Chapter 312: Ch 312: Seeing Serafina Again

While Emrys sealed the space around the cave to block the chaos inside affecting the outside, he did not expect the divine runes outside also to start flickering with dangerous energy.

Emrys understood that these Divine Runes were about to explode too.

Although these runes were for trapping and killing invaders, they were, without a doubt, part of the Grand Formation that wrapped around the four worlds and the Celestial Horizon in one dangerous thread.

Now that the eye of the formation was gone, the entire formation became useless. It did not explode or cause destruction. Instead, it simply faded away, as if it had never existed in the first place.

However, the divine runes placed near the Eye of the Grand Formation were still affected by Emrys’s careless attitude when he took away the Archway, causing them to be affected and explode.

There was another thing Emrys did not expect.

In the Celestial Horizon, something strange happened at this moment. The top experts, known as Eternal Sky Soul Masters, suddenly felt something change.

They had not felt something like this before, but now, they did. They felt as if a binding force had vanished from their bodies. It was also at this moment they realized that from the very start, some kind of invisible force was binding them. It was as if an eye had always been watching over their every move.

This kind of sensation was quite annoying.

Now that the binding force has disappeared, they could not explain their feeling. It was as if they’d regained some sort of freedom that was forcefully taken away from them without them knowing. This kind of feeling....it was marvelous.

It was like a huge weight had been lifted from their souls.

Some of them even felt their cultivation rising. Some felt they were about to break through to a higher level.

On this day, many Eternal Sky Soul Masters chose to enter seclusion. They wanted to focus and use this opportunity to advance their cultivation.

But all of this had nothing to do with Emrys.

He had shrunk the entire collapsed cave into a tiny ball wrapped in spatial energy. Of course, he did not shrink the cave itself. Instead, he shrunk the space around it.

And he was able to do all this due to his authority over space.

Now, this small ball was like a sealed spatial passage. As long as someone could break the seal and enter, the cave would return to its original size.

For now, it was completely contained.

Emrys held the ball in his hand and played with it for a moment. Then, he suddenly disappeared.

The next moment, he reappeared in the void outside Celestial Horizon. There was nothing present in this void. A giant world was floating right below him. This was the Celestial Horizon, which is supposedly a corner of Spiritarium.

Although he was in the void, Emrys felt no problem standing there. In fact, he even had a feeling that he could enter the state of enlightenment and comprehend something essential about the void itself as long as he wanted to.

Of course, this was all due to the Timeless Enlightenment.

Emrys forcefully stopped himself from falling into that state. Then he casually threw the ball away in the endless darkness of space, letting the ball float endlessly in the vast void.

Without looking back, he vanished into the void and reappeared on a mountaintop closer to another Edge of Celestial Horizon. This ’edge’ was controlled by the Frazier Family.

Emrys came here not to look for his father, but someone else.

While still standing in the void, Emrys had released his Divine Sense to scan the Celestial Horizon. His powerful sense had covered the entire Celestial Horizon in an instant.

He did this because he wanted to find his father’s location and see what he was doing. At the same time, he also wanted to check on the outsiders who came from Spiritarium.

To his surprise, the outsiders were doing nothing important. Some were drinking and laughing in fancy places. Some were playing with women and enjoying themselves. Others were just wandering around and wasting time.

They were not training or searching for anything. It was as if they had no purpose in coming here.

Emrys even felt that those people were really too relaxed.

But he did not care about them for now. He focused on finding his father.

Soon, he located him.

To his surprise, his father was leading a group of people toward a place called Ice Lord Valley. This made Emrys think that his father was perhaps going to meet his mother.

Just as he was thinking about this, something else caught his attention. A familiar face appeared near Frazier Territory. It was a beautiful demonic face. It was a face he had not seen in many years.

She was Serafina Gracia, Emrys’s childhood friend.

He had not seen her in so many years, now seeing her here truly surprised him.

Just like Emrys, Serafina was no longer human. She had turned into a Soul Demon.

It had only been a dozen or so years since he last saw her. Yet, in this short time, she had grown incredibly powerful. She had risen from a weak Soul Demon to a Celestial Spirit Soul Demon.

This was shocking.

Even among Soul Demons, this kind of growth was extremely rare.

Emrys stared at her for a long time. His emotions were complicated. He remembered the days when they were just children. They used to run around, play, and laugh together.

Back then, she was bright, cheerful, and full of life.

But now...

Her aura was dark and twisted. Her once warm and lively energy had turned into something sinister and cold.

He came to this place only because Serafina was here. He was planning to meet her and see if she still remembered him or not.
