Chapter 354 354: Dragon Breath

Ved's wings of Garuda were also covered in divine flames, unfortunately he couldn't control them like Naledi.

So even though he was not able to breach through the barrier of laws surrounding the avatar, he was still able to push its head away.

The beam of wind energy shot out faster than light itself but missed Naledi. It split the ocean in two.

Heavy winds blew across the entire inheritance world creating gigantic tornadoes that reached the sky.

The shockwaves of that attack were felt even by those standing outside near the entrance of the inheritance world.

At the same time, the moment Ved attacked he tried to retreat but how could he match the speed of a comprehension realm.

Before he could react he was hit by the gigantic wing of wind that seemed to blot out the sky.

His body shot down like a streak of light, his scales did not nothing to protect him and his body started breaking down.

He felt the hand of the reaper draw close but his image shook its canopy in defiance and sent death away.

It sent multiple drops of life origin into his body healing his wounds but healing a wound made by laws was not easy.

So it became a struggle between the laws and life origin. Normally origin energy would come out of top but this was an impure origin wielded by a manifestion realm dragon.

It could not triumph over the laws of an expert, at least not in a short time. Unfortunately the wings of Garuda were a weapon.

As such he couldn't use their divine flames for anything else or make them leave the wings at all.

It was a pity but there was nothing he could do about it. Just as he was about to hit the water, blue divine flames burnt around him.

They burnt the laws away allowing him to heal his wounds instantly. He sank below the frozen ocean.

He looked up through the water and ice and saw the calamitous battle being waged above him.

Naledi had taken advantage of his attack, even though it didn't do any damage it had distracted the ancestor.

Her burning sword cut through the sky and split the wind like a crescent streak. Unfortunately the ancestor reacted in time.

A hand of wind materialised to block the sword, her sword cut through it like a hot knife through butter but it lost some of its power and momentum.

Before Naledi could react the giant bird flashed back so fast it disappeared. Such speed for something so huge was insane.

This caught both him and her by surprise and before she could react a beam on wind energy dense with laws hit her on the chest.

The beam drilled a hole through her image's chest, fortunately she had moved a little up so her real body was not hit or she would've died.

The laws of wind ravaged inside the image trying to rip it to shreds but she used her divine flames to remove them.

This reduced her time even more but she did not care, her technique was almost complete to begin with.

They continued clashing, ice spears met wind blades. Giant bird claws of wind met hands if ice.

The sky shook like it was going to break but it held firm, a testament of the strength of this inheritance world.

However Ved noticed Naledi was getting slower, he looked through her image and saw her face was pale as a sheet.

Her blue eyes had turned dimmer. The nine seconds she had, had gotten much shorter forcing her to burn her own soul to hold on.

He gritted his teeth and cursed at his own weakness then flew up. He roared, his roar spread out and shook the sky.

Without a care for his own safety he lunged at the giant wind falcon. He burnt the divine flames of the wings of Garuda.

The divine weapon screamed like a dying beast but it gave him speed, a lot of speed, he continued accelerating up.

His body hit an invisible wall he could not break but he continued. ' Faster faster faster.'

He screamed in his head and burnt the flames of divinity even more. The black flames blazed to the sky like dancing shadows.

Their darkness devoured all the other colours surrounding Ved from his other enhancement abilities.

BOOOOM, he broke the invisible wall and turned into a black streak that moved faster than light.

However his body couldn't withstand that speed and started breaking down and healing itself over and over again.

All of this happened in a split moment catching the ancestor off guard. Before he could react Ved was already upon him.

Ved opened his mouth and used everything he had. His bite force was the strongest thing in his arsenal.

Unfortunately he couldn't use it often because his enemies are usually too small and fast to bite or too weak for it to be necessary.

However it was different this time, the bird was big and it was caught off guard. His teeth turned black as they were coated with martial intent.

Then black mist gathered around them and condensed, turning into a pitch black liquid that smelled of death itself.

The moment that liquid appeared his image shook and swayed, the black roots of Yggdrasil seemed to dance with joy.

This was black death in its most condensed form. " Dragon Style: Bite of death." He sunk his teeth into the bird's neck.

It screeched so loudly he felt his organs rattle. Ved infused the black death into its neck and something inconceivable happened.

The black death poison in liquid form seemed to corrode the laws themselves, it was a small spot, barely the size of a marble but it should've been impossible.

This did not catch only Ved by surprise but the ancestor as well. He had not expected to take actual damage from him as well no matter how little.

This made his rage blow up, the winds churned and shook with his anger. He ignored Naledi and turned to face Ved.

" I'm sorry." Ved was slapped with a wing infused with such dense laws it was shining, his body exploded into a blood mist without a single complete piece of his body remaining.

" NOOOOOOOO." Naledi screamed, the ancestor grinned mockingly at her, then she grinned back catching him by surprise.

Before he could react another Ved appeared behind him with his mouth wide open. A pure silver light glowed inside it.

" Dragon Breath." A beam of silver energy shot out like a spear that lit up the sky brighter than the moon.
