Chapter 134: Ch 134: Emrys v/s Gu huzi

"How dare you?"

Just as Emrys walked towards the palace again, a stern shout full of rage reverberated in the air.

To everyone’s shock, a figure had appeared not far from them. His clothes were stained with blood. Obviously, he had just killed someone or a few people before coming here.

This person was Gu Huzi who just returned after killing everyone, only to see the dead bodies of his fellow members from the Purple Flame Sect.

How could he not be infuriated?

Xu Ling and Emrys were new faces so he blamed them directly. It was too obvious that his companions were killed because of the appearance of Emrys and Xu Ling.

"Who is he?" Xu Ling asked.

"He is Gu Huzi, a valued disciple of the Purple Flame Sect." Yan Husheng spoke in a trembling voice. He then pointed at dead people, speaking again, "The people we killed are all his juniors. He is very powerful, we better start running and get away from him as far as possible."

Gu Huzi?

Emrys curiously looked at Gu Huzi who was floating in midair, and was stunned to see three star patterns at the depth of his eyes. It seems this person was very lucky as well, able to climb the three steps of the Foundation Building in such a short period of time.

Fortunately, Gu Huzi’s attack was interrupted midair. Otherwise, had that attack landed on the target, if not dead, then everyone must have gotten seriously injured. Of course, Emrys is an exception.

"It must be you," Gu Huzi gritted his teeth in anger and pointed at Emrys, saying, "Everyone must have been killed because of you. You are the reason for death. I will kill you."

"Whoosh!"

Coldly speaking, Gu Huzi’s palm moved and a longsword appeared in his hand. It was a red longsword with inscriptions engraved on it, emitting waves of hot air. It was obviously a powerful weapon.

Emrys was surprised. He could obviously tell that the sword’s level was not low at all, reaching the level of at least a C-3 weapon back in the Infinite Soul Star. "A Spirit Weapon, huh?" Emrys silently observed the blade and then told everyone else to retreat. He was sure that no one but only he could face this person who was able to float in midair freely.

Back in the Infinite Soul Star, not even Purple Crystal Soul Master could float in the air. They can jump and stay in the air for a while longer, but can’t keep floating continuously.

However, the same does not appear to be the truth for Gu Huzi. Having strength comparable to that of a Gold Soul Master, he was able to float continuously. This might be the difference brought about by cultivating in a different cultivation system.

With the spirit sword in hand, a red light flashed that instantly surrounded Gu Huzi’s body. The next moment, Emrys felt as if Gu Huzi’s body blossomed like a flower.
