Chapter 142: Ch 142: Snow Spirit Herb

"You have finally woken up!"

When Emrys opened his eyes, he found Xu Ling staring at him. He was surprised and retreated a few steps, asking, "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean what are you doing? I should be the one to ask this question." Xu Ling snorted and then said, "You’ve been standing here for seven days straight, with your eyes closed. Haven’t you got tired yet?"

"What did you say?"

Emrys was shocked. He did not expect to waste seven days here. Now that he thinks about it, Xander showed him the true power of Sun & Moon Blade. It was indeed a terrifying power, and that power belonged to the blade itself, not the one holding it.

Emrys could still recall that attack executed by Xander.

Zhu Yan was looking at this herb, but at the same time, he also saw two Snow Beasts. Both of the Snow Beasts were Fifth Step Beasts.

Beside Zhu Yan, two more people were standing, looking extremely grim.

All three of them have reached the Third Step somehow. In a normal situation, if the three of them fight against a Fifth Step Snow Beast, there is only one ending which is them getting wiped out by the Snow Beast.

The three-meter-tall Snow Beast let out a huge roar. Getting woken up from their sleep, they were really furious right now. The Snow Beast’s body was covered in black colored fur, the fur as hard and sharp as steel. Using its paw, the Snow Beast slapped ferociously toward the three cultivators.

Another big rock got smashed into powder by the Snow Beast’s paw. The wave of strong gales caused by the attack of a Snow Beast continuously appeared. In a short time, the three of them were forced out of the valley.

"Seriously damn it!"

They were all quite intelligent. Who would even do something when there’s a risk for them?

But the two Snow Beasts’ attacks were still very strong. The three of them had no choice but to retreat backward once again. What the three of them were planning, Emrys knew of course. No questions asked that they were trying to lure the two stupid Snow Beasts as far away from the valley so that they could quickly go back to the valley and take away the Snow Spirit Herb.
