Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 772 - 771 - Humiliation

Chapter 772 - 771 - Humiliation

Ulta was smirking at the cowering humans.  It felt so much better to dominate the inferior creatures after her defeat at the hands of Divine Karma.

Initially, they had tried to test the limits of the insufferable ant's words only to watch Melar die begging to cross out of the village.  Ulta refused and all 3 of them watched Heaven and Earth rip him apart.

Only anger was left in her as she was forced out of her place of power and her true path!

The outer world was full of annoying insects, especially human males.  They seemed to think they were the spirits' gift to all women.

She had enjoyed the fact she could still use her full physical strength against the fools.  The lucky ones just had a broken arm, the others stained walls with their blood as that was all that was left!

It had caused some issues but it led to a happy accident.

Out of instinct, she reached out to the elements to control them and all the cultivators suddenly lost all their Qi based abilities.  It did not matter if it was an artifact or their own person, it was all gone!

Uri and Elara could do it as well but Sliver Tiers could resist if they were strong enough.  Ulta shut them all down entirely, even the same Tier as her!

The pathetic creatures were hers to play with once more!  She still could not use her Qi at all, but her natural connection to the elements was unaffected!

First a village was conquered and an example made by a meddling Immortal.  Without Arts or weapons working, even an Immortal was just fodder to them.  More, the elemental control extended to the soul as well.

The Qi and soul were fused so when she interfered, it fractured when the soul strained to break free.

She had been very pleased with that discovery!

Yet, she then was humbled not long after.  The sheer power of the combined Alliance powers was terrifying.

While she could shut down cultivators in a certain range, the power of Shard Tiers were not to be underestimated.  Further, the supreme powers had access to Ruins and Relics that could unleash power above Ulta.

She hated having to pull back but she did learn she could conquer the pathetic human sect bothering her!

She then gave her order.

[All members and citizens under the Molten Sect are now mine.  If any of you are connected to Lind Frey, you have 3 days to leave!}

She would have preferred keeping that information more secure but she had to abide by the terms the Alliance left her.  That woman, despite being unable to use her Arts, was still a powerful warrior.

Valkyrie was ready to flatten Ulta, Uri, and Elara but apparently there were procedures for previously unknown cultivators coming to the Alliance.  It was well known how cultivators were without the threat of the Fiends before the war.

The actions of Ulta back then would hardly raise an eyebrow unless the Molten Sect was an ally of a supreme power.

Only then would aid be sure to come and only if the sect had been useful to the supreme sect on a consistent basis.

Thus, it was wrong to severely punish a new arrival that could be a place without Fiends.  They were acting normally and while the Alliance suppressed infighting, it could not expect all members to sympathize with each other.

They still had to compensate the Alliance for losses, which Ulta was forced to give for that blasted Immortal she killed.  Yet, so long as she simply conquered the Molten Sect, there was actually little the Alliance could do.

The rules were to allow Immortals to leave if they wished as they were critical to the war effort but anything else was allowed to an extent.  A scorched earth approach was forbidden but normal battle was not.

Ulta did not mind as she enjoyed the futile resistance of the ants seeing their sect being destroyed before their eyes.  She would use the resources to find a way to unlock her full power once more.

There had to be a way!

He had overlooked her natural gift so perhaps there were other loopholes she could use!

"Bored!"  Uri was lounging on a hammock strung up in their current quarters.  It was a rather large complex in the city of Irdim.  There had been an overseer living there with his family, but they were all in the dungeons now.

Ulta had no desire to emulate the pathetic humans but the dungeons were her only alternative to simply killing the useless ones.

It was one of those pesky rules.

"Your entertainment is not my concern.  Go join Elara and stay out of my way."  Uri frowned at that.

"I would rather not see or hear that at all."  Even Ulta could only agree.

Elara had found a distraction among the more foolish young men of the city.  Once the other 2 learned of it, they wanted nothing to do with it.  The humans seemed to enjoy themselves for the most part.

Some had been bed ridden afterwards but no one died that they knew of. Not that they cared.  There were many women that were upset about something but they did not care about that at all.

