Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 548 - 547 - Blessings of Heaven

Chapter 548 - 547 - Blessings of Heaven

Lind smiled at the wild nature of his sect.  Despite being a supreme power and able to expand, Saisei City had actually become the extension to let the main sect stay unobtrusive in Wild Heart Isle.

Still, their mixed races facet made them very popular.  Aether beasts, once barely able to integrate into the Floating Isle hierarchy, now had a voice beyond the Wilds.  They had true allies that understood them!

The Wilds had essentially become an extension but Lind left it alone.  He knew there were many beasts that would always follow their instincts and needed a place that called to them like that.

Those that wanted to live among cultivators now had an avenue and those that wished to stay immersed in the fight for the fittest also had a place to go.  It just so happened the latter stayed connected to the Moebius Sect as well.

Ilyria had become very popular in the sect but many aether beasts treated her much as they had Ethry before.  Her Divine Bloodline was too powerful.

Ethry's Divine dragon bloodline was strong but still weaker than a true guardian beast.  Ilyria was a direct descendent of Divine Guardian, thus it would be like meeting the original ancestor vs their grandchild.

Both were powerful to the beasts, but the purer bloodline would always win out.

Oddly, Lind had always been stronger to them, but they could not tell why he still felt more terrifying compared to Ilyria.

It was not about the cultivation realm, but his bloodline.  A few race memories enlightened them a bit, but still, most aether beasts simply trusted their instincts when it came to Lind Frey.

Lind flew into his office once he was sure it was not in use.  Kexin pretty much ran the day to day when she was not in seclusion either.  They all worked hard to study their harmonies but since no progress was made, most just looked for opportunities.

There were always Ruins to explore or the chance to try for an Inheritance if they met the qualifications.

Sadly, there were few that were compatible with them, but Ruins were always possible so the Moebius Sect scoured the islands or negotiated with those powers that administered some that knew of the need for all 6 elements.

Kexin had no such options at all so she simply stayed in the sect.

She was still the only demonic 6 elemental.  The harmony of dominance seemed simply enough to her now but she still could not break through either.

Lind pushed all the thoughts aside as he sat down with Ilyria to discuss her 3rd circle.  Unlike other weaves, he suspected the main issue was the threshold of her racial inclination to weaving.

Most weavers passed the 3rd circle by making a 3 dimensional ring and compress it into themselves.  It worked and they became 3rd Circle weavers, but there was a step beyond that.

Lind knew he was a perfected 3rd Circle and Ilyria needed to reach that to advance due to her bloodline.  Unlike him who strove for it because his mind took him there, Ilyria had to reach that or she would be stuck.

He made a mental note to explore that for the other circles as well.  Since he had done it himself, he recognized the need in her.

It took them a month to finish discussing the basics before she entered enlightenment.  He smiled to see her advantage finally come to the fore.

Divine bloodlines, no matter their purity, allowed cultivators much higher chances of entering enlightenment.  He had benefited from it himself many times.

He quietly left and sealed his office to find Kexin waiting for him.

"I heard about your latest failure.  Or rather, the entire Mengcong felt that explosion even all the way over here."  He smiled at her pale lavender face before motioning to move away.

"I just helped Ilyria take the steps to start to clear her final hurdle."  A smile spread on her face but it was sad.

"They are leaving us all behind."  He could not deny that.  Lady Chyou had ascended nearly 60 years ago and various old friends and family he had met over his near 600 years had all been either left behind in the dust of time or advanced onwards.

His knowledge helped so many but the current bottleneck left him well and truly stuck.

"Be glad, only a few centuries ago, both you and I would be long dead."  His dragon soul gave him extra time but a ruined foundation would have left him without the chance to even reach that moment.

He likely would have been dead 3 centuries ago if he had not figured out how to advance the World Realm.

She nodded to him but then looked out the window at the sect grounds.  Even in the short time since she caught up, the friends she had made either moved or died so quickly.

If not for the limit of resources, many more would have quickly advanced, but trade took time and a waiting line had been made for those to get a chance to use the Star Tier Platforms they could use.

The Resonance Rods lasted quite a long time but the condensers and formations wore out quickly.

The pills and elixirs were always one shot so they need not be mentioned, but the sect was flush with resources most of the time for all other aspects due to it.

Their power was flourishing but the 6 elementals were starting to pile up.

"How long do you think she will take to advance?"  Lind was about to answer when the both froze.

A massive aura was flooding the building and he smiled as he recognized it.

"Not long at all."  Kexin rolled her eyes at his answer but both their eyes narrowed as the aura changed!  She was breaking through!

