Chapter 249: Bypassing force? I’m a cheater

Kaiser stood opposite Gaga, the Deathstalkers held loosely in a way they screamed danger.

Gaga shot a glance at the blades, then smiled at Kaiser.

"Do you truly think you can best me?"

The blue-haired boy nodded. "It is not a matter of thoughts. It is what I can do."

Suddenly, he vanished. Gaga’s lips parted in a grin, and he suddenly punched to his left.

Boom!

A shockwave flowed out from the simple punch, twisting the air violently.

Realizing that he had hit nothing, Gaga was a little surprised. He looked up, only to see Kaiser’s boots rapidly growing wider in his vision.

Bang!

The boy’s boots slammed into the space where Gaga had been standing.

Some distance away, Gaga’s golden eyes shone. "Impressive."

The two clashed again.

This time, Gaga initiated the attack, rushing at Kaiser while throwing devastating punches.

Without delay, Kaiser activated Eyes of Sequence, immediately seeing the network of attacks that were previously invisible.

’So it’s force, huh?’

Solidifying this thought, he nimbly dodged the waves and appeared beside the boy.

A dagger swept towards his neck in a blur.

Unexpectedly, Gaga’s golden eyes traced his movements, and his left hand rose to block Kaiser’s attack.

Clang!

The dagger failed to pierce the gauntlet, but Kaiser wasn’t worried.

Instead, he retreated and paused.

"Let’s see... your gauntlets are to help you contain the devastating powers your hands carry, no?"

Gaga’s eyes narrowed. "Oh? You guessed that?"

"It’s a bit tricky, but yeah. I’m curious to see your full power though."

Kaiser answered with a thoughtful expression.

"Is that so? I will only use one hand and only once. If you can’t survive that, then it is meaningless."

Dismissing the gauntlet around his left hand, Gaga clenched his fist.

The air around the hand wobbled and bent, as if struggling to be in the same place as that hand.

"Get ready."

His smile disappeared, and he looked at Kaiser solemnly.

’I’ve heard of how strong you are...but sometimes, strength differs. If it’s only skills and fighting prowess you have, then I’m afraid you won’t be able to overpower me.’

As he took a stance, legs spread apart, torso shifted vertically, and right arm drawn back, the air around his fist thrummed with energy.

Then, he moved. "Execution."

Woop—BOOM!

The wall trembled, and the ground he was standing on cracked. From about a meter in front of him, a crater was formed, starting from the size of his fist and enlarging into something that covered the width of the wall.

Debris, rocks, and dust flew up, obscuring Gaga’s view of Kaiser.

He closed his eyes and listened patiently, waiting to hear a pained grunt or the sound of his punch’s shockwave hitting something.

However, after a few seconds, there was none, forcing him to open his eyes.

’Did he dodge in time?’

Through the dust, he saw the silhouette of a person standing in a relaxed pose.

"Hm? You blocked it?" He was shocked and distressed, wondering if he hadn’t executed the punch properly.

The dust cleared, and Kaiser looked completely unharmed.

He still held the Deathstalkers, but his posture was relaxed. Too relaxed.

Gaga frowned. When Kaiser had first stood opposite him to fight, he could sense some tension in his body.

Now,vhowever, he could no longer sense any tension from Kaiser.

"How did you do it? There’s no way you should have been able to withstand that."

Kaiser took a step forward, then another.

"Let’s see..." His voice was slow and cool. "I didn’t withstand it. I simply cheated."

"Cheated?" Gaga was confused.

"Your ability works on the law of amplification, right? Amplifying force by several folds."

Gaga remained silent, neither confirming nor denying it.

Kaiser continued anyway. "While amplification is quite a modest law, it’s not easy to bypass. It’s different with Force. That one... I can surely bypass."

Chuckling, Gaga raised his head to the read clouds.

"You can bypass force? Very well, let’s see how this will go."

Suddenly, he dashed at Kaiser, throwing a swift punch at the boy’s torso.

Kaiser didn’t bother dodging. He simply let the punch hit him squarely in the chest.

Bang!

Although the sound of hitting something was loud, Gaga felt strange.

He had felt the energy and force of his attack pass through Kaiser and do no damage.

He didn’t even feel the counterforce from hitting Kaiser.

Kaiser could read the disbelief and puzzlement in his expression, so he comforted him.

"You’re a strong person. I doubt many can defend against you. It’s just that my ability makes me a cheat for the likes of you."

Hearing this, Gaga’s focus returned to Kaiser, and he nodded.

"I still want to see how much you can bypass before your essence runs out."

Grinning, he dashed at Kaiser again, resuming their devastating clash.

On the ground below, Hazel repeatedly clashed with Yamada. In every exchange, she managed to withstand his attacks and even push him back a few times.

"Hah! I never expected a strong woman other than that girl Thyra. This is so exciting!"

He roared, bringing his hammer down on her.

Hazel didn’t dare block, knowing gravity would be on his side. She immediately pivoted to the side, avoiding the catastrophic hit.

Boom!

The group quaked and sand was thrown up. She immediately covered her eyes to avoid getting blinded by the particles carried by the shockwave.

"Hey! Don’t run!"

Yamada shouted, then immediately turned to her, picking up his weapon and charging like a war maniac.

Exasperated, Hazel gripped her battle-axe tightly, then swung its him.

Yamada did likewise.

The hammer and the battle-axe met midair, releasing a deafening clang. Both students moved away from each other, their arms trembling from the counterforce of each other’s attacks.

"You’re strong, Hazel! Why don’t you come to Class-A? I’m sure that if I talk with Adela, we can work on how to bring you over to us."

Hearing such absurd words, Hazel snorted.

"Are you really this simple-minded? Sigh. You know nothing about your leader then."

Without dwelling on that topic, she dashed at him again, her battle-axe ignited with fiery flames.
