Despite the war and various responsibilities as Emperor, Lind never stopped looking ahead. His unique issue of harmony aside, the step between Moon Tier and Sun Tier was close to the gap between World Realm to Sky Realm.
For normal cultivators, it was a fusion of their relatively new secondary elements with their primary elements. It was a process to make the disparate parts become whole. The process naturally transformed the moon into a sun.
The furnace would churn as the elements kept flowing into the sun to feed it and make it grow. The elements would continue to fuse inside it as well until what was just barely balanced in the Star and Moon Tiers becomes truly balanced.
It was why becoming an Immortal Realm was so difficult. The Sun Tier was the make or break point for cultivators.
Even if one could make it into that tier, the fusion process may never reach the critical stage of being complete so they could face their Immortal Tribulation.
Pills, Inheritances, and Ruins were scoured across the lands to help overcome that obstacle, but 6 elementals once again reared the unfairness of their makeup. The extreme difficulty of the Soul Realm was balanced out by the ease of the Heaven Realm.
"Heaven really is fair, it seems." Lind spoke out loud as he filled his moon to the brim with Qi. It was no longer only the natural elements, but fusion points of demonic Qi flared as well.
He saw the relationship of how demonic elements were refined by Celestial Qi transforming natural Qi. He wondered when it had happened or if natural sources had already existed and cultivators simply tried to match them.
He pushed his questions away as his meridians and moon finally felt full to bursting. The key step was finally ready.
He could hold no more Qi and now had to begin to fuse it all. He looked at his moon's surface very carefully.
The large and small craters of each element were now connected in a circular flow pattern across it. Between the molten craters of fire to the soaring peaks of earth were glittering roads of metal. Not a single metal, but all metals from grades 1 through 6!
It was the key Lind had discovered. Trying to make the element he had viewed in some demons never worked but connecting it to the world he Forged with did.
It was not wrong to say that his professions made up as much of those connections as the pure metals. The pattern repeated with wondrous areas on his moon to deadly waste lands when it came to poison and acid.
The trickiest part had been light Qi variants. Dark light was not a concept that was easy to grasp. It was illumination where the sun could never reach nor was it as simple as a sun with all wavelengths of light.
Lind had to play with water and light for a long time to refine the demonic wavelengths. Blue fire had been a nightmare.
Fire and light make lightning without much effort anymore, so to make demonic fires was far more difficult!
That was the key to it all though, aside from the combinations to their neighbors, Lind also had to use the poles to connect to opposite sides.
The large swaths of demonic Qi were capped by the natural combinations of each element to the others Lind had comprehended over his nearly 1600 years of life.
In the relative scale of things, he was quite young. He knew he had faced far more than most but others had struggled through harrowing experiences as well. Many had died that he called friends and would never advance again as well.
He had survived and now fused all that experience into his harmony. It was the step he had struggled with the most.
Compared to the elements, moving his harmony to the next Tier was like carrying the world. His harmony had to become the sun!
Just as his harmony had become the moon, he had to now transform it into the sun. While that seemed impossible since no one had done it before, Lind had something to rely on. A concept from Earth.
It was about terraforming and George had made him go into extreme detail about the real science behind it. Science could not help with a dantian but it gave his mind an image to focus on.
A moon or other dead form could become a sun in the right conditions!
Lind began to glow with emerald light as he floated up into the sky. His body was surrounded by a faint shape of a dragon coiled in sleep. It was the final step!
His body transformed into his dragon form of 9 meters long! His eyes snapped open as the spiritual form tried to appear but he suppressed it. Resistance was felt as the moon trembled but Lind kept pushing back!
Pressure was needed now. He had to first compress all of his harmony into the moon! The dragon soul roared in defiance at being suppressed but Lind did not care.
He was in charge! The tension in the air was getting thick enough that even the Elementals began to fear it. They had no race memory but the records of the ancients had stated that no 6 elemental could be born save in the lowest of mortal realms.
They did not know why, but they knew it was true. Now, they saw as the first 6 elemental to break the curse of them took an historic step.
The compression force continued but the moon was fighting back! The emerald Qi flared as the elements began to leak out! Lind roared as his Heaven Touch made a sphere where nothing could escape!
Blood began to seep from his eyes, ears, and mouth but he did not stop! If he stopped right then, he would suffer a horrific backlash or worse! It was do or die!
"BURN DAMN YOU!" Lind shouted and put everything into compressing his soul and harmony with the elements into one.
