From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 376: Schemes in the Deep Sea

Chapter 376: Schemes in the Deep Sea

Almost at the exact moment Elton heard the ballad originating from Poseidon, several ships in different parts of this sea discovered some hidden treasures simultaneously.

In the sea area of Haiti, Austin found a Crystal Head that had almost entirely lost its original shape;

Meanwhile, a fleet from the Nordic region heard the ancient battle songs of the Viking Age;

The fleet from England spotted what looked like a discarded piece of wood in their patrol area;

And a Tycoon Fleet from the Middle East discovered a drum that appeared to be made of human skin...

It was as if, in this single instant, all Supernatural forces had converged here. They all discovered different treasures, and from the vicinity of these treasures, they salvaged a series of ancient items and even Crew Logs.

Thus, amidst the suspicious speculations of many observers, the entire Caribbean Sea plunged into a bizarre Excavation Race.

They all firmly believed they had found the treasures buried by pirates, and they had obtained the answers from the logs of the surrounding ships.

"Blackbeard's most powerful strength originated from a special Scimitar. Rumor has it that this Scimitar was crafted by Fairies, granting the ability to walk on the surface of the sea as if on solid ground!"

"Many pirates relied on the Supernatural Artifacts they found in the ocean to fight against the various national navies...""The Mighty British Navy found what is suspected to be the Dark Sorcery of the Mayan Empire in Jamaica, allowing them to run rampant across the Great Ocean!"

"France cooperated with the Catholic Church, relying on Priests and Bishops accompanying the ships to open up brand new sailing routes using holy light and prayers!"

"The Dutch East India Company sought out Witch Doctors from Africa to combat the increasingly severe scourge of scurvy..."

"The dangers at sea are innumerable. Various Sea Monsters will crawl out of all kinds of places to devour every ship... There are also Sirens singing their songs, turning vessels into Ghost Ships... And perfectly normal people, after going out to sea, have transformed into Gill and Scale-Covered Sea Monsters..."

Austin was the busiest of all. Looking through these documents and learning what had happened during that era, he chose to transmit all the information from here back to the White House, naturally including the Crystal Head he had discovered.

Almost immediately, Golden Hair sent a message back: "The Second Fleet is on its way. Keep that Crystal Head safe; none of your lives are as important as it is!"

Therefore, Austin could only wait for the fleet's arrival while reviewing the documents and materials he had salvaged from this sea area.

Of course, he had not translated these materials himself. The Scholars accompanying the ship had transmitted them directly to the White House, relying on their incredibly formidable team of Experts for the translation.

However, Austin still managed to grasp the general gist of what was written. To his astonishment, he discovered that the great pirates from three or even four hundred years ago had also relied on Supernatural Items from this very sea area.

Those powerful pirates could even rely on these special Supernatural Items or powers to contend with the Royal Navy of that era!

But unfortunately, what did any of this have to do with him?

Because he was a South American-American with a very distinct Latin American Appearance, and during previous missions, some even suspected him of being a spy for the Apache Tribe.

Even now, having become the leader of this team, there were still two people in the squad watching his every move, ready to prevent him from taking any drastic actions.

He knew exactly why. In a nation like America, even White People were divided into various social classes, let alone an outsider like him.

This was especially true now that the Divine Faith in the South American Deities was growing ever stronger, placing even more constraints upon him.

'Hmph! Aren't they just afraid of our Return of Deities, terrified that our gods will drive them off this continent?' Austin thought out of boredom. It was just a pity that he had no way to turn back. His entire life was bound to America; even if he wanted to break away, it had become impossible.

"It is not impossible." Right at this moment, a peculiar voice echoed in Austin's mind.

Startled, Austin jumped. "What was that sound?"

He looked around but saw nothing, which only made him feel even more panicked. "Who? Who is it? Who is there?"

Then, he realized he seemed to have been pulled into a space of pure blackness. He could see absolutely nothing; only an indescribable Darkness descended upon him from all directions!

Fear swirled within Austin's heart, yet amidst that fear, a sliver of hope also emerged.

After all, having come into contact with the Supernatural so frequently, he could guess that this was likely the doing of some Transcendent monster or entity. He hoped it was a deity, so he could rid himself of this frustrating status and gain more power and respect! It was precisely because of this thought that the darkness before Austin's eyes gradually dissipated, allowing him to behold a massive, extraordinary entity standing before him!

This entity bore features deeply ingrained in the mind of every descendant of the Inca Empire—those Mythological characteristics belonging solely to their people. The Feathers, the headdress, the long robes; everything seemingly struck a chord deep within Austin's memories.

He abruptly fell to his knees. "Respected Crown, you must have a special request for summoning me here?"

"You may call me Kuchamama, child of the Inca Empire!" the unknown deity spoke to him with immense gentleness. "I sensed the decline of the Empire, I felt the Death of my people, and so, I have returned to this earth!"

"It is a pity that my slumber forced you to endure so much suffering!"

Hearing these words, Austin was moved beyond words. "Crown, you have finally returned, and that is wonderful news! We still have a chance, don't we?"

"Yes, we still have a chance!" Kuchamama's words seemed to carry a unique power as they washed over Austin. "Then, are you willing to sacrifice everything for the resurgence of the Empire? My High Priest?"

At those words, Austin's entire body trembled with excitement.

High Priest? He could become a High Priest? A true High Priest who could guide the rise and fall of an ethnic group, lead his people to rebuild their nation, and even stand as an equal against America?

To stand alongside High Priest Carl and become a leader of a Realm, or even multiple realms—of course, he was willing.

This was infinitely better than being a punching bag in America. Even if he was highly valued by his boss, Gao, his skin color had already determined his future Upper Limit.

"Of course I am willing, respected Crown! What should I do?" Austin declared loudly.

"A long, long time ago, we fought a protracted Divine War across this sea area against the deities of several other Divine Pantheons!" Kuchamama said casually. "It was precisely because of this War that we lost contact with your world for a full thousand years!"

"But now, with the Return of Deities, the Creator God and the Chief Gods have all come back. And the location of their return is right there, in the graveyard of that war!"

"Go, my High Priest. Go and place the Offering before you into that graveyard. Break the Seal, and the gods will fully return to this world to begin their Reckoning against all Outer Gods!"

Hearing this, Austin slowly nodded. "I will do so, Crown!"

Right at that moment, he felt an anomaly within his body. A colossal surge of power coalesced inside him, accompanied by Kuchamama's voice. "Go. I have bestowed the power of the ocean upon you. Now, you are the Priest of me, the Sea God Kuchamama!"

A look of profound, extraordinary ecstasy finally blossomed on Austin's face. He snapped his head up, only to find that he had returned from the endless darkness, standing once more on the deck of his ship.

And as he raised his hand, the ocean before him abruptly parted, bending to his very will!

It was only then that Austin truly recognized that he had become a Divine Favored. 'Then, I suppose it's time for me to go and deliver the Offering!' Austin thought silently to himself.

However, his shallow Knowledge failed to inform him of one crucial fact: neither the Inca Empire nor the entirety of the South American Deities had ever possessed a god named Kuchamama!

"Hehehe..." Unheard by anyone, at the very moment Austin made his final resolve, that Crystal Head let out an eerie chuckle!

"Who said that only the God Power and artifacts of those detestable gods remain in this ocean? We are still alive! Kukulkan! We still survive on this land, and we will eventually return to bring you destruction and Despair!"

A voice, speaking through gritted teeth, echoed across the area, simultaneously accompanied by several similar voices:

"Hehehe, who says otherwise?"

"We are all losers of the Divine War, but none of us are dead!"

"Hahahahaha!"
