Prince Arthur’s ancestor appeared next to him. Arthur recounted what had happened, his ancestor spread out his soul sense and searched.
But Naledi was long gone, the ancestor of the Kadaris empire roared with fury, he glared his at his useless descendant with disappointment.
Naledi reached the island, unlike Ved she couldn’t turn into mist but she can teleport using her snow transformation ability.
To be specific it wasn’t a transformation ability at all. It appeared as if her body turns into snow when she teleport.
She teleported inside since there wasn’t an entrance to the cavern large enough for her to pass through.
There she found Ved still healing, his image was still working over time to heal him but he was no longer in danger.
She of course noticed his body and soul had grown stronger as well. She smiled then drank the soul drop she had.
A wave of cold energy courses through her soul strengthening it. She opened her eyes with surprise.
She had thought the soul drop could merely strengthen her soul but it went beyond that in every way.
It purified her essence energy, increased not only the volume but density of her will. The world around became clearer.
Her vessel started drawing in more essence energy increasing her cultivation speed by a small margin.
However she couldn’t help but frown, she could tell the effect were limited by something.
Her soul couldn’t grow stronger than this in her cultivation level. She faced the same thing Ved faced.
For him, his body couldn’t grow beyond a certain level as that would place a burden on his soul.
In her case it was the opposite, her soul has reached the limit of how strong it can get because its container was not strong enough.
That meant if she wanted to grow stronger she would need to find a way to increase her physical strength.
But as a human, her body was naturally weaker and that was made worse by her being a woman.
Normally her gender wouldn’t play any role as essence could easily give her the ability to breach the gap.
However once essence is removed, unless a woman had a vessel specifically made to strengthen her body.
She would naturally be physically weaker than a man in the same situation, even with the introduction of cultivation that biological trait had not changed.
People had just forgotten because essence energy and abilities made the difference meaningless.
It had always been small to begin with. She chose to stop thinking about for now and took out her two artefacts.
One was blue sphere that looked like a snow globe. It was called the orb of eternal winter. A treasure left by her predecessor for her.
When Naledi thought back to the projection of her predecessor she found sitting on the throne she frowned.
Then shook her head, the orb of eternal winter was a support type artefact. It contained a vast space packed dense with ice essence and laws.
Its main purpose is to assist with her cultivation but it can also be used to regenerate essence during a fight.
Unfortunately the energy inside was not endless and it took time for it to regenerate back.
She dropped her blood into the artefact turning it into a soul bound artefact. Then she placed it in her soul.
She sat cross legged and sank deep into her soul. Her soul space was a vast land with an endless blue pool below.
The pool radiated energy so cold it could freeze thoughts, of course it could not effect her for this was her essence energy.
Above it floated a beautiful blue sword so vast it seemed to pierce the heavens. This was her vessel.
A tiny blue fairy flew out of the sword and flew at her. The fairy flew around Naledi happily and sprinkled snow on her.
The snow was ticklish making Naledi giggle. This was her vessel spirit which Naledi named Aquarelle.
Unfortunately it was still too young and couldn’t assist her in a fight, but its presence alone make her abilities stronger.
Her vessel itself hasn’t grown stronger but it was as if it was wielded by two people, even though Aquarelle’s assistance was minor it still helped.
Naledi flew up with Aquarelle on her shoulder. Above the hilt of the sword floated a new object.
It was the orb of eternal winter, in her soul space it looked as vast as a moon. She floated to it and placed her hand in it.
She could feel the dense essence energy and laws inside. Even Aquarelle looked at it with longing.
Naledi gave her a nod, Aquarelle danced around happily. Then the vessel sword flew up.
Its hilt sank into the orb of eternal winter then its entire body followed. The strings connecting the vessel to Naledi’s grew thicker.
She felt a wave of pure essence energy course through her muscles strengthening her.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the type of strengthening she wanted. Her body was still weak, this was merely an energy enhancement.
It couldn’t help her withstand a stronger a soul. She forgot about it and continued watching inside her soul space.
Her vessel sucked up the pure ice essence energy inside the orb like a greedy beast. It took around four hours until it was done.
The vessel flew back down then the essence energy was poured into the pool below. The essence pool grew.
It kept growing larger and Naledi kept growing stronger. Eventually it reached an invisible barrier.
Yet the vessel did not stop, Naledi was a divinity, cultivation bottlenecks We’re nothing to her.
Her will surged and bombarded the invisible barrier. It easily shattered then the essence pool grew even wider.
When that happened, her vessel drew more essence from the outside, a phenomenon that only happens during a break through.
Naledi had reached mid rank 6, before she expected to take at least 7 more years before she could break through to mid stage but now.
With a single cultivation session using the orb of eternal winter, she was able to break through.
Unfortunately the energy inside the orb has ran out and from the looks of it would take around 3 to 4 years before she could use it again.
Still, this thing would speed up her cultivation speed by hundreds of times. She had expected to take around 50 years to reach peak rank 6.
With this though, she might be able to do it in around 20, a significantly less time. Even so, her speed couldn’t match Ved as long as he has food.
He could even reach the peak in a single day, something she was greatly envious of.
Lost in her thoughts she suddenly felt a loving gaze on her. She opened her eyes and saw two gigantic eyes staring at her.
She smiled gently, " Welcome back my love." A tear fell down her face, she had almost lost him and that terrified her.
