Chapter 621 - 620 - Aftermath
Chapter 621 - 620 - Aftermath
Timat was bleeding but it was nothing for a Sun Tier. He could heal on his own even without harvesting a soul.
The Sky Realms in the caskets were dead, fried by Heavenly Wrath while still connected to any puppet on the surface.
The lightning had lanced out in all directions but had only destroyed maybe a tenth of the puppets he had. Compared to the rest, it was good news.
The ancient tethers holding the floating land masses had been destroyed. The artifact anchors were intact but the actual spirit Qi had been corrupted by Fiend Qi.
In fact, Timat saw that all his tendrils into Orwellia Empire on the surface or in any exposed area had been burnt out entirely. No cultivator could do that kind of damage, only Heaven and Earth could.
"A Divine Dragon! It is a spirits' cursed Divine Dragon!" His rage was without a vent as most of those he could kill were dead, further their souls were gone.
He had felt the Law Binding loosen as even it had to bow to the power of Heaven and Earth.
It could fight back, but it took time and in that short window, Heaven had made its displeasure clear.
All his plans were in ruins! The puppets were mostly intact but the controllers were almost all dead! Any cultivator he used as his plaything outside the Inner Garden was obliterated and the visitors were demanding answers.
Xing would not be far behind.
"Bring me the Princess." Timat was even more angry he had to give up the voluptuous prize he had recently acquired but she was the only imperial left!
His rail thin toy was still alive but only because he was near Timat during the whole disaster. There was no way to restore the tethers and the arrays controlling the empire had been shattered.
He had to move quickly before the locked up minds began to wake up. He would have to find some of the idiots feasting to take over as many puppets as he could but the results would be annoyingly inefficient.
"I will not forget this indignity!" Timat stormed off to get back to the Garden before the palace floated off. He had a few ways to stop them but it would consume resources massively in the short term.
Orwellia Empire was useless for the next thousand years at least!

Xing watched as the Law Core continued to slowly heal. The Law Binding was restored but her control was still broken. She could no longer manipulate it! All she could do was keep Suzen alive but if she messed that up, it would all be lost when he died!
Linghu was not ready and even if he was, she could no longer transfer the Law Core to him! She did not know how long it would take to work again but she needed to act quickly.
"I want all sub-leaders of Perot, Karridan, and Hilden shall report to their communication Jades in an incense stick worth of time or they will die!" Xing yanked Linghu up by her control so roughly his right arm popped out of its socket!
She felt irritated but quickly put it back. She simply gave up Orwellia and Requera.
It was troublesome but the Hinterlands had too many choke points and with the disruption to her controls, the teleportation arrays were likely affected to Orwellia at least.
If that empire fell before they could get a force through, it would be pointless. Further, Requera would become a death trap if the intruder took advantage of the situation. There were a few troubling things there but she was safe.
Suzen was with her.
"Troubles?" The mocking question from Linghu almost made her kill him. If she did not need him, he would wish for death if she could make it happen. He knew her limits and that without Shi, her threats were far fewer as well.
"You should recall that your sister was killed by that bastard. If he wins, your fate will be the same!" Linghu flinched but then sneered.
"She was made safe from you. Death was likely her idea too no matter what he said. I will happily enjoy dying knowing you die with me." She then lifted him with one arm as her facade of plainess fell away to reveal her impossible beauty once more.
"I remind you, if I take your soul you will not enter samsara! You will never see her again! You had better pray to whatever spirit will listen that he does not push me too far!" Xing finally saw fear flash in those hateful eyes.
She tossed him aside and then dragged him by the technique along the floor. She cared little who saw it at that moment.

