A huge change!
A significant change had occurred.
Not only had his body undergone a transformation, but even his personal information had changed dramatically. Several new attributes appeared on his information panel.
Previously, there was no mention of his Cosmic Cultivation, but now that information was listed. Additionally, new sections for Race, Racial Talent, Physique, Bloodline, and Soul appeared.
What particularly shocked Emrys was the "???" listed alongside "Human" in the Race section.
"What does that mean?" he wondered, feeling a deep sense of confusion. But then he recalled Ling Xiaolong’s words. Ling Xiaolong told his predecessor that he, the other soul is a ray from the Sun of Mysteries.
The Sun of Mysteries is an ancient and revered celestial body believed to be the source of all mystical energy that exists beyond the Vast Expanse of Eternity. Unlike a normal sun, this sun doesn’t just provide light and warmth; it radiates mystical energies that influence the very fabric of reality.
Ling Xiaolong also informed the predecessor that once Emrys awakens his true nature, he will be able to easily break the Curse of Echoing Silence.
It seemed that awakening his True Nature might be connected to the mysterious aspects of his Race and Racial Talent, both of which were marked with three question marks and listed as dormant.
Although Emrys wasn’t sure how to awaken his True Nature, he remained confident that he could eventually lift the Curse of Echoing Silence. After all, Ling Xiaolong had mentioned that besides awakening his True Nature, obtaining the Cursed Nature could also break the curse.
Emrys had already acquired the Cursed Nature from the foreign soul. However, his mastery over curses wasn’t yet sufficient to lift the Curse of Echoing Silence. For now, the curse remained, but Emrys was determined to hone his skills and ultimately break free of the curse.
Emrys glanced at his physique attribute, noticing the entry for "Space Body." He wasn’t particularly surprised to have acquired a Space Body, considering his affinity with space-attributed energy. However, the presence of a level indicator puzzled him. It suggested that his Space Body had room for growth, implying that he could potentially increase its level to enhance its capabilities.
He speculated that the relatively low level of his Space Body might be why he could only sense the space around him and manipulate space energy to a limited extent, rather than with complete freedom. This realization made him curious about how to level up his Space Body and unlock its full potential.
Perhaps, continuing to temper his body with the Space-attributed Energy will do the job.
Shaking his head, Emrys turned his attention to his bloodline attributes. He was already aware that he possessed two distinct bloodlines inherited from his parents. From his mother’s side, he had the Ice Pegasus Bloodline, while from his father’s side, he carried the Lightning Wraith Bloodline. However, both bloodlines were sealed and cursed, restricting his access to their powers.
Emrys understood that to unlock these bloodlines and access their potential, he would first need to break the curses placed upon them. Only then could he work on lifting the seals and fully awakening the unique abilities that these bloodlines could bestow upon him. The task seemed daunting, but it was a challenge he knew he would have to face if he wanted to awaken the true potential that belonged to this body which is now his body.
What surprised Emrys the most was the information about his soul that appeared on the panel. It indicated that his soul was now a "Hybrid Soul" which is partly sealed, partly cursed, and partly dormant.
He could grasp the concept of a Hybrid Soul and understand why it was partly cursed. However, he was puzzled by why his soul was also listed as partly sealed and partly dormant.
His current soul was the fusion of three distinct souls. He reasoned that the attributes of being partly sealed, partly cursed, and partly dormant corresponded to each of these three souls.
The "partly cursed" aspect likely belongs to his predecessor’s soul, which made sense given the Curse of Echoing Silence that is still restricting the predecessor’s potential from blooming. However, he couldn’t understand why the foreign soul was "partly sealed." This was perplexing, as he hadn’t noticed any limitations or seals on that aspect of his soul.
The most shocking revelation was that his own soul was described as "partly dormant". Emrys felt fully conscious and aware of himself, and from his perspective, there were no signs of dormancy. Yet, the information panel said that his soul was in a dormant state.
Could this dormancy indicate that his soul would only fully awaken upon the awakening of his True Nature?
This question lingered in Emrys’s mind as he considered the possibility that his current understanding of himself and his abilities might only be a fraction of his true potential. The idea that his soul was yet to be fully awakened suggested that there might be deeper layers of power and identity waiting for him to be discovered.
Emrys could not help but think what it means to be born from a Ray from the Sun of Mysteries!
What exactly is his full potential?
Several questions appeared in his mind, but none had an answer.
Taking a deep breath, Emrys suppressed his curiosity for now. He knew he would eventually get to know all the answers he wanted. But to know the answers, he might have to wait for a long time.
Strength!
I need to become stronger!
Emrys’s eyes burst with a profound light. He understood that he was still too weak. As long as he becomes strong, all his questions will be answered.
