Chapter 635: We Are a Team

Morning, seven o’clock.

As soon as the alarm clock rang for the first time, Nora Northwood opened her eyes. She reached for her phone on the bedside table, turned off the set alarm, and then slowly and carefully got out of bed to start her washing routine.

Girls tend to be meticulous and take their time getting ready, so they start a bit earlier.

When she came out again, Jasper Sinclair just opened his eyes and asked, "Why didn’t you wake me up together?"

"No rush. You can sleep a bit more."

After speaking to him, Nora turned and slipped into the walk-in closet to pick out a set of climbing clothes for herself.

Also, she packed up things that needed to be taken.

The team building was two days and one night. They had booked a hotel on the mountain, and they would take a look at the sunrise and sunset of the city.

When Nora said she was halfway packed, Jasper leisurely got up.

"Take your time. I’ll take the things downstairs first."

"Have breakfast first, no need to wait for me."

When Nora went downstairs, the kitchen auntie was setting their breakfast on the table.

"Auntie, thank you for getting up so early."

Due to the outing, the aunt responsible for meals got up an hour earlier than usual.

So, she brought out a cup of hot milk from the kitchen and handed it to her, "Mr. Sinclair instructed this hot milk and added some sugar."

Before the auntie finished her bustling, she miraculously took out several insulated food boxes, explaining, "You and Sir can take these in the car. There are sandwiches, some snacks, and freshly squeezed juice inside."

While the auntie spoke, Jasper Sinclair appeared from the stairway corner, already dressed.

Rarely did he forgo his suit and tie look and wore a light gray casual outfit, which was just right in both fabric texture and comfort.

Nora, seeing this, gave a few comments: "You look younger like this. Wear it more often!"

Wearing a suit all day makes you look like a real estate salesperson, but luckily, Jasper’s exceptional temperament allows people to associate him with a high-level CEO.

"Are you praising me or teasing me?"

The man responded to her while pulling out a chair to sit down for breakfast.

Nora arrogantly raised her chin and said, "Of course, I’m praising you."

During the breakfast, she couldn’t help but glance at Jasper a few more times.

Humans indeed have a bias towards beautiful things and attractive looks.

The driver drove a Cullinan car.

Openly mingling among the working crowd, not feeling ostentatious, Rhys Linden was the same.

Capitalists can never understand the amount of effort workers need to put in to own a luxury car.

The envious eyes in the crowd prompted Nora to invite everyone with a smile, "Who wants to join us?"

They expressed admiration with words, but their feet dared not take a step forward.

Firstly, they feared Jasper Sinclair’s aura; secondly, they didn’t want to disturb the couple’s harmonious life.

Finnian Lawrence invited Lily Sloan to join, but was rejected.

Nora, quick-witted, persuaded several people driving cars to park in the parking lot and take the bus together to the foot of the mountain.
