Chapter 302 - 301: Damian, If You Don’t Wait for Me, I’ll Cry

Chapter 302 - 301: Damian, If You Don’t Wait for Me, I’ll Cry

Looking at the creepy tunnel ahead with no end in sight, Bella Acker was feeling a bit cowardly.

"Damian, are you sure we can’t go back? You’re not tricking me, right?" Bella pitifully looked up at him.

She was the one who wanted to come in; now she’s the one too scared to move forward.

Just like their relationship. She was the one to mess with him first, and she’s the one who betrayed him in the end.

Damian Sinclair wanted to knock her on the head, but to avoid actually doing it, he took a decisive step forward.

Bella, who had been holding his finger, felt it slip away and was startled, daringly chasing after him.

"Damian, wait for me, it’s so scary here!" She hurriedly chased after him, her voice filled with frantic nervousness and fear.

But Damian, who had just been thinking about their relationship issues, felt his anger rising, and even hearing the fear in her voice didn’t make him stop.

Seeing that she was about to lose him, Bella became anxious and scared, and instinctively said in a huff, "Damian, if you don’t wait for me, I’ll cry!"

An adult who used crying as a threat — aside from Bella, no one else would do that.

"Hahaha, someone this scared, huh."

"See, I’m not the most cowardly one here!"

Bella and her group, consisting of two or three couples, laughed upon hearing this.

However, the laughter was all in good fun, without any malice.

A guy said, "Dude, your girlfriend’s about to cry, better go protect her!"

"Exactly, exactly, now’s the time to hug her tight and show your charm!"

Several couples actually stopped moving forward, staying back to enjoy the show.

Bella blushed bright red, ceasing her faux crying, and looked at Damian with a pitiful face, like an abandoned puppy.

Damian’s brow twitched, but he finally walked back quickly, grabbed her hand, and started walking forward again.

There was no choice; leaving her there would be even more embarrassing.

Bella curled her lips into a smile and tightened her fingers to grip his hand back.

For some reason, or maybe to match her pace, Damian gradually slowed down.

Bella clung tightly to his hand, leaning against him, feeling blissful, with her mind a happy blank.

When they finally saw the sunlight at the exit, she realized they had already finished the haunted house.

As for what they encountered along the way, aside from the initial scare, her mind was a complete blank as if she floated through it.

Once out of the haunted house, Bella pretended not to notice, holding onto Damian’s hand, unwilling to let go.

Damian glanced at her, withdrawing his hand, and said, "I’m going to the restroom."

"Huh? Damian, were you scared too?" Bella, unable to process, widened her eyes.

Damian’s eye twitched; did she think he was scared enough to wet himself?

Bella quickly realized and gestured with her hands to explain, "Damian, I... I didn’t mean it like that, you... you go ahead, I’ll wait for you outside."

Damian seemed to snort coldly, turning to head to the restroom, somewhat sullenly.

Bella stuck out her little tongue at his back, making a playful face before following.

The restroom in the amusement park typically had a lot of visitors, and Bella waited outside for a while without seeing him come out. Her eyes turned, and spotting someone dressed in a dog costume coming, she immediately ran over.
