Chapter 254: Ch 254: Wielder of Destiny & Fate

"What more did you learn?" Emrys asked.

Andrea took a deep breath, let it out slowly, and said, "This land... the Celestial Horizon, it is not simple. It may look like any other place, but it is special. When four worlds collided, this land was formed. But there is more to it than that."

He paused for a moment, looking serious. "A big part of this land is actually born from the core of this Source Universe to fight against outer enemies. That also means this place has powerful energy and secrets that we can’t find anywhere else."

Now this was something new.

Emrys didn’t expect this surprise.

"Are you the son of destiny or something? Why the hell does the Will of Worlds choose you and tell you all this?" Emrys couldn’t help but mutter, though his voice was loud enough for Andrea to hear clearly.

Andrea was stunned, but then, he started laughing.

"Actually, you are very close!"

"What do you mean?" Emrys frowned.

"Although I’m not the son of destiny, I am the wielder of destiny. According to the will of worlds, I was born to guide "fate" and protect this universe against any threats that come from outside."

Emrys’ eyes widened. This was even more surprising than before. He had heard of people blessed with great power, but someone chosen as the ’Wielder of Destiny’ was the first one.

"What do you mean by guiding fate?" He asked.

Shaking his head, Andrea explained, "I don’t know. To find out more, I first need to become an Eternal Sky Soul Master. These Heavenly Soul Fruits were actually prepared just for me by the will of worlds. As the Wielder of Destiny, even though their effect will be reduced to only 1%, the Heavenly Soul Fruits will still help me no matter how many I eat."

This is cheating!

Emrys shouted loudly inwardly, but on the surface, his expression didn’t change.

"Tell me everything you learned just now," Emrys said.

Andrea didn’t think much about it. He knew Emrys was very powerful and wouldn’t hurt him.

It also connects the essence of life and death, where boundaries between two or more realms are blurred. In simpler terms, this small pool is actually an ascension gate that connects the four different worlds to a land much bigger and vaster than our universe. That place is called Spiritarium."

"However, the ascension gate has been blocked by outer forces using some powerful method. No one can ascend to the Spiritarium now. Anyone who tries will either die or become a soulless puppet controlled by those blocking the gate."

Emrys finally understands about the place being the center of world that connects the essence of life and death where boundaries between worlds are blur.

As for the matter related to people from Spiritarium attacking this universe, he was already aware.

Of course, he didn’t expect there to be a wielder of fate aside from the wielder of desinty.

"Only I can open the ascension gate again, but I can’t do it alone. I need the help of another person, the person who is also the wielder of fate."

"According to the will of the worlds, that person has already become an Eternal Sky Soul Master. Once I ascend to this rank, we can gather to break the restriction and open the ascension gate once again."

Emrys understood several things. In the end, the only words that came out of his mouth were, "Ascension Gate, huh?"

A wide grin appeared on Emrys’s face.

"No!"

Andrea was startled and quickly shook his head, saying, "You can’t activate it. Activating the ascension gate requires the combined power of me, the Wielder of Destiny, and the Wielder of Fate. This is an unbreakable law. Anyone who tries will die."

"Unbreakable law, huh?"

Emrys grinned at Andrea and said confidently, "Andrea, I’ll teach you a lesson that no one will ever teach you!"

Andrea looked at Emrys with confusion, only to hear something that shook him to the core.
