Chapter 115: Ch 115: Advanced Gold Soul Master

Emrys entered a fantasized state, thinking about how marvelous the Soulforge Prism Orb truly is. He felt a sense of awe and wonder. The orb seemed magical and powerful. It was hard for him to believe something so amazing could exist.

The more he thought about it, the more incredible it seemed.

Ling Xiaolong could tell Emrys’s heart was in turmoil, so he stopped speaking for a while. Only after a few minutes, when Emrys appeared to have recovered a little, Ling Xiaolong spoke, "Previously, you asked me what is easier between awakening the true nature or obtaining the Cursed Nature."

"Generally speaking, awakening his true nature should have been easier for the other soul. However, my answer was different. It is because I’ve sealed a powerful being with the fate of the cursed abyss inside the Soulforge Prism Orb. When the other soul takes over your body and awakens his Soul Mark, the Soulforge Prism Orb will release the secret spatial zone where the powerful being with the fate of the cursed abyss is sealed. That secret spatial zone will take root inside the other soul, and the other soul will obtain the cursed nature through that powerful being."

"As I told you before, I have already decided the future of the other soul. In other words, if you choose to fuse with the other soul, your future is already fixed."

Emrys’s breath, which had just calmed down, once again started to rise rapidly. He never expected the golden figure to actually seal a powerful being with the fate of the cursed abyss inside the Soulforge Prism Orb. Furthermore, it seems there is a huge space within this orb. After all, the golden figure had just spoken that a secret spatial zone where the powerful being is sealed will be released within his soul after the awakening of the Soul Mark.

But what attracted Emrys’s attention the most was the fact that his future path had already been decided.

No sane person would like someone else to decide their future for them.

Most importantly, Ling Xiaolong directly tells him that his future is already fixed, in a tone that clearly indicates that if Emrys truly accepts Ling Xiaolong’s offer, there is no other path left for him to walk.

Although he still felt uncomfortable, he accepted the situation.

Emrys did not expect Ling Xiaolong to ask this question. Shaking his head, he said, "I don’t know!"

After the initial fusion, the other soul will obtain your complete memories but not the conversation that happened between us here. This part of memories will be obtained by him only after the Curse of Echoing Silence breaks and you and your consciousness fuse with the other soul completely."

"When that time comes, the other soul will obtain answers to several questions and will know what to do next!"

Ling Xiaolong’s words made Emrys realize that he was truly nothing in Ling Xiaolong’s eyes at this moment. This kind of feeling was very uncomfortable but he could do nothing about it.

He understood that from the very start till now, everything Ling Xiaolong told him was for the other soul to know, not for him. But if he saw it from a different perspective, it was for him to know as well. Emrys understood Darkness and Curse, but he was unsure about the Abyss attribute.
