From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 404: This is an Orthodox Divine Pantheon!

Chapter 404: This is an Orthodox Divine Pantheon!

On the Dylan Continent, amidst a barren wasteland buried in ice and snow, two entities of Powerful Divine Power looked at each other in silence.

Griffith, the God of Justice, was the first to speak. "It truly is the Creator Authority. That person who arrived must be the one known in Christian history as Saint Peter, right?"

Garfield, the God of Bards, nodded. "Yes, it can only be him! As the first Pope of the Church, it seems quite reasonable for him to possess the Creator Authority!"

They had just traveled to that world, attaching their consciousness to vessels and witnessing that very scene. Naturally, their shock was beyond words.

Seeing the Creator Authority manifest right before their eyes was an entirely different experience!

The reason entities of Powerful Divine Power were so formidable, aside from their innate divinity, was primarily due to the unique authorities they wielded.

Light, darkness, justice, freedom, order...

These authorities were the source of the absurdly immense strength possessed by those with Powerful Divine Power.

Yet, among these authorities, a few were completely different and entirely unique. Naturally, the Creator Authority was one of them!

While other authorities simply represented different domains, every entity of Powerful Divine Power knew perfectly well that the Creator Authority was a taboo they could not touch! No one could touch it, and no one dared to touch it. Even though the God Above God had been missing for several eras, absolutely no one dared to provoke his wrath!

That was the God Above God, a magnificent existence who could strike all deities down to the dust and completely rewrite the landscape of the Dylan Continent with a single word. Only he possessed the power to wield the Creator Authority.

Now, someone in the neighboring world was capable of using this power. Did that not prove this point even further?

It was exactly because they witnessed this scene that the two dared not linger in that world. They were terrified of being discovered by that great being, which would spell absolute disaster!

Stowaways were unwelcome in any era. They knew this well, which was why they fled back so quickly.

Aside from that, they also discussed the tales and rumors surrounding those Divine Pantheons.

As the God of Bards, Garfield was clearly fascinated by these stories. "So it turns out that even a Creator God can suffer setbacks!"

Through their brief perception of higher-dimensional information streams, they had grown fully aware of the existence of these Divine Pantheons. Although they did not possess much concrete data, their eavesdropped conversations had made them realize just how powerful this Yahweh truly was.

But sheer power did not prove everything. Even a mighty Creator God had no choice but to stand down when surrounded by the pantheons of other creators. This filled them with profound curiosity.

Just as ordinary people yearned to know about the lives of nobles, entities of Powerful Divine Power were naturally curious about the experiences of Creator Gods. Hearing that even a mighty Creator God could be constrained and hindered brought them a strange sense of comfort.

Sure enough, as long as one was a living being, they could not escape the fundamental nature of intelligent life: conflict. Even a Creator God was no exception.

But just as they were marveling at the existence of such magnificent power, a strange ripple washed over them, causing both deities to snap their heads up.

"Is this... coming from the other side of the Rift?"

Both entities of Powerful Divine Power felt a twinge of nervousness. They had only just returned from someone else's world, and now there were fluctuations coming from that very same place. Could it be...

Griffith instantly summoned his divine artifact. If an attack was truly coming from the other side, no matter the odds, he could not stand idly by as the God of Justice.

Garfield did not draw a weapon. Instead, he pulled out his flute. If the arrival turned out to be a guest, he wouldn't mind playing a welcoming tune.

While a thousand thoughts raced through their minds, what actually appeared before their eyes was an incredibly massive rock!

"This is..." Both deities froze, watching as the colossal stone squeezed through the microscopic Space-Time Rift and materialized right in front of them.

The two entities of Powerful Divine Power instantly flew over. In that moment, their Godhoods and divine authorities actually began to tremble. It was a peculiar sensation known as craving!

Their Godhoods thirsted for the stone before them—or to be precise, they thirsted for foreign matter!

They naturally understood why. The ranks of their Powerful Divine Power Godhoods were not at the absolute peak, leaving immense room for improvement. Under such circumstances, their Godhoods would relentlessly crave resources, divine portfolios, and anything else that could elevate their strength! This was one of the fundamental causes behind the Divine Wars on the Dylan Continent. Gods always hungered for growth, and when internal growth became impossible, plunder was the best solution.

Yet now, they were still astonished, because this craving was simply too intense!

