Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy

Chapter 215: Elara Don Resembles Another Woman

Chapter 215: Elara Don Resembles Another Woman

Study room.

Hunter was looking at a photo album.

He turned to one photo, his eyes softened, and his fingers gently caressed it.

The photo was a group picture of several young men and women standing together.

His gaze fell on the woman on the far right, and his eyes couldn’t hide his affection.

Thinking of something, his chest suddenly throbbed with dull pain. He put down the album and touched his chest.

"Uncle Miles, is your chest hurting again? Have you taken your medicine?"

Benjamin entered the room and, seeing Hunter’s state, quickly went over to support him.

"I’m fine, I’ll take the medicine right away."

Hunter smiled and picked up the bottle of medicine on the table.

Benjamin swiftly handed over a cup of water.

Hunter shook out two pills into his mouth, accepted the water cup, and swallowed the medicine.

Looking at Benjamin’s handsome face, he patted his hand, "Benjamin, are you settling well after returning to the country?"

"It’s alright."

Benjamin smiled slightly, his eyes accidentally swept to the album on the table, and upon seeing one photo, his eyes paused.

A smiling face flashed in his mind.

The smile strangely overlapped with the photo.

No wonder he found Elara familiar.

Because she resembles a woman in Hunter’s photo album!

And this woman...

"It’s been a long time since I’ve been back to the old residence. It’s a bit poignant how things have changed."

Hunter closed the album and put it in the bookshelf, sighing.

This is the old residence of the Miles family.

But when Hunter was young, he worked hard outside, and after achieving success, he settled in Imperial Capital with his family.

The old residence was always managed by the butler, and Hunter would return with his family once a year for New Year’s to meet his brothers and clansmen and worship the ancestors.

This time they came back because of Samantha.

She encountered some issues, and the doctor suggested finding a place with beautiful scenery to help her recuperate.

And Sea City is evidently the perfect place.

"Uncle Miles is a sentimental person."

Benjamin glanced at the album once more, his gaze profound.

"Only when you get older do you start to reminisce." Hunter chuckled.

His health was poor, and he was now semi-retired.

With nothing much to do, he had plenty of time to reminisce about past events.

Sighing over the uncertainty of life.

"Uncle Miles, just like Samantha said, you’ll always be the eternal god in everyone’s heart."

Benjamin complimented him, improving Hunter’s mood greatly.

He looked at Benjamin, a bit regretful, "Ah, Benjamin, you’re so good, it’s unfortunate for our Samantha."

He always wanted Benjamin to be the Miles family’s son-in-law.

Unfortunately, Samantha didn’t fancy Benjamin.

"Uncle Miles, being able to stay by your side and repay the kindness of your care is already great, I don’t wish for anything else."

Benjamin smiled lightly, responding calmly.

Hunter patted his shoulder, "You’re no longer young; if there’s a woman you fancy, bring her back for Uncle Miles to meet, and I’ll check her for you."

"Uncle Miles, I’m still focused on my career."

Benjamin supported Hunter, but a figure flashed in his mind.

"Career is important, but so are the major events in life."

Hunter spoke, a flash in his eyes, "Men should always experience an unforgettable love so they won’t feel they’ve lived in vain."

Benjamin remained silent, looking at Hunter’s distracted eyes, lost in thought.

Indeed, Hunter once experienced a passionate romance.

But the woman in that romance wasn’t the current Mrs. Grant!

...

Blue Sky Apartments.

Damon, after some tossing, looked at the sleeping woman and smiled as he kissed her face.

After so long, he finally indulged himself thoroughly.

This is his woman, and no one has the right to take her from him!

Damon, feeling completely satisfied, tenderly tucked Elara in and got out of bed.

After dressing, he went to the living room, took out a cigarette, stood by the window, and gazed at the night view, eyes deep.

The end was decided, so now he should think about the entire matter’s chain of events.

Everything started with Elara and Benjamin’s scandal, followed by Charlie and Bea’s faces being exposed.

But soon, the news was suppressed.

This was strange.

Someone didn’t want him to know about the existence of the two children.

That’s why the news was quickly removed.

The one who didn’t want him to know about the children was Elara.

But she didn’t have the capability to suppress the sensational news so swiftly.

Therefore, someone was helping her!

And this person is aware of the truth!

Moreover, they have the necessary financial ability!

Who could it be?

Why would they help Elara?

Could it be because they like her?

Damon squinted his eyes, several figures flashed in his mind.

Those close to Elara are only a few men.

Evan Miles, Benjamin, and... Cole Hawke!

Among these people, who would be helping her?

Damon’s eyes darkened, and he took out his phone to call Rhun Quinn.

"Rhun, find out who suppressed the news, and also, blacklist Victoria Don!"

He couldn’t forget Victoria Don’s existence.

This malicious woman dared to do such things!

She had been living quite comfortably under his name for the past few years.

But next, he would make her pay dearly, render her life a living hell!

Damon was enveloped in hostility, like an enraged lion, making people tremble.

...

The next day.

Elara was awakened by a strong biological clock.

She opened her eyes groggily, stretching out of habit.

Her body ached, and she frowned as some fragments surfaced her mind.

Damon, that bastard, actually slept with her last night!

Elara’s face changed repeatedly, and as she straightened up, she cursed him thoroughly in her mind.

When she opened the bedroom door, she immediately saw the man sitting on the sofa watching the news.

In black silk pajamas, elegant yet casual.

Truly pleasing to the eye.

"Morning, Elly."

Seeing Elara awake, Damon smiled warmly.

Elara glared at him, without saying a word.

He smiled so charmingly; he must be feeling very proud!

Despite her unwillingness, he forced himself on her, yet dared to stay here!

He’s a shameless old man!

Elara’s eyes were ablaze, wanting to rush up and hit him.

But thinking of the two sons still asleep in the other room, she took a deep breath, suppressed her anger, and went to the bathroom with a cold face.

With a bang, the door was shut, Damon curled his lips, unperturbed.

Last night, he took advantage of her, so he was ready to face her coldness.

No matter what, he would never give up on her.

Elara squeezed toothpaste, looking at the bruises on her neck in the mirror, and cursed Damon several more times.

Shameless man, like a dog?

Why leave such obvious marks on her!

How would she go to work later?

He must have done it on purpose!

Intentionally letting her be ridiculed!

Old scoundrel!

Elara brushed her teeth, fiercely spat it out, venting her inner frustration.

After she finished washing up and left the bathroom, she didn’t even glance at the person in the living room, heading straight to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Later she definitely wouldn’t make breakfast for a certain someone!
