Chapter 180: Ch 180: To The Mountain Peak

"We shall part ways here. Thank you for accompanying me over the past few months."

As they parted ways, Xu Ling and Cheng Xiao were grateful for everything Emrys had done for them. They knew that they wouldn’t be where they were without his help.

Emrys bid farewell to Xu Ling and Cheng Xiao before heading off on his own. It had been more than three months since they left the Celesto Tribe, and during that time, they had shared many adventures together.

Over the past three months, Emrys had helped Xu Ling and Cheng Xiao through various treacherous landscapes, from dense forests to dangerous mountain ranges. They encountered powerful beasts and traps, but with Emrys’s leadership and strength, they managed to overcome every obstacle quite easily.

Emrys also led them to find rare treasures and herbs that enhanced their cultivation smoothly. Each time they discovered something valuable, Emrys would make sure Xu Ling and Cheng Xiao used them to raise their strength. He also kept a few treasures but did not use them.

In just three months, both of them were able to climb to the Seventh Step with Emrys’s help.

As for Emrys, not only did he become a Twelfth Step Warrior, but he also broke through continuously in his Soul Cultivation and reached Intermediate Brilliant Gold Soul Master. A few days later, Emrys could be seen leaping from tree to tree before he stopped on top of a tree’s branch. In the distance, a silhouette of several mountain peaks caught his eye.

There was a tall pillar standing on top of each mountain peak, and all the pillars were connected with a huge chain bridge that was burning red for some unknown reason.

This was the very scene Emrys witnessed just after crossing the Petrified Forest.

Unlike other leveled areas, there is no border between a Level 0 and a Level 1 area. In fact, the Level 0 area in itself can be called a border between two areas. It is not called a Forbidden Zone just for fun, there are several reasons.

Currently, Emrys wanted to go to the top of the mountain peak to see exactly what are these pillars and that burning bridge.
