From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 401: A Massive Bluff!

Chapter 401: A Massive Bluff!

The Caribbean Sea, the Windless Graveyard.

In the week following the end of that terrifying Supernatural disaster, the American fleet had already surrounded the area.

Although America had weakened, with only four of its eleven aircraft carriers operational—oh, wait, now there were only three left—since a certain Eastern Great Power had fallen completely silent and a special supernatural information blockade had sealed it off, America finally had the energy to handle other matters.

However, due to the Advent of the Supernatural, the pressure this nation exerted on the world had indeed lessened considerably.

As the saying goes, when one Ecological Niche is emptied, another will inevitably move in to fill it. America was the overlord before, but that was not necessarily the case in this Era of the Extraordinary.

Was it not obvious that Japan, America's number one subordinate, had already begun to rebel?

Their excuses of Supernatural disasters or the Hundred Demon Night Parade to avoid executing orders were clear signs of breaking away from that rule. As for the feigned compliance of over half of Europe, that was even more blatantly obvious.

The Germanic regions looked north, the Christian regions looked south, and the Greek region, ever since discovering the true surging might of Poseidon out at sea, had fully displayed their own ambitions as well!

But even so, in the Caribbean Sea, America remained the undisputed monarch.

None of the surrounding countries could stop their arrival, and the only capable Original Inhabitants representing indigenous religions were already on their ships."High Priest Carl, this is all the data we have collected regarding this Sea Area!" Gao handed the documents to Carl. Beside them stood representatives of the numerous nations involved in this global event, all passing along their own gathered intelligence.

Information about the Windless Graveyard and tales of pirates from that era—every single incident and detail was compiled before Carl.

Using his newly installed mechanical arm, Carl flipped through the pages one by one, gaining a general understanding of the contents.

"So, the sheer strangeness of this Sea Area has actually existed for a very long time, hasn't it?"

"Yes!" Gao nodded. "The records here likely existed long before we ever arrived in this Sea Area! Professor Thomas analyzed that this might be the true origin of this world. Long, long ago, the Gods fought a war against False Gods, ultimately sealing them within this ocean!"

Carl paused, stunned. "Them? Isn't there only Kuchamama?"

Gao sighed. "We hoped it was only Kuchamama too. But based on our analysis of the Altar on that surfaced island, there are seven other shattered Altars in this Sea Area. In other words, there might be seven more False God Transcendent Beings lurking in these waters!"

Upon hearing this, not just Carl, but everyone present became incredibly tense.

A single Kuchamama had nearly wiped out half of the world's Transcendent forces. Now they were being told there were seven more just like him?

Were the spaceships ready? Was it still not too late to abandon Earth?

"Don't look so grim. There aren't that many, and even if there were, they wouldn't be as powerful as Kuchamama!" Angus could not help but interject from the side.

He was deeply involved in this investigation and knew much more. "Of those Altars, five are completely destroyed with no lingering Supernatural influence. Of the remaining three, one belongs to the Sea God Kuchamama right in front of us. As for the False Gods of the other two Altars, their whereabouts are currently unknown!"

It offered a little comfort, but not much. Everyone still felt a deep sense of horror, making the atmosphere incredibly oppressive.

Those were two False Gods! To just announce it so casually... what on earth were the American Officials thinking?

They were forcing everyone to pick a Transcendent side to stand on!

...

Meanwhile, deep within this ocean, two "people" happened to cross paths, their faces marked with lingering dread.

"Kuchamama is dead... completely dead. What Odin and Poseidon failed to achieve back then, a human managed to do! That Pope of The Church!" The man wearing a mask said. "Is Yahweh really that strong? Can his believers actually kill us?"

"Of course he is! You do not reside permanently in the Sea of Worlds, so you don't know. Yahweh is not just strong, his power is practically boundless!" the other person replied. "That year, many Divine Pantheons suffered a massive loss, and the name of that massive loss was Yahweh!"

"That strong? Just how massive of a loss?" the masked man asked. "In that year, the Desert Boundary City was half-destroyed, the World Tree was shattered in half, and Mount Olympus was smashed into the Sea of Worlds... It wasn't until Kaos stepped forward to intercept Jehovah that the matter finally came to an end!"

