From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 208: One Punishes, One Condemns

Chapter 208: One Punishes, One Condemns

It was still two individuals facing a crowd, still occupying incredibly elderly bodies. Yet, the moment that voice resonated, the situation underwent an earth-shattering transformation!

The two angels, named Eve and Anlamile, had already completed their Divine Descent by the time the two cardinals stood up.

These two names had never even appeared in The Bible, yet they still caused the vampires before them to subconsciously take two steps back.

Everyone's eyes darted around, and their emotions seemed to undergo a drastic shift in this very moment. They were already thinking about how to escape!

Who would want to fight these lunatics from Heaven! They were not stupid!

Ultimately, vampires were not truly insane, and these vampires who had awakened from ancient eras were even less so.

Blood had filled their withered bodies, allowing them to return from ancient times. It also reinvigorated their once-ethereal desires, making them want to continue their previously unfinished journeys.

But with the appearance of the Wings of Holy Light, the fear buried deep within their blood and memories returned alongside the arrival of the angels!

What were vampires? They were the offspring of Cain, the legacy of Lilith, and a Dark Race that demons could manipulate. However, they had never been the main force of evil.

The true main forces were those believers of Demon Gods, Infernal Overlords, and emissaries of Evil Gods. As for vampires and werewolves, the powerful ones could indeed contend with angels, but it was merely contending. No matter whose written history one consulted, they failed to rank highly for the majority of the time. After all, they were facing the world's largest religion!

And the performance of the two angels before them was exactly as they had expected!

The Punishing Angel named Eve was the first to speak. She gazed indifferently at the many dark creatures before her, even sweeping her eyes around the area before declaring, "Attacking the city, invading the church, defiling the Holy Land, and blaspheming the Lord!"

"You have committed unforgivable sins. I, the Punishing Angel Eve, hereby issue my ruling: your sins are exceedingly grave, and the decree of punishment shall be clan annihilation!"

The words were light, merely a faint whisper, yet the words carried immense weight. Everyone who directed their gaze here could hear them clearly.

This was a statement of condemnation of sin, and it was also a declaration of absolute power!

These were the angels under God's throne, and this was their power—still as overbearing and ruthless as ever. Since the enemy had come knocking on their door, they had to strike back in the most ruthless manner possible, letting everyone know that the Lord's saintly figures were not to be lightly insulted!

As the words fell, a radiant light descended from the sky, landing directly beside these vampires and binding their bodies.

The power of a Punishing Angel was not just in words. It was also in binding and ruling. When you truly stood there waiting for the verdict, the real ruling had already begun.

"I... I can't move!" The vampires were bound and tried to struggle, only to be scalded into a scene of chaos and panic by the boiling holy light wrapped around them.

No matter which vampire it was, or what method they used to struggle, it all seemed futile and ridiculous in the face of this binding.

With just this single move, the angels had already revealed their absolute strength and dominance!

"You are the first batch!"

After Eve finished speaking, she stepped back. Naturally, it was now time for Anlamile to take the stage.

"The Condemning Angel... Condemnation of sin..." The footage of this scene was naturally broadcast to various countries, appearing before the high-level officials of the world.

The reporters and agents, withstanding endless pressure, transmitted the images and audio back, causing those dignitaries and high-level officials who possessed more inside information to shiver uncontrollably!

After all, people who had done many wrong things—even if they acted as judges themselves—would still feel fear when looking upon a true judge.

This was especially true for the high-level officials in California. Those who had watched the footage of the condemnation of sin at the Garden Cathedral from within the secret room of the Police Department felt an even deeper resonance of anxiety.

This group of people sitting around Nuland unanimously thought of Gabriel's journey of condemnation. It was just that his opponent had been the Archdemon and fallen angel Lucifer, making the tempo of that event quite different.

Meanwhile, in the city of Milan, in front of the cathedral, the angel named Anlamile—meaning "beautiful and wonderful"—an angel serving under Gabriel who held the authority over the condemnation of sin, was currently unleashing his own power!

The first to bear the brunt of it were the vampires who had been jumping around the most joyfully just moments ago. The angels who descended upon the two cardinals clearly retained their hosts' memories, so they were incredibly decisive and ruthless when making their move.

