Chapter 304: Ch 304: Lu Moyu

The man bound by these chains looked evil and twisted. His eyes were black like the empty sky, but anyone looking into those eyes could feel extreme madness and hate. His body was covered with sinister tattoos.

Outside, the Archway suddenly lit up with a dark glow. The darkness was so thick that it started affecting Emrys’s surroundings. The dark runes on this archway also lit up; they started glowing red. An ominous energy exploded from the archway and completely enveloped Emrys.

Unfortunately, he failed because the Nine Heavens rejected him. Instead of accepting him, it turned against him. It was Ling Xiaolong who helped Lu Moyu withstand the attacks. In the end, Lu Moyu used the Space Disk to escape and, with the last bit of his willpower, entered the Abyss.

Most importantly, a huge ball of fire was sitting atop the tree like a crown on someone’s head.

It was definitely this image.

However, he was not sure because what he witnessed was not only for a split second but also very blurry. Yet, he still was able to make something out of that picture, understanding that it was a tree with a huge ball of fire as its crown.

What was that tree?

Emrys sighed, then shifted his attention to Lu Moyu.

As two of the eight chains restraining him shattered, the other six chains slowly retracted from the land and the sky, and completely merged into Lu Moyu’s body. These six chains transformed into six intersecting tattoos on his naked chest.

It was also after the tattoos appeared that Lu Moyu gained a brief period of freedom.

To Lu Moyu, it felt just like the first time a chain shattered—except this time, two chains broke at once.
