Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 943 - 942 - Reflection

Chapter 943 - 942 - Reflection

It had been a long time since Lind had suffered such major injuries. He had been hurt and had to withstand attacks but never had his defense been so totally breached in millennia.

His tail was gone for the moment but it could easily be regrown in time. His blood was a bit thin so he felt dizzy too. He downed several elixirs as he reflected the dichotomy of his counterpart.

She seemed to have been ruled by the instincts of her tiger soul where he had chosen to forge his own path. Dragons were notoriously arrogant and easy to prick their pride but to anger them was rather difficult.

It would be more accurate to say they found other races annoying.

They also defaulted to wiping out nuisances even if most people would see it as overkill.

White tigers, on the other hand, could be a bit more frivolous but no less violent as they had all come to learn. There were some more problematic issues, however.

According to all the intel Cyntilla gathered, the most likely identity of the tigress was a native of the Heaven Realm lands. How did she become a 6 elemental? The records he had been able to research while limited about soul rebirth, all agreed the soul would retain its elements and perhaps gain the primary element related to the particular version they were acknowledged by.

For instance, if Lind had only 2 elements, he may have picked up a third or fourth related to dragons but no more than that.

Ethry confirmed in her race memory that no dragon soul had ever become a 6 elemental yet he knew a harmony when he felt one. That tigress had one for certain!

It gave him something to ponder as he recovered from his injuries.

He had some experience with transforming a cultivator from a normal dantian to a 6 elemental one but it was due to his direct interference. Tessa had been dying and when he healed her, she became a demonic 6 elemental.

He was fairly safe in saying no 6 elemental was involved and the complete lack of contact with the white tigers previously also made it unlikely his theories had spread to the rest of the Heaven Realm lands until extremely recently.

The Silverthorn Fangs were billions of years old and had saved their youths over a million years ago from the Cataclysm.

It meant there was at least a million years of history like all the other races that had been able to flee before the end.

The 6 elemental cultivators could only be born in the mortal realms due to the density of Qi and the time needed for a Body Refining Realm to develop was much shorter as you ascended the realms.

The less time meant the less chance for comprehension. It was key to–

Lind's eyes shot open as there was an exception!

"Innate Cultivator!" It was his own Talent that had kept aiding him at each step. He instinctively could feel the way forward now but back then it was like rocket fuel to everything up to the Sky Realm.

If a Heaven Realm cultivator was born with that talent, it was possible they could have been a 6 elemental!

He would have to study the conditions but it was the only way! It opened his eyes to new possibilities but the confluence of Talents and opportunity were so rare that someone like the tigress could only occur once in a billion years!

It was all a thought experiment without answers but it was terrifying how powerful she was. She was the first being he had met on par with himself!

Still, the differences were stark. She had truly followed the flow of the tiger instincts and the Silverthorn Fangs as well. Yet, if she was a progenitor, she could not be the same as them. The homing attack was unique to her, for instance.

Not a single Silverthorn Fang had ever used such an attack.

Also, her attitude was aligned with the tigers that once she learned what he had done, her excitement had been replaced with true rage. They were already destined to fight to the death, but he was questioning how much control such a being had.

Was she being dominated by the tiger soul?

He doubted he could ever know but he also knew one more thing about her. She was a weaver.

It was the only way she could shred his Law Weavings so easily.

She was also a peak mid grade 7 weaver at least.

He had not been able to warn Ethry of that but he did warn her his Law Weavings were destroyed by her.

It was now beyond his concern as the special realm he had constructed was stabilizing around him. It was totally isolated from the Celestial Fields at the moment but he had left a trace behind for his own escape once he was done.

Unlike his previous attempt, the current space was self-sustaining thanks to the Laws he had used to build it. It was also more malleable.

He looked down from his position and saw what was essentially gravity working on the mass of soil and stone being created from earth and darkness elements. It was fascinating watching the process.