"M–my liege, there is an army approaching from the west."  A shivering man in ragged robes knelt in the room with them.  Ulta had zero care for how the humans survived, she only wanted resources and power.

"What is their realm?"  Ulta was busy reviewing the treasury contents as the man nervously described a mere 30,000 strong Heaven Realm army.

Even restricted as she and the others were, those were just ants.

"T-they were led by an Immortal at the Sliver Tier I believe."  That perked up her ears.  Who would dare violate the rules of the Alliance so blatantly?

"Did they identify themselves?"  She now looked directly at the shivering man.  Useless, all of them.

"T–t–t–t–the S–s–s–s–s–anctuary–"  He was openly sweating when Ulta snapped his head off!  The cursed ant had come after her once again!

"KILL THEM ALL!"  The Alliance rules stated she could defend herself and there was no one that could not see that it was an attack coming!

Uri snapped up with a smile and spun the hammock into a small black ball of cloth before heading to the open doorway.

She had only taken a step when sigils blazed with a weaving sealing off the 2 doors and all the windows in the room!

An Immortal man then walked around the corner with a sneer.  His square jaw and dark eyes were hard to not find irritating as his fine maroon robes were emblazoned with an emerald dragon!

"How dare you?!"  Ulta could still use her aura but Gravis hardly felt it behind the barrier.

"Emperor Lind was right, you have no teeth."  Ulta sneered as she resonated with the elements to disperse the barrier but was shocked when nothing happened!

She tried her hardest but the shimmering flicker of the elements remained.  Her physical strength also could not dent it but it was clearly only grade 6!

What was going on?!

"You can either come along quietly or we will take you like your companion."  Gravis' words aggravated her more but Uri stunningly held up her hands.

Her slim form stepped forward.

"I already know that man enough to know he sent you with a plan.  I will surrender."  She sounded frustrated but serious!  She betrayed Ulta!

"How dare you–"  Ulta got her by the back of the neck which made Uri panic.  A single squeeze and Uri was dead!  They were not like humans, if their Soul Core was damaged, they would die instantly!

"Ulta–don't–"  Ulta's shimmering eyes looked coldly at Uri and smiled as she went to squeeze when chains snapped around her like a cage!

"I can't have you killing someone under our care."  Gravis never moved but 3 Heaven Realms appeared around him.  There were 2 women and one man.  Further, they closed with a light that felt sickening familiar!

Harmonies!

One woman was gold, the other was orange, and the man was blue.  Their serious faces never wavered as they clearly controlled the chains.  How were they holding her?!

The chains were of simple make but were peak grade 6 while moving like snakes to encircle her arms, wrists, ankles, and thighs!  She was then trussed up like an animal on a hunt with her arms and legs linked behind her back!

No matter how much strength she put into her body, it simply creaked the chains at most!

"I am afraid I will need to put this on you, Fellow Daoist."  Uri rubbed her neck as a bracelet snapped into place on the other.  Instantly, all Immortal aura vanished.

How were they doing all that so easily?!

"Supreme Commander, The Chains of Sealing are holding well but we will maintain them to be safe."  The woman with a golden harmony spoke up.  Her eyes were as gold as the energy she wielded.  In fact, all their eyes matched their harmony!

"Good, levitate her and we will escort her out to the other one.  Let the people see their tyranny is over."  Ulta tried to twist and turn but it did nothing save make her clothes dislodge more!

She was carried out like a beast on a pole with the Qi floating her out of the complex.  She saw the disheveled but recovering Overseer and his family crying in relief as other Heaven Realms assisted the injured or weakened cultivators.

They all cheered as she joined a partially naked Elara who was hanging her head in shame.  Clearly they had caught her during her 'activities' but had not cared one whit about her state.

[People of the Molten Sect!  At the request of your elders, we have come to remove the threat to your livelihoods and peace.  Emperor Frey of the Sanctuary Empire also offers free elixirs to compensate for your troubles for 1 year.  Please feel free to come to any branch of our guilds and we will help you!]

Ulta raged as she realized not only was she trussed up like an animal in front of the ants but Lind Frey was benefiting from it!

She screamed and all the cultivators cheered so it was drowned out.  The ultimate humiliation that no one cared about her at all only began to sink in at that moment.