"Crown Loki was right. This world's thirst for physical matter allowed me to cross over with almost zero resistance!" At the same time, a distinct voice reached their ears.

The two deities looked up to see a man standing beside the massive Meteorite, calmly stating his observation.

"A Weak Divinity? No, a Weak Divine Power? That's not it either. The composition of this God Power is incredibly fascinating!" Garfield was the first to speak. "Are you a deity from the other world? Connected to that Yahweh?"

Hearing this, Lova hurriedly explained, "I have no connection to Crown Yahweh, but I am indeed a deity from Earth!"

"Respected God of Justice and God of Bards, I am Lova. I come bearing the goodwill of the God King of the Aesir!"

He gazed at the two entities of Powerful Divine Power without much fear in his eyes. Compared to the terrifying aura of the Aesir's mighty gods, the pressure exuded by these two was much weaker, making it effortless to withstand.

Little did he know, the gods of the Dylan Continent were screaming internally: What kind of lunatic was extravagant enough to burn God Power just to maintain an oppressive aura twenty-four seven!

Hearing this name, Griffith frowned. "Wait, if my memory serves me right, your God Power and divine portfolio seem to be connected to the God of Ice and Snow who used to reside here?"

"Crown God of Justice, you truly live up to your reputation as the deity with the best memory on the entire continent. Yes, I was originally a subordinate deity to the God of Ice and Snow. But now, I belong to the Aesir and am a member of Asgard!" Lova stated with absolute calm. "I have forsaken my Godhood and am no longer a deity of this continent!"

Griffith stared at him. "Then why have you returned to this continent bearing so much physical matter? Are you looking to serve a new Chief God? This amount of matter is more than enough to buy your entry into a Divine Pantheon and make you one of its core members!"

"No, no, no!" Lova hastily waved his hands. "I didn't bring this back for myself. In fact, this is a welcoming gift from Crown Loki for the two of you!"

With a casual wave of his hand, he sent the incredibly massive Meteorite crashing heavily into the ground, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. "In the Aesir pantheon, this sort of thing isn't a particularly important resource. If I wanted to, I could acquire this much matter every single day, but there's simply no need!"

Hearing this, even someone as easygoing as Garfield looked visibly shocked. "What do you mean 'no need'? You don't need it?"

"Exactly, I don't need it! Under the nourishment of the World Tree, my Divine Kingdom can grow infinitely without the aid of external matter!" Lova declared loudly. "This physical matter is only a part of the world, not a part of a god!"

"We are much more accustomed to using God Power and Wish Power to elevate ourselves, rather than resorting to plundering physical matter!"

Frowning with clear displeasure, Griffith demanded, "What are you trying to prove by saying all this? Are you trying to imply that the Divine Pantheons of our world are inferior?"

Lova shook his head. "Not at all, Crown Griffith! I merely feel that the Divine Pantheons of the Dylan Continent are somewhat unorthodox and lack many crucial elements!"

He glanced around, noticing that the subordinate deities under the two entities of Powerful Divine Power had all focused their attention on him, before slowly continuing. "The moment God King Odin accepted me into his pantheon, he gifted me one-third of a city's Divine Faith. He even promised that once I truly ascend to full godhood, I will be given a world of my very own!"

"I am currently only a Demigod, yet I have already gained two hundred thousand of The Faithful!"

The young deity openly displayed his power before everyone present. A golden sphere, condensed entirely from Wish Power, radiated with a brilliant, blinding light before the assembly of gods!

They all recognized that this was the physical manifestation of Wish Power, and they knew he wasn't lying. For a deity from another world to possess such a dense sphere of energy, his congregation of The Faithful had to be astronomically large!

"Furthermore, the Āsathrú is no longer a religion confined to a single world. It is renowned throughout the entire Sea of Worlds and holds dominion over countless realms. This is the ultimate form of a powerful Divine Pantheon!"

"This is what a true, orthodox Divine Pantheon looks like, and this is exactly what I came to tell you!" Lova concluded. "Please pass on my regards to the God of Ice and Snow. Tell him I won't be coming back!"

Through his series of revelations, the gods gradually pieced together the image of a utopian beacon for all deities. And right now, as they stared at the colossal chunk of physical matter beside Lova, this illusory beacon suddenly seemed very, very real!