Was that how mortal realms were born? He also had incorporated all 18 elements so it was not as simple as just the 6 elements making up a special realm.

He had encountered a few of those but he realized the feeling of his realm was a weaker version of the Divine Inheritances he had encountered!

Time was a variable he could control so he sped up the process massively but left his personal time alone. The once empty blackness slowly filled with a massive desert but then a sun was born to his shock!

He kept watching as storms followed before a vibrant and living place began to slowly come to life!

Yet, no aether beasts or children appeared. He also felt no Elementals.

Why? What was missing? He was not so arrogant as to believe he could create a special realm with such an ability but it made him curious about the conditions for it.

Time was brought back to an even keel and he began to evaluate the current state.

[Master, nothing here is artificial! I have no record of such a base being used for an Immortal Inheritance ever!] Haro spoke up suddenly and Lind summoned him with Protean.

The 2 spirits were vastly different as the older dark skinned man with his pale robes loomed over the shorter childlike Protean.

The 3 people looked around in awe but the cause was different for each.

Protean felt connected to everything around him like the traces of the Qi were siblings to him. Haro simply could not believe a Shard Tier could create an Inheritance foundation that was so powerful while being so simple.

Lind felt like something came into focus as he saw the flow of Qi around Protean and Haro react in vastly different ways.

His hands moved of their own volition and the young forest shifted to his will but no destruction was caused. Roots, soil, and brush shifted smoothly like clay to organize into simple paths and clearings as he desired.

Haro whipped his bald head around but Protean assumed a lotus position as his power was rising as they looked on!

"How did you do that, Master?!" Lind barely heard the question but he also wanted to understand. His mind worked quickly as he began to understand.

"The Laws here originate from me. This place is built on my comprehension thus far of Laws, Qi, and elements. We are one. It is like transforming into a dragon. I just know how to move it all without damaging it." There were restrictions but he could overcome some of them.

The old Law of Conservation still held but he had brought all the materials he planned to use.

Haro slowly nodded but felt like he was no longer the expert of the group at that moment. Lind had finally begun to move into areas he could not follow at all.

"I am going to start to build the trials. It will take quite some time but this place should be safe for you both to stretch out. I also need to experiment with a few to finalize them." Lind was about to summon some materials when Haro stopped him.

"Before you begin to build, Master, you should decide on entrance conditions. Will the Inheritance move or will it be able to be called? Will it stay in the Celestial Fields or roam all the realms? The Laws are not set yet but they will be if you delay." His words enlightened Lind but he was long prepared for that part.

He changed his focus to the border of the realm and confirmed Haro was correct. He instantly began to weave with all 18 elements like the master he was.

He was not limited to mid grade 7 inside the realm but he did not push his luck in case Heaven and Earth took exception to him bending the rules.

Complex sigils that blazed with new Laws Haro could not understand were connected with traces infused with even more Laws! How many Laws had Lind grasped?!

What was he seeing?! Law Weaving was entirely outside his understanding as a Divine Tool Spirit.

Such a thing should not be possible but there it was. Protean broke through and actually looked like a teenager. His emerald hair was very similar to Lind's but his eyes were clear pools of swirling energy.

"Creator, I wish to stay in this place!" Lind smiled and nodded but did not stop what he was doing.

Haro slowly felt the special realm shift and settle yet he could also feel like it could move once certain conditions were met.

"It is done. Once I have finished, the Inheritance will be able to be summoned, move to the right conditions, and still be accessed from the Celestial Fields every 10,000 years." Haro was curious about the interval but knew he would wait till it was all done.

"Now then, let's get started." Massive piles of metal, wood, crystal, and more appeared as an area cleared out for it all. The sheer scale would cause many merchant groups and sects to suffer collective heart attacks just to see the grade 7 materials!

Even Haro, knowing what was in the ring, never realized all of it was for the Inheritance. What was his Master building?! The scale of it was just taking shape for the spirits as Lind began to lay it all out.