A staff appeared in his hand, followed by a prayer: "You are the Lord of Hosts. You send down Divine Thunder, leaving all evil with nowhere to hide!"

An angel's prayer was naturally quite different from a mortal's. As this prayer fell, lightning flashed, transforming the staff in his hand into a sword.

The Thunder Sword, flashing with lightning, seemed capable of judging all sins in the mortal realm, intimidating everyone who laid eyes upon its electric glow. And that vampire whose arm had just been severed became the first test subject for the blade. The Condemning Angel named Anlamile slowly approached him, wielding the Thunder Sword;

"I condemn you of sin, and punish your soul with thunderous punishment!"

"Crackle..." The bright lightning in his hands morphed into tangible punishment, striking the vampire before him and drawing out a resounding wail of agony!

"Aargh!" he shrieked. His body twisted and struggled within the lightning, but he could not escape. He could only helplessly experience this torment for what felt like an eternity!

"I can't take this anymore!" he roared loudly. Experiencing soul severance, his spirit broke free from his body. Amidst endless struggling, he chose to descend to Hell!

After all, he was a dark creature with deep ties to Hell. A fiery Hell Vortex instantly materialized beside him, preparing to drag his soul to that place of lava and brimstone!

However, as luck would have it, before the angel even made a move, this vampire couldn't resist spitting out some harsh parting words. "Angel, just you wait! I will grow stronger in Hell until the day I invade the Celestial Realm!"

In truth, everyone knew this was just an empty threat. After all, even the Infernal Overlords hadn't managed to invade Heaven Mountain. On what basis could a lowly soul in Hell accomplish such a feat?

"Boom!" Anlamile struck down with a bolt of lightning, blasting the trash-talking vampire until his soul scattered and annihilated, leaving all the spectators staring with frozen expressions!

"Noisy!" he declared, raising his sword to point at the next vampire, continuing his condemnation of sin.

Meanwhile, the Hell Vortex that had just opened up slowly dissipated into nothingness under the might of that lightning strike!

At this moment, the numerous remaining vampires thoroughly despised that guy who just had to show off.

If you're going to leave, just leave! Why spout empty threats before going? Now you've completely cut off everyone's escape route! You truly deserve to die!

Thus, the second and third vampires didn't even have the chance to release their souls before they were electrocuted into charred husks, marching toward death amidst endless agony and wails.

This filled the remaining vampires with an even deeper sympathy for one's similar plight, and a growing sense of panic.

They knew that the angel before them was actually capable of striking them all dead in a single instant, but he deliberately chose not to. Instead, he used this method to show everyone that the Lord could not be lightly insulted!

All the spectators felt a profound resonance of anxiety. They had originally tuned in with the intention of watching the Church make a fool of itself, but now, that thought was completely gone, replaced only by fear toward this group of beings!

"We can't just passively await defeat like this!" one vampire could no longer hold back and yelled loudly. "We have to find a way, or the entire Tzimisce clan is going to die here!"

They were all bound so tightly that they couldn't even pull their hands free, yet they still refused to give up on finding a way to survive. Thus, the group exchanged glances, no longer hesitated, and began to pray in low voices:

"Our clan is the womb polyp torn from you by Yahweh!

The shameful blood scab stuck to the hem of the divine robes!

Command the rotted flesh to multiply!

Order the corrupted blood to surge back!

Make our bones bloom into the most seductive bone coral in Hell!

Oh, Lilith, ancestor of our clan!

Please send down your crimson lotus fire and open a path of survival for us..."

This was their final resort, because every time they offered a sacrifice to Lilith, they needed to collect enough blood, hatred, and fear to pay the price for the sacrifice. And this time, they had no offerings, which meant that they themselves were the offerings!

So be it. Becoming an offering was still better than being judged by Heaven and having one's soul scattered and annihilated...

The numerous vampires waited anxiously. They could sense the completion of this sacrifice, and they held great expectation for Lilith's response.

However, they waited from the third vampire being killed all the way to the thirteenth, yet there was still no reaction whatsoever!

What was going on? The vampires of the Tzimisce clan were dumbfounded!

'This isn't right. In past sacrifices, regardless of the occasion, Crown Lilith's response had always been very swift. Why is there not even a reply this time?'

'Crown Lilith, please respond to your faithful!'