"That year, I witnessed that battle in the Sea of Worlds. God himself simply held a sword and blocked the entrances to the realms of these Divine Pantheons, demanding their Chief Gods come out and admit their faults!"

The masked man sighed in awe. "As expected of the true Trinity Creator God, consolidating all mighty power into himself. Even those powerful Divine Pantheons had to bow their heads and apologize! Were they truly willing to accept that?"

"Heh! Admitting their faults was one thing... You don't actually think those three Divine Pantheons are just harmless nice guys, do you? You've had contact with Odin; what kind of God do you think he is?" The man speaking had many wrinkles on his face, making him look like an ancient tree.

The masked man paused. "Odin? A manic Chief God, a war freak... But he is indeed a very capable fighter. During the Divine War, we didn't gain a single advantage against him!"

"Exactly. So what on earth did a Chief God do to provoke Yahweh into personally coming over and overturning his World Tree?" the wrinkled man said. "The truth is, they didn't suffer any losses back then at all. Instead, it was Jehovah who suffered a massive loss!"

"What massive loss?" the masked man asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Those Divine Pantheons banded together, cobbled up a territory for Lucifer, and gifted it to him!" the wrinkled man explained. "The Vice-Regent of the Heavenly Kingdom! Even on the scale of a Divine War, he was the supreme commander of an entire Divine Pantheon's army. Yet, he ended up becoming the leader of Hell. Tell me, as a Chief God, how could Jehovah not be furious?"

"When you put it that way, it makes sense. If it were me, I'd definitely make sure they understood the wrath of the Heavenly Kingdom!" The masked man understood now. Listening to these secret histories of the Gods was truly fascinating. "So, they just fought and that was it?"

"If it had been just one Divine Pantheon, Yahweh definitely would have made them experience the wrath of the Heavenly Kingdom. But all three Divine Pantheons have their own Creator Gods, so what else could he do?" The wrinkled man viewed it quite philosophically.

"It was merely a clash of Interests between Divine Pantheons. They are all massive Divine Pantheons occupying countless worlds. Even if Yahweh killed all those Gods, what difference would it make? The River of Time flows right beneath the Sea of Worlds; who among them couldn't resurrect from it?"

The masked man realized. "So Heaven lost the substance but saved face, while the others lost face but gained the substantial benefits?"

"You can't exactly say that. When you get right down to it, both Demons and Angels originated from that same mountain. Who knows what their actual relationship is behind the scenes? When the Divine War reached a frenzy and the Demons were pulled in as combat power, it's not like you didn't experience it! That is Yahweh, the youngest Creator God in history. If he didn't have his own schemes, would his own deputy just fall into Depravity so easily?"

The wrinkled man clearly did not think so simply. "We had better lay low and stay silent for a while. Otherwise, if Yahweh truly finds us, we will be..."

Before he could finish his sentence, a cold, piercing voice rang out, "Found you!"

The two whipped their heads around and saw an old man standing quietly on the surface of the sea. Their faces paled in horror. "Who are you?"

"You've been telling stories about my Lord for so long, yet you don't know who I am?" the old man said with a calm expression. "To speak my Lord's name in a land of my Lord's Divine Faith... you False Gods are truly audacious!"

At that moment, the two finally realized. That's right, this was his territory. Wasn't the very definition of a God "whoever speaks their name, shall be known to them"?

They had badmouthed Yahweh so much right here; how could he not come knocking on their door?

"Impossible, you're still in the Divine War..." the masked man said in shock. "We didn't sense your Divine Kingdom descending. You shouldn't be here!"

"If the actions of the Heavenly Kingdom could be known to you, you wouldn't have failed back then!" the old man said calmly. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Peter, and I am here to pronounce your judgment of Death!"

As his words fell, the bodies of the two False Gods shattered like glass!

It wasn't just their bodies that shattered, but their Souls, and everything around them!

It wasn't until this moment that the person watching all of this finally reacted, his eyes filled with absolute shock:

"This... this is the Creator Authority. We just... heard a story about the Creator God... So many Divine Pantheons, these events... they're all real!"

The special Wish Power from two powerful deities had been collected once again!
