Chapter 170: Ch 170: A Treasure Worth Keeping!

Emrys could tell that the deformed sword was not ordinary. It also appeared to have intelligence. It was a weapon with spirit. Only such a weapon could possess intelligence.

This was not the first time Emrys came across this kind of weapon. There was another one in his hand as well. That weapon is the Sun & Moon Blade. He was able to obtain this blade from Xander Starling only after getting its recognition, and he gained the recognition of the blade only due to having Cosmic Essence Core before becoming a Cosmic Apprentice.

Sun & Moon Blade used to be the Guardian Blade of the Sun & Moon Sect. It was created by the founder of Sun & Moon Blade by using the extracted source of the Sun & Moon Celestial Empire. Emrys has no idea what this extracted source of the Sun & Moon Celestial Empire is, but it doesn’t matter as well, at least not for now.

Back then, Xander wanted to show Emrys the true strength of the Sun & Moon Blade, and that’s why, he performed a skill. However, since Xander was only a wisp of his original soul, he was unable to display the true might of this blade.

Just one strike and the entire world within the painting was destroyed. Nothing was left, only darkness and void. Emrys felt his eyes blurred and when he opened his eyes, he found himself outside the painting.

As for the Sun & Moon Blade, it has actually taken root inside Emrys’s Cosmic Essence Core. Emrys is not powerful enough to hold this sword yet, so he never took out this weapon. Other than the Sun & Moon Blade, two skills automatically appeared in Emrys’s mind. The first skill is the Yin and Yang Diagram. As for the second skill, it was called Sun & Moon Celestial Art.

Sun & Moon Celestial Art is a blade skill, but it is not just limited to blades. This skill has much more to give Emrys. All Emrys needed to do was increase his strength quickly.

Maybe due to the Mist of Abyss or due to Emrys’s will, the Abyssal Energy in the deformed sword did not affect the Soul Orb at all.

Emrys sucked in a deep breath of air and muttered inwardly. He doesn’t know the grade of this Soul Orb, but he can feel an extremely pure Soul Force surging within this Soul Orb. It is so pure that even he felt like immediately using it to nurture his Soul Mark.

However, he was far from the level where he could use this grade of Soul Orb. In the end, he silently kept the Soul Orb in his spatial ring and then glanced at the lake.

It wasn’t just the Nether Water Herb; even the water covering the area of one node and the soil tightly bound to the roots of the herb appeared. Everything had been transferred together.

"This... This?"

When the Abyssal saw this scene, he was stunned. He could not help but point at Emrys and tried to speak, only to be immediately attacked by immense pain. Even so, the shock in its eyes never diminished. I just could not understand how Emrys did it.

Emrys looked at the Abyssal and then shifted his attention once again, glancing at the Nether Water Herb in his hand.
