Chapter 937: A Nickname for their Baby

Jane blinked several times, trying to process Nathan's last remarks.

"Dad! Is it true? I am getting another baby brother or baby sister?" Ethan's enthusiasm could be heard in his tone.

Nathan nodded in response.

Ethan smiled broadly, clapping his hands and jumping with excitement, along with Mia.

Mr. Hiroshi, Old Man Xu, and Old Master Yan also rejoiced, laughing out loud as they congratulated the couple. They couldn't contain their happiness after hearing the good news.

"Oh, Sis! I'm so happy for both of you!" Abigail exclaimed as she approached Jane, hugging her.

Dave chuckled as he scratched the back of his head. "You beat us again, brother-in-law!" He teased him.

He and Abigail had also planned to settle down and have a child, but Jane and Nathan were already ahead of them.

Meanwhile, Axel grabbed Chantha's hand and looked at her meaningfully. With his gaze, he expressed his desire to start a family with her. The love story between their Supreme Leader and Jane gave them inspiration.

"Don't worry. We are going to catch up with them," Chantha whispered, winking at him.

Axel couldn't help but blush at her last remarks.

Kathleen, Aiden's cousin, also expressed her joy as she congratulated the couple. "I want to be the godmother of your second child!" She volunteered.

"Me too!" Aiden also raised his hand along with Stephen.

"Let us become your second child's godparents!" Cherry joined the conversation.

Everyone couldn't hide their excitement. However, Jane remained quiet in her spot. She still couldn't believe it.

"How did you know about this?" She asked Nathan curiously.

"Your doctor called me yesterday. He informed me about the good news," Nathan replied.

Jane finally realized the reason why Nathan refrained from touching her yesterday. He already knew that she was carrying a child in her belly.

This time, everything finally sank in. Jane's lips curled up into a bright smile, and her eyes sparkled with delight.

"Have you thought of a name for your second child?" Madam Priya asked the couple.

Nathan and Jane exchanged glances with one another.

"We haven't decided yet." Nathan simply responded. "I will let Jane decide on our baby's name. But if it's a boy… I want to give him a nickname… I'll call him… Baby Bam-Bam."

Tears suddenly welled up in Jane's eyes when Bam-Bam's name was mentioned.

'Bam-Bam… our savior…' she thought.

"Yes. I would also want to give him that nickname! If it's my baby bro, I will definitely call him Bam-Bam!" Ethan also spoke up.

After entertaining their family and friends, Nathan finally found time to bring Jane upstairs and be with her alone. They excused themselves, telling everyone that Jane needed some rest.

"Are you happy with my surprise?" Nathan asked her. He was carrying her in his arms.

Jane wrapped her arms around his neck as she bobbed her head. "You really know how to keep a secret," She pinched his right cheek, then she giggled.

"Thanks, Nate, for sharing this piece of good news with our family and friends."

Nathan planted a soft kiss on her forehead before he gently put her down on the bed. He kneeled in front of her, placing his head on her belly.

"Jane… I feel so blessed because I have found you. I will protect you and our children. I swear… no one will be able to hurt you… ever again."

Jane softly stroked his hair. "I know, Nate. Don't worry. I will also protect you. Remember. I'm Phantomflake. This time… I won't use my skills to assassinate someone… but to protect my loved ones… You and family… including my friends."

Nathan lifted his head and gazed up to look at her. "Jane, I'm planning to step down as the leader of Syphiruz Mafia. I want to live as a normal person, away from the danger of the underground world. I just want to be with you and our children. I'm passing the leadership to Axel… what do you think about my decision?"

Jane cupped his face and smiled. "I will support you on this. But you have to consult Axel and Chantha first. Let's ask them if they are willing to accept this heavy responsibility.
