Chapter 94: Ch 94: I Am Emrys Frazier

How could this happen? Why did it happen?

These were the only two questions in everyone’s mind. They were either thinking about the "how" or the "why." None of them held anyone responsible for what had just occurred because they knew none of them had the ability to kill so many people instantly by slicing their bodies in half.

So, who killed them?

"It’s you!"

Ye Yun’s eyes fell on Emrys, who stood a few meters away from Prince Yushan, silently wiping blood from his blade. Surprisingly, the blade had never left Emrys’s side; it was still with him.

Emrys’s current position and the traces of blood on his blade were clear proof that the culprit behind so many deaths was none other than him.

"I don’t feel like wasting time anymore, so I took action. Had you fought them, who knows how long it would have taken you to deal with them," Emrys responded calmly.

He was calm on the surface, but deep inside, his heart was trembling. He couldn’t believe what he had just done. He couldn’t understand why it had happened.

A few moments ago, Emrys had been merely a spectator, silently observing their conflict without any intention of intervening. However, as they continued their pointless bickering, something deep within his soul urged him to stop wasting time and resolve the issue immediately.

Without much thought, the dark mist had automatically flowed from his body, wrapping around his blade as he grabbed it. In a flash, he had moved, and so many lives were taken in an instant.

Whose fault was it?

Was it Emrys’s fault for acting so impulsively, or was it Ye Yun and the others’ fault for making him feel like everything was a waste of time? The lines of responsibility blurred in the aftermath of his sudden and violent decision.

Emrys soon came to a conclusion: there seemed to be an extra part deep inside his soul, and it was that extra part’s fault. For a moment, it had completely clouded his mind and affected him greatly.

"I need to take a closer look at that," he thought. "I don’t want to act so rashly and impulsively like I just did. I don’t want to become a mere tool for killing, incapable of even thinking about the situation and deciding whether to act or not on my own."

With this resolve, Emrys decided to delve deeper into his consciousness at the first opportunity. He knew he needed to understand and address this foreign influence within his soul before it could cause more harm.

However, before he could do that, he was pulled back to the present by a cold sound.

"You killed them?"

Prince Yushan asked with an indifferent tone, but his voice was extremely cold.

"So what if he killed them? What can you even do?"

Before Emrys could respond, Ye Yun said sarcastically with a cold smile. His expression was sharp, and his words were powerful.

Emrys frowned. He didn’t like Ye Yun’s intervention this time, but thinking of the fact that he also interfered in a matter that had nothing to do with him, he took a deep breath and calmed down. This was originally their conflict, so it would be better to let them solve it.

He no longer wanted to move his muscles pointlessly for someone else.

"Don’t think that you can be compared with me just because your friend killed three of my subordinates. At least, you are not even worthy of serving me right now!"

Prince Yushan, who was part of the Holy Light Empire, spoke proudly. His eyes showed strong confidence. He also had his own pride.

If he wanted to kill Ye Yun, how could Ye Yun stop him?

Just then, they heard loud sounds of footsteps approaching their direction. Soon enough, a few people showed up. Their eyes were filled with excitement. The people passed by them as if they weren’t there. It seemed that they were running off to somewhere in a hurry,

"We have to get there as soon as possible. Otherwise, the Mysterious Sky Fruit will fall into someone else’s hands!" One of the people said.

"Mysterious Sky Fruit?"

Prince Yushan heard this and a strange light flickered in his eyes. He turned his gaze back at Ye Yun and said, "I have to say, you are very lucky. I will let you temporarily keep your life, but I guarantee that you will not be able to leave the Mysterious Valley alive!"

Then he turned to give Emrys a cold but deep look. The strength Emrys displayed was not ordinary. At least, he was unable to see how Emrys moved. He knew for sure that he was not Emrys’s match, at least not in direct confrontation.

However, it doesn’t mean he was ready to forgive Emrys for his actions as well. If an opportunity arises, he would make sure to take revenge on Emrys.

"Humph!"

Snorting coldly, he turned around and followed the crowd in a flash. He didn’t even glance at Jing Jun, who he wanted to toy with earlier. Perhaps in his eyes, women are just tools for his own pleasure.

Mu Bailing immediately let out a sigh of relief when Prince Yushan left. Then she immediately walked towards Ye Yun with a smile and said, "Ye Yun, I did not expect you to be so powerful. You actually managed to kill Ning Ming with one attack."

Ye Yun smiled and said flatly, "He was nothing."

Mu Bailing asked.

"Wait," Ye Yun nodded and turned to Emrys before saying, "Do you want to come with us?"

Emrys nodded without hesitation. Ye Yun was the first person he saw in this space. He needed answers, and Ye Yun and his group were the only ones who could give him answers.

"On that note, I don’t think I have seen you ever before. Who are you? What is your name?" Ye Yun again asked. His eyes were filled with curiosity.

"Oh, I am Emrys Frazier.’ Emrys responded, and then continued, "As for your first question, no, we have never seen each other before. I only remember seeing you before losing my consciousness."

Emrys Frazier!

What a strange name!

Not just Ye Yun, even Mu Bailing and Jing Jun thought the same. This was the first time they heard a name like this.

But no one said anything.

"I am Ye Yun."

Ye Yun said before pointing at Mu Bailing and saying, "She is a senior of mine, Mu Bailing!"

As for Jing Jun, he did not bother to introduce her.