"Only a Divine Beast could do that!"  Lind nodded as the blessings of Heaven were clear.  Even he would not dare to break through while becoming a 3rd Circle weaver.

He and Kexin made their way back and unsealed the room he had just left.  The shelves were in disarray but his eyes glowed as he used his Talent to assess Ilyria's condition.

He saw as her 3rd Circle turned gold and was as profound as his while her Sky Core cracked and finally shattered.  He was stunned to realize he could still see her dantian!

He saw the fine shards become a starry filled sky as they filled the now vast space inside the dantian.

He did see large swaths of empty blackness but they were in the 3 positions that had yet to be filled.  The positions of the stars also did not correspond to reality but still made sense to him.  They were the comprehension of her elements to that point!

He had observed many Star Tiers but the step he currently saw was always murky or too obscure to be of much use to him.  Why could he suddenly see her dantian so clearly?

"I have made progress, it seems."  Kexin looked up at him in confusion but then her eyes widened.

"You can see her dantian?!"  Lind nodded but both focused on Ilyria as she finally settled down.  Her foundation felt very unstable but she cultivated until the chaotic situation settled.

She slowly opened her eyes and found both Lind and Kexin smiling at her.

"UNCLE!  I DID IT!"  He nodded as they both sat near her.

"Congratulations on becoming a Heaven Realm.  Still, we need to solidify your gains and see if there are any issues before proceeding."  He doubted there would be.  Unlike other races, beasts generally could not advance by force until they were ready.

A Divine Beast had even less chance of issues, but LInd was always cautious.

As he examined and spoke with Ilyria, he was stunned at how much detail he could make out.  Her 'stars' were very dim but slowly grew brighter until he could just barely make out traces of Qi flowing to the dark areas.

He understood her dantian needed to start taking in the missing 3 elements.

It frustrated him because he could not figure out why he could not advance as it seemed like he should just be able to step into Star Tier with all 6 of his elements.

He pushed it aside as Ilyria was his current focus.

Still, she smoothly solidified her foundation and already began asking questions, yet she was now beyond his limits.  Still, a few elders that were beasts were summoned and Lind was stunned to see their dantians clearly as well.

He found it fascinating and hopeful as it meant he had made progress, no matter how miniscule to cross some threshold for his Eyes to see more than before.

He looked on but a certain part of the conversation piqued his interest.

"Adding elements can be difficult but you can use dichotomies to reach an understanding of the conflicting sides of the elements.  Take fire and water, for example.  Combined they make steam but in conjurings they cancel each other out.  The contrast of the 2 elements can be used to see how air and earth should react to each other in a sense and to the existing fire and water."  An Illusion Python was speaking but Lind held up his hand.

"You mean the pieces of each element can be viewed like a puzzle and have pieces missing?"  Ilyria seemed to have something fall into place but the python nodded at him.

They all jumped as air Qi began to swarm Ilyria like a storm and Lind saw a faint new constellation be born in her dantian.  He could only shake his head at the unfairness of it all but he also narrowed his eyes.

The stars were not of the same quality and he felt that they were not just fainter due to being newly created.

He saw a few connections being made by Qi but it was all too fresh to help so he turned to the 2 beasts with them.  The Illusion Python had the normal air and water as her primary Qi while the rest were of varying density and strength but she had all 6 elements for him to look at.

He saw the interconnections but it gave him nothing.  His relationship with his elements was so much better than anything he saw, so why could he not break through?!

"Uncle, what is wrong with my hair?"  Lind suddenly heard Ilyria ask him something and he turned back to find something odd.  Her once solid dark hair now had faint streaks of brown, gold, and very faint green.

He also noted her eyes had changed as well.  The same colors had been added there.  It was not something he had seen before but the moment he thought of something he felt shock as he compared her dantian to the others.

"OF COURSE!  I am an idiot!"  He lifted Ilyria up and she smiled down at him.  "Your elements are part of you more than others.  It manifests a change in your body because you are so closely tied to it!"

He was giggling like an idiot but no one knew why.  Kexin suddenly shot up in shock as if she understood something.

"Harmonies are fused to our souls, they are not just elemental Qi resonating but part of our soul as well!"  Her words made the 2 elders confused but then they slowly grasped that something wonderful might be about to happen.

Lind nodded but then frowned.

"Even so, there is still something more.  I need think on it, but Ilyria, study hard and come for me if you have any questions."  She nodded as he quickly flew out the balcony.  All knew his abode was likely to be explosive once more but hope had lit up again.  Could Lind Frey do it once more?
