Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven

Chapter 353 353: Battle Across Realms

Chapter 353 353: Battle Across Realms

Naledi did not answer and attacked again, a crescent blade of sword intent shot out, it cut through the sky like a streak of light.

Enhanced by divine flames, the intent was able to match laws, the world shook and the sky was split in two.

The old ancestor attacked, he still couldn't believe this child could threaten him, he believed what happened before was a fluke.

While the ancestor had lived for over a hundred thousand years, he had never left his world out of fear.

Before Pangera, travelling through space was extremely dangerous since void beasts who managed to slip passed the front lines could be found there.

The coward that he was he wouldn't have dared leave his world and as such his knowledge was very limited.

Until not long ago he only knew up to heaven grade, to him heaven grade was the heavens themselves.

He didn't know what divine flames were or what they can do which is why he was still underestimating her.

Naledi on the other hand was also trying to end this fight quickly for multiple reasons. She couldn't maintain this for long plus she couldn't let others know she was a divinity.

If others found out, she would be hunted to the ends of Pangera, she doubted even the beast race who call Ved king would protect her.

So she lunged, her sword intent slash was easily blocked but before the ancestor could react she was already there.

Her sword descended from the sky like a guillotine, the sky split in two and the world dimmed.

The bird of wind cawed and waved its giant wings. Blades of winds flew up and blocked the sword.

Unlike the first time he attacked them with the wind blades, this time she was able to cut through them like they were paper.

This caught him off guard but he was able to react and raise the bird claw to grab the sword.

Just as the claw was about to grab the blade Naledi shifted and changed her stance, the blade changed its trajectory.

She twisted it faster than he could react and cut off the birds leg. The damage was transmitted to his soul.

The ancestor gritted his teeth and used his laws to mend the wound and create a new leg.

Before Naledi could react, one of the wings hit her image on the chest. The wing was twice as large as the image.

The force sent her image flying a thousand kilometres away. The ice above the ocean shattered and she crashed on the ocean.

The entire sea churned startling everybody inside the inheritance world. They all flew up to avoid being caught in the fight.

Naledi flew up and stabbed her sword in the sea, pillars of ice a thousand kilometres tall and hundred kilometres thick rose from the sea.

Naledi wondered if she'll be able to use this ability in her current state. The ancestor reacted and slashed the pillars with giant winds of blade that seemed to split the sky apart.

However those world ending wind blades failed to even leave a scratch on the ice pillars making him frown.

He tried to fly out of the range of the pillars but Naledi intercepted him, ice chains materialised and bound the wind avatar.

It shattered them in a split second but they had given her enough time to cover the distance in a single bound.

With her divine flames pushing away the limitation laws of the heavens, she was able to move beyond the speed of light.

Ved who was watching them could only follow their movements due to their massive sizes, even so he could only barely do that.

All he saw were two shadows clashing so fast they appeared to exist in multiple positions at once.

One second passed, in that second they had exchanged thousands of moves, Naledi losing most of them.

Her image had cracks all over it but damage to the image would also damage the soul, fortunately she had an abnormal soul.

Those wounds healed at a speed that made the ancestor shake with fear. Even he couldn't heal his image that quickly and without natural treasures.

This was another reason why comprehension realm experts rarely use their avatars unless they have to or thought there was barely any risk to them.

Avatars were images with laws, while it appeared as if he had healed his avatar he knew the truth.

The new leg was nothing but a construct of essence and wind laws, his real avatar was still damaged.

However this girl had just healed a wound that would've rendered any other manifestation realm inactive.

This made him more certain to kill her, they were already enemies and if she is allowed to grow, it would spell the end of his empire.

He didn't know how right he was, Naledi was swearing inside and she promised herself to come back when she's stronger and kill him and his entire family.

She didn't even care about the ethicality of her intentions. They continued to fight with her acclimating more and more wounds.

However because she was using her soul essence to heal the wounds it reduced the time she could use the crown of divinity.

By the time three seconds had passed she only had about 30 percent of her soul essence but her technique was not ready yet.

On the pillars, countless runic arrays drew themselves at a rapid speed but their speed was not enough.

Realising she couldn't continue fighting like this Naledi changed her strategy but the person she was fighting was an old monster.

When he stopped underestimating her, she couldn't even deliver a single wound on him no matter how hard she tried.

The most she could do is try to survive, Naledi probably would've ran by now had it not been for Ved.

She tried to send him a will transmission but in a such a chaotic battlefield where will and even laws ran about, she couldn't reach him with will transmission.

However Ved had disappeared, had it not been for their connection, even she wouldn't have known he was still here.

What troubled her was that he was actively flying towards the enemy. Fortunately with these heavy winds, detecting him was almost impossible.

The ancestor's avatar opened its beak and a dense wind energy gathered in its mouth and continued growing.

Just it as it was about to shoot the beam of wind energy at her, two wings as black as night covered in flames like shadows stabbed the bird in the eye.
