Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins

Chapter 330-He Speaks My Language Now

Chapter 330-He Speaks My Language Now

Lara:

She could not even defend herself.

Then I felt sharp pinches on my legs and realized the little shitheads were pinching me, trying to save their grandmother.

"Oh, fuck off," I snapped, swinging my arm to pull them away and throwing them both to the side.

That was when Lady Vivian scratched my hand, and I pulled away from her.

"What the fuck did you do?" I screamed.

She rushed to the kids, hugging them while crying with them.

"I was so fucking wrong. I was rude to their mother, yet her children are the ones trying to fight for me. Now I realize pure blood does not come from an alpha," Lady Vivian hissed, calling me impure in comparison to Iris.

As I turned my head to the side, I saw Kash standing in the doorway.

Of course, his mother had not seen him yet.

I knew I had to come up with a quick plan because I had not expected him to return so soon.

"Ah," I cried, holding my hand. "Why would you scratch me?"

I let out a small whimper.

Lady Vivian had no idea Kash was standing there.

"Because that is what you deserve for..."

Before she could explain herself or claim it had been self-defense, Kash stepped forward. She saw him then, and her eyes widened.

She quickly got to her feet. The two little brats ran to their father and clung to his legs.

"Look, Kash, what she’s doing. She’s making them cry," Lady Vivian complained, trying to accuse me before I could explain myself.

I looked at Kash and then lowered my gaze, still holding the spot where she had scratched me.

"What is wrong with you?" I whimpered. "Why are you doing this to me?"

My voice cracked as I started to tremble.

Lady Vivian stared between me and her son in shock.

"What happened to your arm?" Kash asked, stepping toward me.

His children slipped back, stunned that their father did not hug them. He came straight to me.

"Your mother attacked me. Look," I said, pointing at the scratches.

"No, I didn’t. I mean, it was self-defense," Lady Vivian protested.

Kash held my arm, checking the scratches.

"I just heard you say you did it," Kash snapped at his mother.

Her jaw dropped.

He then looked at his children. His attention shifted to them again.

The two ran to him, and he quickly lifted them into his arms.

"But she had my hair in her hand. She was shaking me," Lady Vivian cried, her voice breaking.

That made Amy and Colin cry too.

"No, that is not the truth. They were running around, and I came downstairs to tell them to be careful. I did not want them to fall and hurt themselves. Their mother is not here, and if something happens to them, everyone will think their stepmother did not care enough."

I sniffled and covered my face with my hands.

"Then your mother appeared and started screaming at me. She said that now that Iris was gone, I did not have to act like I owned this place. She said nobody could own this place except her."

"She’s lying. She was screaming at us. She pushed us," Amy suddenly spoke.

My heart stopped for a moment before I forced myself to think quickly.

When I looked up from my hands, everyone was staring at me.

Even Markus and Zoe had come downstairs after hearing the commotion.

"Of course they will say that. Your mother has been teaching them to hate me," I mumbled, hugging myself and turning my back to them.

I acted confused and scared. Fooling Kash would not be easy.

Then suddenly Kash took my side.

"Mother, seriously, what is wrong with Lara taking care of them?" he shouted.

Even I froze in surprise.

I had not expected it to be that easy to fool him.

Maybe it was because his previous relationship had fallen apart.

Maybe he was being extra cautious and trying to make this one work at any cost.

I wanted to smile so badly, but I did not. Instead, I began to sob.

"You are believing her and not us?" Zoe asked him.

I rolled my eyes, thankful my back was still turned.

"This is getting out of hand. I cannot come home and find out that you have been abusing my pregnant mate," Kash yelled at his mother.

I heard her gasp and turned slightly to see her face.

"Kash, you think I would stoop that low?" his mother asked, sniffing.

"Well, I know what you used to do to Iris."

As soon as Kash said that, my spine stiffened.

"The recordings from years ago when she left were hidden so I could not see them. Millions were paid to keep them hidden since they could not be permanently deleted," Kash explained.

I began to feel uneasy about what he was saying.

"You three kicked Iris out of this mansion. She did not plan to leave, but she had no other choice, did she?"

The hair on the back of my neck stood up. Kash had researched an incident from so long ago.

I became very careful.

"I... I was wrong."

Lady Vivian did not try to hide it anymore. She caved immediately and began apologizing.

"Well, I cannot let history repeat itself," Kash grunted, sounding furious.

"I think it is better if we take Lara’s suggestion seriously."

As he said those words, everyone looked at Kash, wondering what he meant. Even I watched him in silence.

"Here is what we will do. I will get you all a mansion and help you move."

Kash shocked me.

His mother let out a loud gasp. She broke down, and her daughter rushed to hug her.

But Kash looked completely determined about what he had decided.

My heart pounded hard against my chest. I turned to Zoe and saw her glaring at me.

Her mother was crying as well.

"Anyway, it is important that an alpha understands his responsibilities."

Kash’s words were practically mine.

It was funny. Just a few days ago, he had been speaking Iris’s mind, and now he was shifting into my tone.