Glenda felt invigorated after the strange event. Every Heaven Realm and above felt the full power of the Heavenly Wrath but it was a joyful moment for them. They had not felt the outside world in so long but for a brief moment her race memories sang with recognition before it cut off again.
"The Emperor has challenged our enemy more than we hoped." She sat at a table with Gail, and a few others running the Ministry Council while Lind was at war. He had come back a few years after conquering the Empire of Hope.
The official declaration of alliance had been rather smooth and now a flow of goods went between them.
It resolved many cultivation issues as demons had little use for the majority of what they had. Lind, in anticipation, had prepared several things in trade like Arts, elixirs, and Forged items to get them started.
He also had set up demonic areas 75 years ago that had begun to blossom as well. The Empire of Hope had decades to catch up but by then grade 6 items would be available in the Two Rivers Empire.
As she resumed their work, it was dull but she suddenly realized she had broken through to the peak of the Moon Tier! She froze and examined her dantian to be sure she was not imagining things.
How could she miss that?!
A quick survey found few humans had any such effect but aether children and aether beasts both noticed the sudden change. A Heavenly Wrath would not do that, so what had?
She traced her Qi in her body until a shock filled her. Very faint emerald Qi was there! The Emperor!
Emperor Lind had been resonating with that event?!
It would be some months before a full accounting was done but it was not limited to just the Two Rivers Empire. All the beasts of the Hinterlands rejoiced in increased power and many felt the presence of Divine Bloodline that had gifted it to them.
Lind's standing in the wilds was skyrocketing and even the few experts that stayed out of his offers now contemplated changing their mind. A few turned their eyes east to see if they could be of assistance while others looked west and had some ideas that way as well.
The world moved yet the man at the heart of it was getting a small group ready to move out as they were no longer safe. He was exhausted but no one challenged him anymore. He had become the leader of the survivors and his elixirs made miraculous recoveries for the worst injured.
The lands of the 6 empires were changing faster and faster, but the war had changed for Lind. He was originally calm and cool about his approach but he could not let Timat recover. The Heavenly wrath gave him an opening and he could miss it.
The war front would change and blood would flow!

Ethry was weeping openly as Mira held her. Her room was very full of people as the moment Lind reached out a pillar of emerald light slammed into the tower of the Moebius Sect.
Any spy, ally or foe, that saw it knew what it meant. Lind Frey was alive! He had made contact and a massive flux of messages and excursions were being sent out to find him. Some to garner favor, others to kill him.
Yet, few could suspect where he was, not even the Fiends that saw the change in the Law Binding. No one could find him, but Ethry now knew.
She had a direction and a feeling of what cut her off. As she spoke, Qing's eyes narrowed in frustration as Lind's estimates of the Law Binding's power left no avenue at the moment.
"Papa is alive!" Tal suddenly broke as Fey held her tight. The stress of not knowing lifted and few were clear eyed, yet now they had other issues. The direction of his contact was behind enemy lines.
The seal made sure nothing leaked but they could not hide such a blatant contact from Lind. They would make an announcement close to the truth.
Lind was alive but trapped in a place he cannot leave easily. They would be preparing to help him at a moment's notice.
No one would question it as it was in fact true but would not give away all of it.
"How far in is that troublesome son of mine?" Mira spoke but all noticed the happy tears on her face.
"I am unsure but I can approximate it." Ethry quickly used a map of the known and lost territories of the Heaven Realm. She closed her eyes and traced a line from the Moebius Sect far into the Fiend Territory.
The farther her finger traced the paler their faces became until it stopped. She then drew a rather large circle. The scale covered over 50 million square kilometers. It was a massive area.
"I can't get any more accurate than that and it may be bigger. Whatever is there blocked me too much." Shoti suddenly exclaimed as she grabbed a communication jade. They all were on tenterhooks until she smirked.
"He is safe, there is a Law Binding there all right! It appeared a million years ago when that part of the war front collapsed! They all felt some relief knowing Lind was safe for the moment but they knew their husband would not stay still.
"The Alliance will never let us even try to go there. What can we do?" Annabelle was right. Cyntilla was the one that answered.
"Prepare to wage war. Have faith in him to strike fear into their hearts and use it to get him out. Issue missions immediately to gather materials for elixirs, Forging, and all professions. We must be ready and must get stronger. Sun Tiers are not the end but we all can reach it! Lind laid the foundation and we will use it to get him back!" Her words were spoken as if no other alternative existed.
They all dried their eyes and dispersed to train, create missions, and get ready. They would not lose Lind after finally finding him. The Moebius Sect was preparing for war.
