yang, who was sitting in an empty chair nearby.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Great Britain truly is an excellent choice!" Bai Yang remarked.

He had already decided earlier that his next target location would be Great Britain!

This choice, of course, was not based on some ordinary Population metric. How big was the United Kingdom anyway? It was just a Tiny place that could not even maintain a proper army. The masses were disunited and disloyal, their Divine Faith was incredibly scattered, and all sorts of bizarre beliefs were running rampant.

If he had a choice, Bai Yang actually did not like Great Britain very much. This country was a bit too utterly devoid of morals, having caused tremendous harm to the world through various past actions.

But looking at it from another angle, this country was also an unavoidable cradle of Culture for a large part of the world.

In its prime, Great Britain was the true Empire on which the sun never sets, possessing territory in every single time zone across the globe, hence the claim that the Sun would never set upon it.

Because of this, the Commonwealth was once the most powerful Alliance of nations. Although Great Britain's glory had faded, its ruling power and influence over the Commonwealth nations still existed, which was beyond a shadow of a doubt!

Take India, Canada, and Australia for example. These former Commonwealth countries were still watching their Suzerain state. As long as something happened in this country, they would place at least a modicum of belief in it!

And this belief was the ultimate vector for the propagation of Divine Faith!

"This time, our mission is to spread our influence out into this world! To spread it to the Commonwealth!"

Just as Bai Yang finished speaking, Alvin's voice drifted over. "Crown, the things you needed to inspect have been prepared. Shall we... head over?"

"Of course we are heading over!" Bai Yang said, looking at the chaotic parliament before him. "Next up, it is time for Great Britain to put on a show! I wonder if they will be able to handle this situation!"

Bai Yang was quite happy to watch Great Britain make a fool of itself. This country absolutely could not Keep out of trouble!

One had to know, over in America, the Emperor of Ten Thousand Taxes was on the verge of becoming the Myriad-year Emperor. His opponents had even organized the largest Grand parade in America's history; it was truly a spectacular and bustling affair.

Meanwhile, among the populace, various Transcendent beings were running amok. Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, and Cultists had become exclusive supernatural occurrences in many areas. The Transcendent beings of the Roman Catholic Church and Āsathrú, alongside the Government's Transcendent beings, were working to manage their crises.

It was truly a chaotic intertwining of justice and Evil, with Deities and Monsters flying everywhere!

Florida, in particular, was a prime example. Due to the activities of a certain Cult Bishop, there was already an underlying belief in Demons. Thanks to Angus's interventions, it was also flooded with a massive number of The Faithful from the Holy See. Furthermore, its proximity to South America meant there were many Original Inhabitants and South American immigrants!

In that territory, evil spirits and demons were truly flying around in extreme chaos, exhibiting a chaotic coexistence where Demons and angels danced together!

The Holy See's Priests and clerics, the Warriors of Āsathrú, the Sorcerers of the Gods of the Americas, the Cultists of Demons, the Priests of evil gods, and all sorts of Dark Creatures clashed together, fighting fiercely with no end in sight.

Because of this, the Wish Power here was exceptionally abundant. The number of Deceased People was not small, but due to the emergence of this new ecology and vitality, many people ironically found themselves living better lives, leading to the birth of new lives.

It was truly a case of Order in chaos, developing better and better. Thinking about it made Bai Yang not know whether to laugh or cry!

"Crown, we have arrived!" While Bai Yang's thoughts were still wandering, Alvin's voice pulled him back to reality.

Now, they had arrived next door to Great Britain, in the capital of Ireland—Dublin!

"I don't know if the Celtic Gods are here or not, but the aura of Death beneath this land is practically overflowing!" Bai Yang exclaimed in amazement!
