Walker Of The Blue Sky

Chapter 186: Ch 186: The Arkhaven

Chapter 186: Ch 186: The Arkhaven

Light Manipulation, bind!

Just as the giant Armored Beast appeared within the range of Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance, blinding golden light burst forth, transforming into several huge golden chains, speeding towards the beast.

In less than a second, the giant Armored Beast was tightly bound and could not break free no matter how much it struggled.

Without giving the armored beast any chance to escape, Emrys made his move. Golden fragments of light came together and materialized into several sharp swords, aiming at the armored beast’s weak point.

This beast’s entire body was covered in armor. Its only weak points were joints in its body that can move and curve. Several swords aimed the joint and soon broke the armor.

"Roar!"

The giant Armored Beast roared in fury and fear. The armor, its biggest defense, was now broken. If this human attacks again, heavy injuries will be the least of its worries.

"Die!"

Emrys did not give this armored beast a chance. Now that a part of the armor was broken, he materialized another sword and attacked. Although the armor had already been broken, its body was not weak either. Emrys had to continue attacking again and again at one place. Not long after, the beast was killed.

The giant armored beast transformed into countless fragments of light before entering Emrys’s body, bringing his cultivation to the peak of Twelfth Step very easily.

"Finally!"

Emrys heaved a breath of relief and sat down. This was one of the very few battles Emrys had to give his all in order to succeed.

Shaking his head, he looked deeper and started to walk again. About fifteen minutes later, he found himself standing in front of a huge door made of an unknown metal.

Emrys first observed the door but found nothing strange, so he tried to push.

Immediately, while producing a creaking sound, the metal door opened.

Emrys tried to look inside but could not see anything. In the end, he decided to enter.

Behind the metal gate was a spacious area that stretched as far as the eye could see. The surroundings seemed cold, and there was actually some fog. Moreover, it was very dark.

The yellow line also ended here. It seems the yellow line was for guiding people to come to this spacious area.

Emrys took a deep breath and started to walk step by step. He had only walked less than five steps when a beam of red light abruptly appeared and disappeared in a certain direction.

"Eh, what was that?"

Following the direction where the red light disappeared, Emrys arrived in front of a metal statue. This statue seemed to be made of the same material as the metal gate.

"A metal statue?"

Emrys walked over and realized that the statue was not very big.

What was this place? Why was there a statue inside the warship?

Just as Emrys was about to study the statue carefully, a red light flashed again. But this time, the red light did not disappear like before, instead, it arrived and hovered above the statue’s head for some time before shooting right at the statue’s head.

Cracks started to appear on the statue one after another, as if a layer of the shell was rapidly peeling off.

Emrys was shocked and hurriedly took a few steps back. As the shell of the statue fell down, revealing a humanoid creature. The reason it was called a humanoid creature but not human was that its body was pitch-black and suffused with a metallic glow. Its eyes were also like electronic eyes, looking very strange.

"Is this... A metal human... Cough, a robot?"

Emrys immediately thought of robots. Back in the Infinite Soul Star, humans have also developed robots, but these robots were hardly special. Unlike them, the robot in front of him was

Swoosh~

The robot’s eyes opened and a blue glow flashed in those eyes. As if scanning, it glanced at Emrys.

"A lowly Twelfth Step Warrior actually entered the Warship? How is that possible? Could it be that the power source is completely depleted?"

"Let me think... How long have I been asleep this time?"

"What? I’ve been asleep for countless Sage Eras. No wonder. It seems the Power Source has truly run out."

"Well, it doesn’t matter."

The robot seemed to be talking to itself.

On the other hand, Emrys was surprised. This humanoid creature was talking in an unknown ancient language, but for some reason, Emrys was able to understand it clearly.

Now that Emrys thinks about it, the people from Qi Cultivation World also talk in their own language, which is completely different from the language of Infinite Soul Star. But he not only understood them, but he was also able to communicate with them quite easily.

It is not like he spoke in their language. No, he talked in his own language, but they were able to understand him as well.

This is really too strange.

Anyway, Emrys noticed a few things from this robotic creature’s words. First of all, this creature has been asleep for a very long time. It seems it was awake before it fell asleep.

Also, it seems this very long period of time was called the Sage Era.

Emrys doesn’t really know how long of a period is one Sage Era, but he can tell it must be extremely long.

The robotic creature looked at Emrys. In the dark night, a pair of cold blue eyes stared intently at Emrys which caused Emrys to shudder. Emrys can feel tremendous power hidden within this robotic creature’s body. It was so powerful that Emrys felt like an ant. This creature gave him the same sensation Elysia Nightshade once gave him.

"Human, what is your name?" The robotic creature asked.

Emrys tried to calm his breath and replied, "Emrys Frazier!"

"Emrys Frazier," the robotic creature seemed to have recalled something after hearing his name and actually exclaimed, "So you are Emrys Frazier. Emrys, you are finally here. I’ve been waiting here, slumbering for an unknown number of Sage Eras, just for you."

"???"

The robotic creature was very excited and it seemed to know Emrys, but the same was not true for Emrys. He backed off hurriedly and looked at the robotic creature worriedly.

Why is this robotic creature behaving as if it knows me?

We have just met, how can it even know me?

Emrys’s mind was racing but he could not think of anything.

"What do you mean? Who exactly are you?"

Emrys realized that he could not ignore this question. How can someone know him when they just met? If he ignored the appearance of this robotic creature who claimed to be waiting for him for an unknown number of Sage Eras, he would be a fool.

"Do not rush. Since you are finally here, I will tell you everything. I have been asleep for too long, and this place is terrible. It is unbearable."

With that said, the robotic creature waved its hand. Immediately after, the ground seemed to shake. At the same time, beams of light suddenly appeared, dispersing the darkness and fog, and revealing the original appearance of this spacious place.

Only then did Emrys realize that place seemed to be an empty hall. The walls were covered in intricate patterns, and these patterns were behaving as the source of light, illuminating the entire hall.

It has to be said that this place was too clear to say that no one has visited it for countless eras.

Emrys was very cautious. He kept staring at the robotic creature. For some reason, he felt that this creature was just like a human, and not like those so-called intelligent robots at all.

The robotic creature asked Emrys to sit down. Emrys looked back and saw a weird black substance rising from the metallic ground, taking the shape of a comfortable sofa.

He was surprised but sat down without asking anything.

Then, the blue light in the robotic creature’s blue eyes flickered, as if it was thinking about something.

"First, let me check something."

The robotic creature waved its hand, and Emrys saw the wall of the hall suddenly becoming transparent. He could actually see the outside view. Emrys opened his mouth but did not say anything and kept silent while taking a deep breath.

"Hmmm... The barrier is not down. It means the Power Source has not been depleted yet. It hasn’t been broken as well. Just how did a Twelfth Step Warrior like you enter the Arkhaven?"

Emrys realized that this Space Warship was called Arkhaven.

The robotic creature waved his hand again and the situation inside this warship’s specific area appeared on the wall. Emrys could see countless huge transparent containers placed at a distance of about one meter from each other. There were thousands of these containers but almost all of them were empty. Only about a hundred of them were filled with shiny golden liquid.

"As expected, the power source has not been depleted yet."

The robotic creature muttered again and turned around. It was also at this moment the walls of the hall returned to their original appearance, filled with intricate patterns that were glowing, giving light and warmth to this spacious hall.
