From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 312: Resurrected Ancients, Return to the Americas

Chapter 312: Resurrected Ancients, Return to the Americas

Bai Yang wasn't in this country to do charity, so the historical figures he chose naturally came with his own personal bias.

These individuals needed self-will, immense power, and of course, the means to become kings.

Only then could they truly conquer and divide the land, thoroughly tearing this nation apart!

This had been Bai Yang's consistent train of thought. Japan was far too urbanized. It couldn't remain this way; it had to be partitioned, purged, and completely fractured into different factions.

It needed to return to the Warring States period to fulfill the mission of shaping the Transcendent power system!

Therefore, Bai Yang had no intention of visiting those lesser-known generals. The ones he selected were a few deeply fascinating commanders.

"Fujiwara no Michinaga!" Bai Yang arrived before a certain person. He was a powerful minister from the Heian period, a contemporary of Abe no Seimei, a veteran of three administrations, and a top-tier court noble.

In history, he was the heir to the Fujiwara clan and the true regent of that era!

Just how terrifying was this man? Three of his daughters became the empress consorts of three successive emperors, and his youngest daughter, after his death, became the empress of a fourth.

He was a minister with almost unimaginable authority, rivaling even the shoguns of the shogunate era. Under his leadership, the Fujiwara clan truly reached its absolute zenith!Of course, none of this was what Bai Yang truly cared about. His focus on this man lay in his almost cruel thirst for power!

This entire family seemed to be comprised of political monsters. They sent their daughters into the Imperial Palace, ensured the sons born of those daughters succeeded as emperors, and then had those emperors marry more daughters from the Fujiwara clan.

In a sense, this could not even be called incest anymore; it was practically a purification of the Fujiwara bloodline!

After all, these princes were all related to the Fujiwara clan, engaging in marriages between uncles and nieces, or aunts and nephews.

Under such circumstances, Fujiwara no Michinaga almost single-handedly completed the political layout of the entire imperial court. He stabilized his rule and strengthened political trust. The Fujiwara clan continued to thrive, and it wasn't until the era of Taira no Kiyomori, a century later, that their dominance finally ended.

"Such a formidable and ruthless figure certainly wouldn't just sit back and watch!" Bai Yang whispered. "Then for your power, let's choose the power of a Demon!"

Of course, he had to choose a Demon. This was perfectly normal. This family was far from benevolent; slaughter and incest were synonymous with their name, which was exactly why Bai Yang looked down on them.

And this man's history was quite easy to narrate.

Bai Yang smiled as he pulled out a book titled "The Dark History of Japan: Supplement to the Annals of Great Yokai." It was a book similar to the "Book of the Golden Crow and Jade Rabbit," also compiled entirely by Bai Yang.

If there was a historical need in the future, tossing this book out could Reshape History, fulfilling the need to perfect the background lore.

"Hmm... Fujiwara no Michinaga's power should be a cat yokai. A white-faced, golden-furred nine-tailed cat would be perfect, and it can even cross paths with the nine-tailed fox in the future!"

"As for what he needs to sustain his power... blood. Sucking blood is a natural habit of Yokai!"

"His abilities will naturally be those of a cat yokai: transformation, cunning, speed, and so on... As for his sworn enemy, since he's from the Heian period, it has to be Abe no Seimei!"

Bai Yang nodded in satisfaction. "A person like this must be far more vicious than anyone currently in this world. Otherwise, how could he suppress those modern people? You're the one!"

As his hand fell, light flickered across Fujiwara no Michinaga's body, already radiating the aura of a powerful minister. He looked around, seemingly finding his bearings, and set off in the direction of Osaka.

That city was densely populated and crawling with foreign intelligence agencies, making it a perfect place to gather information.

......

"Next, it's you!" Bai Yang spotted another figure, a military general who looked incredibly imposing!

"Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a renowned general from the late Heian period, a member of the Minamoto clan, and the legendary disciple of a Tengu. You're perfect!" Bai Yang nodded. This invincible War God of the Heian period perfectly met his requirements.

After all, in this nation, many people sympathized with his tragic fate while highly acknowledging his military command capabilities!

As long as people rallied around him, the shrine system Bai Yang designed would take effect. After all, this was a man who dabbled in both Shinto and Buddhist systems, perfectly bridging a portion of the Transcendent framework Bai Yang had crafted.

Most importantly, he possessed immense Combat Power. With it, he could claim the justification for War, and perhaps even lead his subordinates into a clash against America's military!

Bai Yang smiled to himself, wondering if Golden Hair would be willing to catch this curveball.

He probably would. After all, their overseas bases were growing too powerful to control—the tail was becoming too big to wag. If sacrificing some forces allowed Golden Hair to reassert dominance over the troops stationed there, he would definitely take that deal.

"Since your power was taught by a Tengu, let's use the Tengu's records!"

