As long as you have the courage, fierce ghosts go on maternity leave.

Chapter 336: I give you power! I give you courage!

Chapter 336: I give you power! I give you courage!

Upon witnessing this spectacle, everyone from Dark Hell to Lake City, from an eminent Ghost Emperor like Untold to the lowliest wandering spirits, were all astounded.

To bestow forbidden energy was exceedingly rare, but not unheard of—even if it happened once in a century. But a hundred at once? Wasn’t that a bit excessive?

Moreover, this was just the first squadron; there were still billions more troops to come.

It brought one thing into sharp focus: these forbidden energy were not acquired by chance. They were manufactured, and in bulk, by the very Dark Hell Emperor standing before them.

Could forbidden energy really be mass-produced?

Even as eyewitnesses, many found it hard to believe.

"Tony, follow the command!"

In the midst of their astonishment, Tony promptly returned to his squad with the Ghost Pills and distributed them.

Instantly, streams of forbidden power enveloped them; hundreds simultaneously possessed the power of the forbidden.

Now, all doubt was erased. Their eyes, flushed with a feverish glow, remained fixed on Alexander, eager to see if he had more to offer.

Alexander did not disappoint. After Tony stepped back, he immediately bellowed:

"Dark Hell, Edward! Step forward to receive your orders!"

A gust of wind and snow swept out of nowhere. Amid the blizzard, Edward’s figure gracefully descended, kneeling on one knee.

"Edward present!"

"I command you to lead an army of millions and conquer a hundred ghost cities. You may depart at once! In the name of the Great Emperor of Dark Hell, I bestow upon you the forbidden!"

The same command was issued, and again hundreds of Ghost Pills were tossed.

"Edward, obey!"

With a roar, Edward stood up, taking a Ghost Pill and promptly swallowing one.

"Dark Hell, Su Rong! Step forward!"

"Su Rong present!"

"Dark Hell, Annie! Step forward!"

"Annie present!"

...

"Nether World, Ares! Step forward!"

...

"Callum! Step forward!"

...

Sam, Electric Ghost, Head-Holding Ghost, Terence, Abigail, Kassadin...

One by one, familiar faces stepped up to receive Alexander’s orders, each swallowing a Ghost Pill.

The specters around them no longer displayed eyes of envy, but rather gazes filled with aspiration and admiration.

Watching Alexander tirelessly appoint one commander after another, dispersing Ghost Pills with each appointment, their ghostly blood seemed to boil, to burn—they were itching to join the ranks.

Finally, when all of Dark Hell’s army had received their appointments, Alexander’s gaze shifted to Untold and the others, then to the citizens of Lake City. The orb representing the talent of Unobstructed Social Communication Charm Syndrome began to spin frantically.

This was an extra benefit brought about by Alexander’s numerous experiments in refining Ghost Pills. Repeatedly harnessing his talent to absorb and purify forbidden energy had allowed him to achieve an astounding level of mastery over it.

Previously, Unobstructed Social Communication Charm Syndrome had functioned like a passive video game skill. For example, gifting a bone ring to someone with zero goodwill would magically increase their goodwill by thirty points. There were many such items—tombstone roses, for instance.

Originally, his interaction with Su Rong was greatly facilitated by a tombstone rose, which significantly increased her goodwill, leading to subsequent events. Although this process had always been fundamental to Alexander’s strength, he had merely given away items, ignorant of the underlying principles.

But now, after refining Ghost Pills, Alexander had gained deep insights into Unobstructed Social Communication Charm Syndrome. In essence, it was pure emotional energy. Giving flowers or rings was merely a method to trigger this energy.

Now, masterful in controlling his talent, Alexander no longer needed such mediums. This time, he actively released the emotional energy contained within his Unobstructed Social Communication Charm Syndrome talent to directly affect others.

Invisible ripples emanated from Alexander, and once more, a thunderous voice boomed over Lake City.

"Do you remember what I just said? You are afraid; you live in fear; you believe the Mist World is invincible! But now, I give you power! I give you courage! I promise that when the time comes for the final battle against the Mist World, you will all possess the power of the forbidden!"

As his words reverberated, the eyes of the Lake City specters widened, as if struck by lightning. They were utterly transfixed.

Ignoring their reactions, Alexander continued, "Now, are you content to be bullied by the Mist World? Are you content to be livestock kept in a pen? Tell me, are you?"

"No!"

"We’re not content!"

With an unidentified shout serving as the catalyst, everyone began to yell. Their voices were not harmonized but were exceptionally resounding—so loud, in fact, that they were beyond resounding.

It was the frenzied screaming of people who saw unprecedented hope. Like a flash flood, like a tsunami, each wave rising higher than the last.

Every specter’s face turned red, shouting till they were hoarse, shouting in hysteria, their facial features contorting. The overcast sky above seemed to disperse with the rumbling wave of voices, and the earth itself quivered as if to issue its own roar of discontent.

"Now tell me, do you dare to have a final battle with the Mist World?"

Surrounding Alexander were a billion Emperor blades, forming a colossal blade array that shielded the sky, as if escorting a king. Bolts of thunder flickered between the blades, creating a massive sea of lightning.

Standing amid this sea, his voice rang out like a resounding bell: "Do you dare?"

"We dare!"

Below, over three billion ghosts shouted in unison.

Everyone’s goodwill was skyrocketing at an insane speed, including Untold, Isolde, and even the Ghost Emperors who had been forcibly subdued by Alexander earlier.

This was not merely due to Alexander’s talent but also their collective obsession—the indomitable will of the entire Horror World!

No one could understand their plight—oppressed and exploited, like livestock, ground down of all courage, a world in the abyss. When a glimmer of hope shone upon them, it could stir up incredible turbulence in this sunless abyss.

"Good! Well done!"

A pleased smile appeared on Alexander’s face. But in the next instant, his expression became severe: "Untold, step forward!"

Untold Ghost Emperor could never have dreamed that Alexander would actually call his name. In a flash, his goodwill maxed out—this time, genuinely maxed out.

Without hesitation, Untold Ghost Emperor dropped to one knee. His blood boiling and burning, he roared in the most manic voice he had ever used, "Untold is here!"

"Commanding you to lead one billion troops of Lake City, divided into a hundred teams, to attack and loot the ghost city. Any objections?" Alexander boomed.

"Untold obeys!"

Untold didn’t even ask Alexander if he had any Ghost Pills; he simply accepted the order resoundingly.
