Chapter 95: Ch 95: Zone Zero of the Absolute Void

Emrys didn’t find the names Ye Yun and Mu Bailing strange. The Infinite Soul Star was filled with people with all sorts of names. Not to mention, before his transmigration, he was an ordinary man in a different world that also had diverse names and cultures.

"So... Do you know what this Mysterious Sky Fruit is?" Emrys asked, deciding to start with the most immediate question on his mind. "You don’t know?" Ye Yun, Mu Bailing, and Jing Jun raised their eyebrows in surprise. They didn’t expect someone who could enter the Mysterious Sky Valley to be unaware of the Mysterious Sky Fruit.

"I don’t know," Emrys replied honestly, shaking his head.

Ye Yun and the others were surprised but didn’t mind explaining a few things. Ye Yun began, "Since you entered this spatial zone, you must be here to find a way to walk down the path of Cosmic Cultivation, right?"

Emrys was about to shake his head and explain that he was not, that he had just been thrown here by Elysia Nightshade, but before he could, Ye Yun continued, "Then you must know that there are several ways we could start cultivating the Cosmic Ways in this space. The Mysterious Sky Fruit is one of them."

Emrys was taken aback. Not only was this his first time learning about the Cosmic Cultivation Path, but he was also surprised to discover that there were several ways to start walking this path inside this space.

Ye Yun, unaware of Emrys’s thoughts, continued, "As you might already know, this space is a fragment of an ancient world hovering in Zone Zero of the Absolute Void. It’s a remnant of ancient times, the only place where Cosmic Cultivation is still possible. It is also the only place where beginning the Cosmic Cultivation is possible. There is no way for anyone to walk the path of Cosmic Cultivation in the outside world. It might be because this shattered world is a fragment left behind by an era when Cosmic Cultivation was still possible."

"It is said that back then, when the sky of this world shattered, a drop from the essence of the original world’s sky dripped into this valley, which later grew into a tree called the Mysterious Sky Tree. The Mysterious Sky Fruit is said to contain a trace of the essence of the original world when this fragmented world was whole. He was surprised at how ignorant Emrys was behaving.

Mu Bailing pulled the corner of his clothes and gestured for him to not speak carelessly. Then she took a step forward and explained, "The twelve steps Ye Yun just talked about are the foundational steps to harness the Cosmic Energy from the void around us. As you know, we cultivators have to first refine our bodies and then build our foundation to finally extract qi from the air and introduce them into our bodies. The body Refinement Stage and Foundation Building Stage are two basic steps we must take before introducing the qi into our body. Only then can we officially start our cultivation."

"Just like that, the first twelve steps are basic foundational steps we must take before introducing Cosmic Energy into our bodies. Otherwise, our body will explode. Each step represents a level of attunement we accumulate over time. The first five steps are the most difficult and crucial.