Bai Yang took out "The Dark History of Japan: Supplement to the Annals of Great Yokai" and jotted down the records concerning Minamoto no Yoshitsune:

"Hmm... Instructed by the Tengu of Mount Kurama. Naturally, they taught him martial arts, so I'll write that his skills were Transcendent! As for his military tactics, those were also taught by Gods and heavily blessed, making him extremely difficult to injure on the battlefield!"

"This kind of Combat Power and martial prowess can be taught. He will personally instruct his army, teaching them his divine martial arts so they can acquire Transcendent Power! Of course, this Transcendent Power has its limits. I'll write that Minamoto no Yoshitsune possessed a mind as calm as still water, while others do not. At most, they can train up to the level of a Blood Thrall!"

He had to control the strength and numbers of the Transcendents; they couldn't be allowed to exceed the limits.

Bai Yang smiled as he supplemented these details. It felt incredibly real to him. Recording these Transcendent events would surely grant him a massive boost in Transcendent Wish Power here.

As for the ordinary people who died in such clashes, they could only be considered expendable fodder.

When Deceased People died in other places, especially if their deaths were caused by him, Bai Yang would still feel a twinge of discomfort. But as for this nation, he could only say: good luck to them!

Minamoto no Yoshitsune also awakened. This man did not head south; instead, he chose to go north, seemingly intending to head to Hokkaido to develop his Core Support.

Bai Yang continued his designing. Historical figures with renowned names and legends—powerful ministers and great generals like Taira no Kiyomori, Taira no Masakado, Kusunoki Masashige, and Kitabatake Akiie—were all summoned by him. Transformed into Supernatural Creatures, they began to expand their own factions within this nation.

Some of them belonged to the imperial family's forces, others represented the pinnacle of ministerial power, and some held the backing of Buddhist factions. They were varied and diverse, but the sole commonality among them was that they all possessed the power to spread Transcendent capabilities!

"Now the crisis has been established, and the Hundred Demon Night Parade will continue to brew. Hope has arrived. These ancients, along with the current Onmyoji, swordsmen, and the soon-to-return Buddhist Monks, will compose a magnificent Transcendent symphony!" Bai Yang said with a smile. "It's just that this will take some time!"

He couldn't squeeze the Wish Power here too hard, either, or problems would arise. Having finished his designs, Bai Yang glanced at a certain Old Man still living on the streets and smiled faintly.

"It's not yet time for him to take the stage. No rush, no rush!"

"Alright, Alvin, we're heading back to America!" Having completed these arrangements and leaving the Transcendent forces to continue brewing, Bai Yang finally accomplished his Faith Sealing the Nation plan on this planet.

From now on, even if more beings from the Dylan Continent arrived, they would have no way to find any flaws.

They would only lose themselves in the endless Wish Power, believing they had accidentally stumbled into the territory of another unique Divine Pantheon.

Only at this point did Bai Yang finally breathe a sigh of relief. His core foundation in this world had officially been established.

Next, it was time to join in on the recent commotion in America!

Bai Yang floated in the air, gradually crossing the landmass and flying parallel toward the opposite shore of the ocean.

With the level of authority he now held, he no longer needed airplanes; flying on his own was much faster!

During the flight, Bai Yang casually called out, "Alvin."

"Yes, Crown!" Alvin nodded. A Tablet appeared in his hands, and acting just like a true butler, he began briefing Bai Yang on the recent events occurring in the Americas.

"The Catholic Church is currently purging its personnel. It's a very lengthy process. Bishop Bennett Angus stated that he would rather have a shortage of staff than compromise on quality, aiming to resolve the Corruption and lack of faith within the Church from its very roots!"

"Meanwhile, the Native Americans are currently in the Mexico region, attempting to reclaim their holy city and complete the expansion of their Faith! This has provoked the ire of local drug cartels because the divine codex unearthed by these indigenous people explicitly lists drugs as a Taboo, firmly forsaken by Kui Zhaerketeyaer, the Feathered Serpent God, and numerous other Deities!"

"Oh? You mean this group is waging War against the drug cartels?" Bai Yang asked out of Curiosity. "What's the underlying reason?"

This definitely wasn't the cartels' own initiative. What kind of grand schemes could drug traffickers have? Someone had to be fanning the flames from behind the scenes!

"There really is. America and many South American countries are involved, though their intentions differ!" Alvin explained. "America wants to weaken these people's power, while the South American nations want to test the waters to see if these Native Americans intend to establish an independent nation, or if they are purely doing this for their faith!"

"Understood. If it's just faith, there's room for negotiation. But if it's nation-building, there's nothing to discuss!" Bai Yang nodded lightly. "America seems to be having too easy of a time, aren't they? Demons, Werewolves, and Vampires still haven't forced them to focus entirely on their domestic issues? It seems we were too light-handed!"

He tapped his fingers rhythmically. "It's time for us to return to that continent and continue our plans! That nation is our original testing ground. We can't let them sit idle!"

Bai Yang's silhouette streaked across the sky, having already crossed halfway over the Pacific Ocean!
