Chapter 352: Let Him Hear the Recording
Chapter 352: Let Him Hear the Recording
"The company recently opened a new seafood restaurant, right by the sea, and I’d like to take you there for dinner." Adrian Lancaster glanced out the window, "The weather is nice today, the sky is blue, and there should be a magnificent sunset."
Faye Turner observed his profile, elegant and handsome under the sun’s glow.
She lifted the corners of her lips, displaying an expression of anticipation.
Then she blissfully linked her arm with his, "Okay." She leaned into his shoulder like a little bird.
Such a partner is cherished by every man. When he looked out the window, his striking face appeared even more sophisticated and handsome.
The two of them tacitly avoided mentioning the news from today while in the car.
But Adrian Lancaster thought that he ought to explain in person later. It’s a matter of attitude; he wanted to live well.
That’s why he purposely chose a place with such a good atmosphere, hoping that good moods would make any issues negligible for girls.
When the weather is nice, the sea is brilliantly blue and especially beautiful.
Orange-red sunset hues bathed the sea, making the vast blue ocean sparkle and shimmer.
The gentle sea breeze, lush green coconut trees, soft sand, and the occasional seagull soaring across the sky...
Perfect and relaxing.
The Lamborghini stopped in front of The Seaview Restaurant, and Adrian Lancaster helped Faye Turner out of the car. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders as they walked into the front entrance of the restaurant.
"Good evening, President Lancaster, Madam."
The restaurant was not serving other guests today, and the chefs and wait staff were awaiting their arrival.
The Seaview Restaurant had a prime location, and even the railings on the dining terrace behind them were made of glass, meticulously cleaned to a high shine.
The beautiful sunset light reflected off the goblets filled with some juice, creating a stunning visual effect.
She was pregnant, so she couldn’t drink red wine.
Although today’s menu included seafood, it was the kind suitable for pregnant women, carefully curated by a nutritionist.
Adrian Lancaster seated Faye Turner at a spot by the glass railing, about ten meters above the beach, allowing for a better view of the ocean.
Faye Turner had just sat down and couldn’t resist taking out her phone to capture the beautiful scenery. The sea breeze tousled her hair, giving her an alluring beauty.
Adrian Lancaster’s gaze fell on her, his expression growing exceedingly gentle.
The server brought the last dish, "President Lancaster, Madam, please enjoy." After bowing respectfully, they retreated to the entrance of the terrace, giving the couple ample space.
Seeing the smile on his wife’s face, she was like a child, enchanted by the scenery, and Adrian Lancaster had a faint smile on his lips.
"By the way, there’s something I need to discuss with you before dinner." Faye Turner’s eyes focused, turning off the camera and looking at him seriously.
"Go ahead," he replied.
"Someone wants me to discuss with you the possibility of initiating a divorce." She looked into his deep eyes, speaking with clarity, then observed his expression.
Adrian Lancaster’s expression gradually turned cold, "Who?"
Faye Turner opened the recording on her phone, and Sienna’s voice came out—
"Faye, he doesn’t really love you!"
"It’s only because you resemble me somewhat that he married you! Now that I’m back, I hope you’ll step aside!"
Hearing this, Adrian Lancaster’s eyes dimmed.
Faye Turner gently placed the phone on the table, noticing that Adrian’s thick, strong brows gradually furrowed, his sharp, cold gaze fixed on the phone.
Sienna’s voice continued—
"He married you, but his heart is with me. Can you tolerate that?"
"If you get divorced, you can take a part of his wealth, live comfortably for the rest of your life, and possibly even meet your true love."
"Think about it. You’re just a substitute; the one he loves is me."
"Alright," Faye Turner said lightly, "I will think about it, I’ll discuss the divorce with Adrian at home."
Upon hearing this, Adrian Lancaster’s eyes flickered.
