Chapter 331-He Is Kicking Them Out
Chapter 331-He Is Kicking Them Out
Lara:
Kash had walked out.
After everything was settled, his mother was crying, but thankfully he did not try to stop them.
Of course, I knew she was trying to cry and do the same things she always did, trying to look miserable and all that shit.
But thankfully, it did not work. Kash did not stop them. He simply gave his decision and walked away.
I rushed after him into the room to see what kind of mood he was in, afraid he might suddenly be angry about everything.
However, he was not.
He gave me a smile and gestured for me to help him with his clothes.
I quickly got up and handed him his shorts and the black shirt I knew he liked to wear for comfort.
"I’m so sorry," I whispered, standing behind him and pouting.
He turned around and gave me a confused look.
"Sorry for what?" he asked in the sweetest, calmest tone.
"Because of me, all this is happening. I wondered if you think I am the reason your family is going through so much," I uttered, still pouting as I watched him.
He stared at me for a moment, then shook his head.
"Are you kidding me? No. I don’t feel that way. You did not start it. It has been happening for a very long time. Now you have suddenly become a victim of their anger and jealousy," he explained in the kindest words.
I gave him a smile.
"Thank you so much for understanding that I only want the best for Zoe," I said, blinking softly.
I could not believe it was so easy to get rid of Iris first, and now Lady Vivian, Zoe, and Markus.
Did that mean that maybe next week the kids would be transferred to the guest house?
As soon as the guest house came to mind, I remembered Iris’s father and those idiots James and Luca.
James was still at the guest house. They needed to go.
Seriously, why the fuck were they still there?
Their daughter had ruined everything, the peace of this mansion.
Why had they not been kicked out? But I could not demand so much for now.
"Now go and get dinner prepared. I will give them the keys to the separate mansion at the dinner table," Kash explained, gently touching my cheek.
I guessed he had realized the urgency of resolving the issues before it was too late.
Days were passing and the conditions were only getting worse.
So I guessed he realized he needed to separate us quickly before any harm came to me.
"Thank you," I said, unable to stop myself from smiling as I walked out of the room.
The moment I entered the living room, I noticed Lady Vivian and Zoe still standing in the corner crying.
The moment they saw me, Lady Vivian sniffled and pushed forward, walking toward me.
"How could you do this? After everything I have done for you, after how I chose you over Iris," she whimpered, her body shaking.
I guess I had gone a little too far by physically assaulting her, but that was just the beginning.
If she refused to leave, I would hit her again.
"What? I didn’t do anything. That is all in your head. You have a habit of beating and being rude to your daughter-in-law," I replied arrogantly.
I mean, Kash was wrapped around my pinky finger.
I had no reason to lie in front of others to make myself look good anymore.
"Have you always been this way? How did I fail to understand that?" Lady Vivian questioned, leaning closer to my face as if she could crawl into my head and see whether I had planned this all along.
"It is not me who is the problem. Maybe you are the one. Can’t you see none of your daughters-in-laws love you? Maybe you are the problem." I shrugged.
"Anyway, I’m not going to waste my time on you. Kash told me to prepare dinner, and at the table he will give you the keys to your new mansion so you can all get the fuck out of here," I said bitterly, watching Lady Vivian gasp and cover her mouth.
She turned to look at Zoe, who had been awfully silent.
I thought she would start the ruckus, but she was the calmest one, as if she wanted to leave too.
"You know, I begin to wonder if I had given this much love to Iris, would she have turned out differently?" Lady Vivian whispered, tears streaming down her face.
I waved my hand dismissively.
"Oh please. You’re so vindictive. You know she did the worst thing, and yet you are trying to pin us against each other." My eyes rolled at her words.
"Well, good news for you. There is no competition. She was caught with your son-in-law. So quit trying to convince yourself that she was any better. As for you two, I never wanted you to stay here. I genuinely thought you were mooching off my husband for far too long."
Now that I was speaking bitterly, and Kash was entirely on my side, I did not have to be afraid of anything.
I was openly and shamelessly calling them out.
Lady Vivian started to shake her head as if in disbelief.
"I deserve it," she whispered to herself. "I truly do. For what I did to my son’s first marriage, I do."
She let out a hopeless whimper while I rolled my eyes.
Honestly, I had no clue why they were acting as if Iris would have turned out differently just because I had been rude to them.
Now they were suddenly placing all their hopes on her.
"Have you always wanted to kick us out?" Zoe finally spoke up.
I smirked. That smirk alone should have been enough for them to know that it had been the plan all along.
"Well, for starters," I paused. "Yes." I smirked.
"I truly think you have spent way too much money. You have spent Kash’s money for years and years. Now you should just fucking leave," I muttered, watching the two of them stare at me as if I had kicked them in the stomach.
"Now I’ll go prepare the food, because tomorrow your shifting will begin," I said, clapping happily, feeling successful while Lady Vivian turned to Zoe and cried miserably.