A massive crack formed on his moon but the dantian held! So close, he could feel it was so close to happening! He pulled everything from his mind, every iota of knowledge about suns, and made a crystal clear image of what he wanted to happen.
The sound of shattering glass was heard across the Desolate Song as a pillar of emerald slammed down from above! The Law Binding had broken into the Shade! It was the final push Lind needed!
His moon collapsed as it was ripped apart but searing emerald flames of power far beyond his dragon flame! It was the power of the sun!
The instant the process started, the whole world shifted. It was no longer contained to the Desolate Song but the entire Law Binding felt it.
All cultivators, regardless of strength, felt something change in the air before a shocking thing happened.
A roar of 3 mighty beasts filled the air as a whirlwind of Qi began to stream towards the Desolate Song! All knew Emperor Lind had been invited there by something, yet none knew who controlled it.
Still, the once irritable beings that had been expunged, crippled, or otherwise punished now felt they had been fools. They could all feel it. Heaven and Earth were celebrating!
Above the Desolate Song, black clouds gathered but even the most fresh Soul Realm could tell it was not a tribulation. It was jubilation!
Lightning began to dance until it took a shape all recognized! It was a lightning bolt form of Emperor Frey!
Lanbao felt happiness in her heart! She was about to roar when another formed! The white lightning was joined by an emerald! Then a violet one! Why were there 3 lightning dragons?!
Before anyone could blink, all 3 roared as the sky split open. A shadowy world seemed to appear to their eyes. It was not like when the Law Binding broke, it was still intact, this was the very sky inside it!
They saw a shape floating in front of a dark orb in a dim sky. It was the Emperor!
The 3 lightning dragons sparked as they vanished before flying in a circle around Lind. A dim beam of pure golden light shot from the spot where the 3 dragons' wings met flying around his body.
The moment it touched Lind, his body convulsed in pain but he endured. His Sun was forming! He saw the dim orb and the image still in his mind lit up and went out.
He did not use words but implored. The 3 dragons roared and Lind was sent spiraling out of the sky. The force he called on was far beyond anything he could control!
Heaven and Earth were joyful but they had heard his plea. The world shaking event began to spread. The Fiends had already pulled back but now the Law Binding became blinding to them.
The sky was ripped open and they saw something horrifying! A dark orb appeared in the sky but it did not stay dark for long!
Three dragons made of lightning appeared. They seemed to look down in rage at the Fiends but their time was too short to act beyond what was asked.
The white lightning broke apart as flames launched from the dragon followed by the other 2. Their fires collided on the dark orb which was swallowed in the flames. The Fiends did not understand until a new blinding light seared the skies!
The Qi began to thicken and grow like a waterfall had been turned on above them! The once bland bright sky became searing blue!
A ball of flame reclaimed its place and the rest of the Heaven Realm shook! The spectacle was over but the Fiends felt pain! The sky was giving them pain!
Many weavings began to activate as the leaders had to order full retreats across all battlefronts! The Alliance warriors were left shocked but elated until the sky changed. They looked up in awe at the pure blue sky and the increase in Qi.
Across the Heaven Realm, many that were close to breakthroughs felt the bottlenecks fall away while every Immortal simply looked up in shock.
It had been recorded that a normal sun had once been in the skies above them but it had been so long that no current Immortal left remembered it!
Even aether beasts were in the same boat as the ancestral bloodlines had been thinned by the constant war against the Fiends.
It did not stop there as all the ascension pools did not stop Qi flowing down into the mortal realms! While most did not know why the Qi suddenly increased, 2 recognized the feeling inside it!
The Moebius Sects glowed as all the 6 elementals bathed in new found knowledge! The Founder! It was the Founder!
In a mortal realm with an Immortal Mountain, a young girl danced happily in the shower of Qi as 3 dragons roared in joy!
All the mortal realms conquered by the Fiends suffered massive setbacks! The Heavens had returned! The Qi burned them wherever they were! It was not lethal but they had to act to preserve themselves.
Lind had simply wanted to help, but the dominos fell across all the Heaven Realm and mortal realms! The man himself was lying unconscious as his sun finally settled in his dantian.
There was a key difference however. There were faint flows of demonic Qi between each of his primary elements! Lind had succeeded! He now could use demonic Qi without refining his own!
The world changed as the midday sun beat down on all after being gone for a very long time. The Law Binding peoples were basking in it as Lanbao simply knelt on the ground in joyful tears.
The future had hope for the first time in a very long time!
