Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy

Chapter 216: Rest Up and Hit Me Again

Chapter 216: Rest Up and Hit Me Again

After Damon Hawke finished dealing with some business, he looked up to see Elara Don storming into the kitchen with a look of anger, a smile flickered in his eyes.

Hmm, his future wife was very angry, and the consequences were severe.

He couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.

Thinking this, he got up and strode into the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Elara Don was opening the fridge, pondering what breakfast to prepare for the two little ones.

Damon Hawke hugged her from behind, sniffing her hair.

"Elly, you smell so good."

The man’s voice was tender and affectionate, enough to melt anyone’s heart.

Elara Don suppressed the tingling feeling in her heart and elbowed him hard.

"Damon, you scoundrel, let go of me!"

Damon felt a sharp pain in his chest and hissed, but didn’t release her.

"Elly, come on, if attempting to murder your husband is what it takes to calm you down, I won’t complain, I’ll let you handle me as you please."

Elara Don: "..."

This man was not only shameless but also thick-skinned.

He knew very well that no matter how angry she was, she wouldn’t actually hurt him.

"Damon, do you think I’m determined not to do anything to you? Well, you’re totally wrong! I’ll beat you to death!"

Elara Don suddenly turned around and started kicking, hitting, and twisting Damon Hawke mercilessly.

Damon Hawke continued to hold her without moving an inch.

His eyes were full of a loving smile.

Go ahead and hit!

To him, this slight pain was like scratching an itch.

It wasn’t until Elara Don was out of breath and had no strength left in her hands, that Damon Hawke laughed and spoke.

"Are your hands sore? If you’re tired, take a break, then gather your strength and beat me again!"

Elara Don: "..."

Dog man, don’t think saying this will make me feel better!

Elara Don glared at him intensely, "Let go, I need to make breakfast."

Damon Hawke chuckled softly and gently pulled her tighter into his embrace.

"Alright, but before I let go, I need a good morning kiss."

After he said that, without waiting for Elara to respond, he tilted towards her slightly.

The familiar scent of the man wafted over.

Elara Don’s fists pounded on his chest, but her heart felt full.

"Ah!"

A child’s voice suddenly came from the kitchen door.

Elara Don was startled awake and hurriedly pushed Damon away.

Turning around, she saw the two little ones covering their faces and quickly turning away.

Oh my!

They had just seen her and Damon kissing.

Elara Don’s face immediately flushed red.

"Sorry, Mommy, Daddy, we didn’t see anything. We’re going to wash up."

Bea looked at her brother’s face, laughed, tugged him along, and ran away.

Daddy and Mommy must have reconciled!

So happy!

In the kitchen, Elara Don wished she could find a hole to crawl into.

She glared at Damon Hawke, "Damon, it’s all your fault! Stop getting so affectionate at random times."

The woman’s eyebrows held a blush of shyness, and this made Damon feel delighted.

"As you command, wife, next time, I’ll make sure to avoid the kids when I am affectionate."

"You... who’s your wife?"

Elara Don said indignantly.

"Elly, you’re my woman. Who else would be my wife?"

Damon Hawke raised an eyebrow, his tone carrying a hint of dominance.

Elara Don gradually calmed her emotions.

"Damon, I am just Charlie and Bea’s mother, that’s it. I won’t let you take them away, but if you want, we can raise them together."

Upon hearing this, Damon’s expression grew more serious.

He looked at Elara with determination and after a moment said, "Elly, why won’t you just marry me?"

"Because of our different statuses, I can’t measure up to a Hawke."

Elara opened the fridge, preparing to make breakfast.

Damon pulled her back, "Elly, you’re worried my parents won’t agree with us, right? But they’ve already expressed their support, there are no barriers between us anymore."

At these words, surprise flashed in Elara’s eyes.

Did the Hawke elders really agree for them to be together?

But they had previously reminded her of her lower status!

"Damon, you don’t need to lie to me, I am aware of my position."

"Why would I lie to you? If you don’t believe it, you can come home with me and ask them personally." Damon said.

Elara was taken aback, staring at Damon intently.

The man had a steadfast expression, very sincere.

Did the Hawke elders truly approve of his choice?

But even so, Damon wanting to be with her wasn’t because he genuinely loved her, right?

Elara’s lips moved, wanting to say something.

At this moment, the doorbell rang.

The words at the tip of Elara’s tongue swallowed back down, she freed herself from Damon’s hold and rushed to open the door.

Through the peephole, she saw the Hawke elders standing outside, and her nerves tightened again.

Why have they come early this morning?

And they’re carrying food too!

"Who is it?"

Damon followed out and asked.

Elara didn’t answer but directly opened the door.

"Mr. Hawthorne, Madam Hawke, good morning."

Elara politely greeted the pair.

The Hawke elders glanced at her and nodded.

"Dad, Mom, why are you here so early?"

Damon’s eyes flickered with surprise.

"Can’t we come and see our grandchildren?"

Elder Hawthorne said, following Madam Hawke into the house.

"Grandpa, Grandma, morning."

The two little ones came out of the bathroom, seeing the Hawke elders, joyfully called out.

"Ah, so good."

Elder Hawthorne walked over, patted their soft hair, then smilingly took a bottle out from his pocket.

"Bea, look, what’s this?"

"Wow, such a big bug!"

Bea’s eyes lit up with excitement and reached out to take it.

But thinking of something, he glanced towards Elara’s direction, and hesitated in retracting his hand.

He couldn’t appear too happy; otherwise, Mommy might be upset.

Seeing this, Elara couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.

Her son was worried she’d be hurt?

He’s really too considerate.

Making her feel guilty.

"Bea, why not take what Grandpa gives?"

Hearing this, Bea’s eyes brightened up, cheerfully accepting the bottle from Elder Hawthorne’s hand.

Elder Hawthorne patted his hand and glanced at Elara.

This woman was indeed polite.

Wondering how the young couple interacted last night.

"Grandma, is this the breakfast you and Grandpa brought?"

Dominic Hawke stood in front of Madam Hawke and asked.

"Indeed, Grandma had someone prepare the breakfast you love early this morning, eat it while it’s hot."

Madam Hawke replied, smiling warmly.

"Thank you, Grandma."

Dominic politely thanked, then looked at Elara, "Mommy, today you don’t have to work hard on breakfast."

Elara curved her lips slightly, didn’t say much, just took the breakfast and placed it on the dining table.

"Dad, Mom, have you eaten yet? Join us."

Damon sighed slightly at the suddenly bustling house.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

Someone had just questioned his words.

Now seeing the Hawke elders personally delivering breakfast couldn’t prove something?

They have already acknowledged Elara.

If it weren’t so, they would certainly use forceful means to take the two little ones back to the Hawke estate.

Why would they personally bring breakfast here!
