Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1449 - 1448 - Siblings Finals

Chapter 1449 - 1448 - Siblings Finals

Lind returned to the tournament to find things had ground to a halt as the various powers demanded answers.

The Shadow Falls Coven and Shimmer Glade Empire had some as both their Heaven Realm contenders revealed that he had acted on their behalf. They had also bowed low when he appeared.

Two Immortal ascension tribulations at once in such close proximity was a death sentence without question.

He explained about the unexpected side effect of his attempts to allow breakthroughs during the tournament. Many Immortals were thrilled but then frowned as their progress was no different than outside the Throne of Defiance.

He clarified that it was the contestants that had the chance, not the crowd. The simple logistics made it clear of the disaster that could follow if that was allowed.

He also reiterated that it was not supposed to happen so soon. He could not completely remove the power of the Throne after all but it seemed the 2 battles fed into each other to push both over the threshold of the peak of the Sun Tier.

He also affirmed that the issue has been resolved. He did say, however, that the championships for the Heaven Realm combat would need to be postponed until he could examine them if they would face their tribulations once more.

Some frowned but the 2 powers related to them happily agreed.

"As such, the production finals will proceed. The Immortals may also continue." He bowed low and quickly moved to get out of the way. The Harmonic Dragons were once more in charge and cleared the arena floor.

Lind appeared in a waiting area for the contestants. He was one of the few who could do so, but a pair of women were cultivating there.

A demoness in attire that hid her features almost entirely and an aether child of air and light elements.

He waited for them to come out of their current session but he felt a little impatient. His kids were competing in the 2 grades of weaving finals!

He knew they were all close to being Immortals no matter what the registration currently said. They had intentionally slowed down to hone their crafts at the lower realms.

Now he wanted to see how far they had come!

The pair, thankfully, finally woke up and instantly noticed him. They both bowed low but he waved them to stay seated.

"You both have stabilized but I need to evaluate if you will still cross the threshold. Do I have your permission?" Young Ava's eyes went wide but she quickly nodded. The Enchantress did not immediately respond but he did not need to do them at the same time.

He quickly summoned a circular plate he infused with natural elements. It began to spin and hover over her head. A soft glow of emerald engulfed her but she seemed to feel soothed rather than any invasion.

Lind's eyes glowed as he examined her. He frowned at first but then shock flashed on his face.

Ava was indeed on the verge of becoming an Immortal. She so much as flexed even pure elemental Qi, the tribulation should start, but he knew now it would not.

Her crystal was ensnared by energy he had no name for but barely detected! Its effects, however, were shocking! He could see the restriction on her half-step Laws were as solid as a brick wall.

[Haro?] He reached out to his ring but another answered.

[Master, Big Brother Haro told me to inform you that what you are seeing is part of his request. That is all I can say.] Ember actually spoke to him. Abby was silent but he could tell she was awake.

[Will it harm her?] He knew she had just said all she could say but he quickly heard her again.

[The restriction is limited to the Throne.] That was all he needed as relief flooded him.

"Senior?" He heard Ava's worried voice and smiled down at her.

"Apologies, but I am happy to say the championship can move forward safely. After that, however, some special instructions are needed for both of you." The Enchantress finally reacted.

"What do you mean by that?" Her disrespect was normally annoying but he merely tapped the floating disc.

A projected image of faint tendrils of energy clearly encircling a dantian appeared.

"I cannot explain the how, but whatever this energy is, it now restricts tribulations from happening, including yours. If you are like Ava, you are likely a step away from triggering your tribulation once more." Her veiled head nodded but he pointed at the tendrils.

"So long as you are within the boundaries of the Throne of Defiance, you cannot call it. You are free to fight at your limits but I suspect touching the Immortal Realm as you did before will not work." Ava frowned at that but then nodded in acceptance.

The Enchantress was clearly displeased but he then let his aura flare.

"If you dislike my analysis, you are free to forfeit." Both clearly blanched as they seemed to forget they were talking to a Sovereign Tier Immortal.

"Apologies, honored senior." The Enchantress bowed low but he knew her words were hollow.

"Your fight will be held after the production finals. Take any time to recover and prepare in the waiting rooms." He then tore through space and found himself with his wives in their suite.

He had missed the previous rounds but he was not missing the finals!

"You were almost late!" Lind flinched as Shoti slapped him on the back. There was no pain but she was damned good at sneaking up on him!

"I had work to finish. Have they started?" Kora was the one who answered.

"The primary professions finished and they just completed set up for the derivative grade 6." He felt relief flow over him!

He had made it in time!

Samuel examined the split platform. It was more massive than the battle circles but it was due to the need to have resources available. His faint emerald scales reflected the sunlight from above but he was long used to the random placement on his skin catching the light.

His body was slim but his physical power was staggeringly high thanks to his mother and father. His darker toned skin confirmed Chu was his mother. His older siblings had visited at times that had made it to the 4th layer but he had only heard stories from his parents.

His black and emerald hair matched his mother too but he had it neatly tied back into a single ponytail. His robes left his arms exposed but his sister across the way made him nervous.

Vivian was silver eyed and actually had more scales than any other sibling of his generation. She was Mother Ethry's child, one of 3 in fact!

They were a massive generation compared to what he had heard from before. He had 4 direct siblings from his own mother.

Still, her robes drew his eye. It was not forbidden to use artifacts or tools but they had to be made by the cultivator. Vivian was far more skilled in engraving items than he was.

"If you keep staring, I will win by default, older brother." He shook his head and reviewed his work area. Crushed crystals, blank plates, and other useful accessories to help weaving item creation were there. He wondered what they would make for the final when both of them felt eyes staring.

They looked to the side and saw the Immortal Grade finalists looking on at them!

Gran was a massive man but he was very agile. His massive mane of golden hair was from Mother Kora, but he too had random emerald scales but unlike the rest of them, they were quite prominent on him for some unknown reason.

Samuel had to refine his bloodline to improve their appearance but Gran always had them.

His golden eyes seemed to strip away all Samuel's secrets. Their sister next to him, however, made Samuel shiver.

Brielle had the shifting colors in her hair like Mother Qing's eyes. Her own eyes were a deep amethyst. They pierced him deeply.

They were both monsters in weaving but far from alone. Still, of them all, the pair there had made it the finals out of all the siblings.

"Sammy, be grateful we don't face them yet. Let us battle well!" He nodded at Vivian's words. He was not far from their level but even in that same grade, he had no doubt he would be destroyed.

It was time to claim the champion of the 6th Circle! He would do it! He had come to the finish line and would not bow out to Vivian again!

He looked far up the seating to a larger VIP suite and smiled. They were watching, he was sure. Father would be teased by their mothers and then ask him which he thought would win but Father never chose.

It was not about being the best but about grasping what can be done. Samuel knew that to the bottom of his soul!

[Ready to begin?] The Harmonic Dragon uncle snapped him back to see a jade slip had appeared in front of him. He nodded and saw Vivian mirror him.

He looked once more between them before chopping down his hand.

[BEGIN!]
