Chapter 329-Abusing His Family
Chapter 329-Abusing His Family
Lara:
Everything went perfectly. Kash did not believe his family.
After he had been betrayed by his first mate, I had suspected something like this would happen.
I thought it might make him feel closer to me and realize he needed to make amends with at least one of his mates.
Now he was very sweet and understanding toward me.
Thankfully, he was not afraid to take my side in a way that would upset his family.
From their faces, it was clear they were holding back cries or protests.
When I stepped out of the room to see what was going on, I found him standing on the stairs while his mother cried below.
She was on the first floor, probably about to say something dramatic to get his attention and make him feel bad for her. That was exactly what I intended to stop.
"Kash," I called out.
His mother lifted her head from the ground and looked up the stairs to see her son standing there.
Kash turned to me, acknowledging me.
Then he held out his hand for me to take it because I was acting as if I could barely walk without support.
I was not that far along in the pregnancy, but I still had to play the part.
I walked downstairs with him, and we passed his family as if they did not even exist. After that, the day became very peaceful.
Kash asked the maids to bring the food downstairs so I could enjoy it with him in the room.
Kash had asked me to move into his room, but I couldn’t move in with him.
Today, I was finally going to stay with him there. Previously, I wanted to do it, but his children started crying and ended up staying with him.
Now, after some time had passed, they were taken back to their own room, and the place felt peaceful again.
I thought I would have to get rid of Iris’s clothes. But when I entered his room, I realized everything had already been packed up.
An entire section of the room had been left empty for me. After that, Kash left for work, as he always did.
I was not pushing him toward intimacy because I knew that would push him too far.
Still, I was ready to face his mother now. I knew she would be crying tears of blood over the way I had taken him from her.
I had only taken a short nap when I began to hear shouting from outside.
I woke up as if I were on fire. I got out of bed, and the moment I stepped into the living room, the children saw me.
"Why are you in Mommy’s room?" they asked dramatically, and I clenched my jaw.
"Why are you two shouting at this time?" I shouted at the top of my voice.
Both of them pressed close to each other.
"We were just playing," Colin explained, trying to play the role of the elder brother who saved his sister every time.
Then there was Amy.
She always had that very annoying look on her face, as if the world belonged to her.
As if this place belonged to her father.
I mean, this was her father’s mansion, but she was no longer the only child who could claim it.
"Well then, you shitheads need to know that you’re not supposed to play here. Go fucking play outside," I screamed, pointing toward the exit door.
"But it is dark outside," Amy uttered.
"Then why aren’t you sleeping if it is so dark outside?" I yelled.
I knew the sun had already gone down.
In two hours, their father would be home too.
I had to teach them a lesson before he arrived.
Amy’s lip started to curl downward while Colin noticed.
"You’re not allowed to speak to my sister this way," he protested.
As soon as he said that, I lunged at him.
I grabbed his arm and shoved him back.
However, Lady Vivian rushed in and caught him before he fell.
The two little shitheads began to cry almost instantly, trying to gather attention.
Lady Vivian turned to glare at me.
"Who the heck allowed you to touch my grandchildren?" she screamed at the top of her voice, shaking with anger.
Of course, she was going to take her anger out on me because of earlier.
"Well, I’m the owner of this place, the queen of queens. Tell your shitheads to stop making noise," I shouted, my fists clenching.
Lady Vivian’s mouth hung open and her eyes widened as if she were in disbelief.
Why did she act like I was doing something new every time?
Did she not know I had already been pretending to be nice?
"I cannot believe I trusted you," she whispered.
"I cannot believe I trusted you," I mocked, mimicking her tone with exaggerated expressions.
Then I rolled my eyes.
"Now you know, right? So get the fuck out of here. Go and play in the garden. Ugh, I have to tolerate you people. Soon I will get rid of you, your shitty daughter, her husband, and these two little shitheads," I continued shouting, pointing at the children.
They were now clinging to her, and she was hugging them as if my words might kill them. They were so dramatic.
"No, you’re not going to treat them this way. And to think his mother had been so kind. She treated even her worst enemies with respect. Yet here you are, treating her children like this."
The moment Lady Vivian began to bring up Iris to compare her with me, something snapped inside me.
I lunged at her and grabbed her hair in my fist.
The children gasped, and Lady Vivian turned completely pale.
"Say one more word, you bitch, and I will break your teeth," I screamed at her, glaring into her eyes while shaking her head, her hair still tangled between my fingers.
Suddenly, she began to shiver in fear or shock, I could not tell.
